We have two private sites, a primitive campsite directly on the Lake of the Ozarks, and a RV spot with full hook-ups (water, 50 amp AC, and sewer). The two sites are separated from each other, but both have access to the lake, including kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboat, excellent fishing, a boat-ramp, floating dock and a one-mile perimeter nature/hiking trail.
*** NOTE *** From January until early May, the lake level is dropped about five (5) feet, so boating and fishing access range from difficult to impossible (though, arrowhead hunting is a fun activity you might enjoy during the low water months!).
Primative Campsite - A private 1.5 acre campsite with a firepit (and plenty of wood to burn in it) and direct access to the Lake of the Ozarks. Amenities and features of the campsite include: a private camp toilet with a door and a concrete pad, picnic table on a gravel pad with an umbrella, a fully equipped cornhole game, fishing pole holders, a garbage can and three (3) level wood tent platforms.

Camping is primitive with only an outhouse and no shower facilities. There are MANY thorn trees, so hikers must have proper footwear. Fire ring, wood and a grate for cooking are provided. Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance. All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Parking area is at the end of the driveway and a cart is provided to take your gear across the bridge. We love kids and will provide lawn darts or any other games we have available if requested. Enjoyed my tent camping and canoeing weekend stay from site 12. This Hipcamp was well appointed with a picnic table, fire ring and a conveniently located indoor bathroom with flush toilet, shower and outdoor sink. On the tent sites there was room for privacy and flat ground located high on a high ridge that provided both a scenic view and nice breeze. Communication prior to arriving with the property owner and directions were helpful. Access to the Niangua River was very convenient as the tunnel dam entry point is about one mile away.

Easy to maneuver our 35 ft motorhome while towing our Jeep. Was a great place to stay, coming and going back and forth to our grandson's baseball tournament just 10 minutes away. Quiet campground in March. Dirt road for a few miles and whistle bridge to cross to get to the campground, which were not a problem at all for us. Satellite friendly. 2- bars for Verizon service but AT&T service was good.

Was very quiet, beautiful view even before everything started to grow after winter. The stars were amazing! Not a lot of light pollution there. Make sure you bring wood as there is little to no wood there to be found. Very clean location, however the bathroom could have used a little looking after in the 2 days we were there no one checked to see if there was even toilet paper, or that it was clean. Other then that great place.

Realy nice area. Camp sites were far enough away from other camp sites that it gave that alone feeling. The trails were nice and well kept. Could see all the stars at night. If you’re looking to catch done easy catfish, look no further! We unfortunately weren’t able to land ourselves any bass like we had hoped but that was no fault of the hosts! Mike is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and he checked up on us about twice everyday, usually once in the morning and once at night to see if we needed anything or had any issues! The campsite has 3 different platform sizes to accommodate whatever type you have, plenty of seating, and a nice and deep fire pit that has both a grill attachment as well as a hanging arm for something above the fire. Rod holders are alongside the rock wall at the edge of the camp near the water edge, and as said before when the water level is up this is definitely a pristine fishing spot, lots of cover for the fish to hold to, even right in front of your camp! The kayaks were a nice touch in case you don’t have a boat, you can still enjoy the water and they hold more than enough fishing equipment if you want to get out deeper. Overall definitely would recommend this site to anyone looking to vacation in the Warsaw area, can’t find much better than the amenities Mike has provided for you at the price.

The hosts truly went above and beyond, and it’s clear how much care they’ve put into creating these camping and RV spots. Everything is clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully set up. Super quiet area! Booked a tent site and was told I could park in a gravel rv spot as we were just needing a place to park and sleep in our van, super great upgrade! The place was super quiet and pretty views. Shower/bathroom was great. Only issue was the entrance as the bridge was flooded out (no fault of the host) but the other entrance was very steep gravel roads, but it was drivable and the bridge was cleared in a day. The spots were super clean and we were the only people there! River access is super steep but toward the bridge there is a mini beach that is super cute and fun. Overall this was a great spot to get for a couple nights of van-camping.
