A quiet country retreat nestled in the picturesque rural outskirts of Higginsville, Missouri. Our place consists of three RV sites with water and electric hookups, two camping sites and one on-site travel trailer for rent. Wifi is available at all sites, except for Site 3. Green Acres at Red Brick Farm is located just 50 miles east of Kansas City off of I-70 at Exit 49. Once you are off of I-70 your drive is less than 8 minutes away on all blacktop roads.
Site 2 is on gravel with 30 amp hookup and water, preferably best for RV’s and trailers 25’ and under. Site 1 and Site 3 are on gravel with a 20/30/50 amp hookup and water, best suited for larger RV’s and trailers. You may choose your site location, but due to the small number of sites we have we may have to alter your choice. This is so we can accommodate our guests in the best way possible, depending on the size of each rig.
If you are towing a vehicle or pulling a trailer your total length should be 55’ or under. We will not accept Triple Axels. Site 4 and site 5 are for tents, pop ups, very tiny trailers and are in flexible locations. A 20 amp standard outlet can be provided for site 4 and site 5. For your use is a shower, toilet, and bathroom sink in our farmhouse basement. Please arrive before dusk, so you don’t disturb other campers.
Site 6 Is the on-site travel trailer, ‘Ain’t She Cute’. No Pets are allowed when reserving ‘Ain’t She Cute’. The vintage style travel trailer is completely renovated and decorated with collectibles and antiques and is available for booking. It is furnished with a queen size bed, tiny kitchen, TV, wifi, and full size, not trailer size, bathroom. The trailer is for 2 guests, but an additional guest may sleep on the daybed, preferably a child or small adult.
We live onsite in our 1920’s Prairie Style home which is also Red Brick Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with three Guest Rooms available for booking. Look us up online.
At your disposal, is the use of our outdoor furniture, a large yard to walk around in, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and even a tire swing.
Our restaurant, Red Shanty Cafe and BBQ, is located in the town of Higginsville, about 5 miles from Red Brick Farmhouse. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds and Thurs, 11am - 8 pm and Fri and Sat, 11am - 9pm.

We have two private sites, a primitive campsite directly on the Lake of the Ozarks, and a RV spot with full hook-ups (water, 50 amp AC, and sewer). The two sites are separated from each other, but both have access to the lake, including kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, excellent fishing, a boat-ramp, floating dock and a one-mile perimeter nature/hiking trail.
*** NOTE *** From January until early May, the lake level is dropped about five (5) feet, so boating and fishing access range from difficult to impossible (though, arrowhead hunting is a fun activity you might enjoy during the low water months!).

We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely be back. We camped right in the shore of the lake. The setting is peaceful and beautifully cared for, with endless ways to enjoy the lake—paddle boats, a free floating dock, and a water trampoline were highlights. The bath house was very clean, the hosts were genuinely kind, and the complimentary dozen of eggs was a thoughtful surprise. The free-ranging peacocks and soft lighting around the property made it feel truly unique. Kenny is even working on a pickle ball court and basketball free throw court. Highly recommend.

Lot's of thought and care has gone into the design of this destination. We loved the outdoor components and met some friendly folks in a camper nearby. The loft bed was a bit challenging for this 60+ grandma to climb into so work your core and legs before the trip!

We stayed on the bus which is at the "mouth" of the farm. So it isn't in the woods, as I misunderstood it to be. Staying on the bus is sort of staying in the parking area, right at the entrance to the farm.
But we set up our area and "compound" as much as possible as if we were in the woods.
The staff is excellent. Friendly and helpful.
The grounds are well cared for and immaculate. The trails are well worn and the woods are full of delightful distractions with various sitting areas and interesting art and sculptures. Such as the Zen Meditation area.
The land is diverse and the forest reverberates with a steady cadence of vibratory energy. The real "pearl" of Milo is the land, which is truly enchanting (as most woods are) but because of the vision to create a lasting legacy to attract other travelers, Milo Farm should continue to thrive and improve under the loving watch of Loni, the proprietress.
I might add, because of her own palpable energy, I think a guiding light of the Divine Feminine is shaping the evolution of the space.
If ever there was a time that the Divine Feminine should spread her nurturing wings, it is surely now.

We loved staying at the funky bunkhouse at Milo Farm. The amenities were exactly as advertised. Our kids loved the animals, they even named one of the donkeys ka donk a donk a donk. I loved having a bed to sleep in and a roof for the one rainy night. We all loved the trails and interesting things to see on the land. We definitely want to come back.

My children and I greatly enjoyed our time at Milo Farm. Everyone was kind and friendly. My children enjoyed exploring the trails, though we must return to see them all, and the Hobbit Hut was the perfect amount of whimsy we needed! Whether playing in the rain, cooking our meals on the bonfire, or naming frogs by the pond...everything felt otherworldly. It was three days of peaceful, healing energy. The animals were such a pleasure to see, the library is truly a gem, and the art studio was an immediate hit with the kids. Would highly recommend and already looking at dates for a future visit.

Realy nice area. Camp sites were far enough away from other camp sites that it gave that alone feeling. The trails were nice and well kept. Could see all the stars at night. And having the in house bath room and rec area was nice too. Most of all was impressed with how nice and helpful they were. Good people. Thanks for everything.
