Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. We have a good team in place to help your stay be enjoyable please just understand we don’t operate like some of the nudist clubs you may be used to.
Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas, overlanding, a bus, and a container available as lodging options. The campground has a bathroom facility with indoor shower and outdoor showers. We have a hot tub guests can use along with hiking trails, a propane grill and swimming pool.
Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well. Come stay on the buff bluff!

The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away.
This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.)
We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.
We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).
Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

We have one short term vacation rental cabin listing “The Little Sugar Shack”, one long term cabin listing “The Ridge Adventure Center”, a 4 bed 2 bath “The Ridge Ranch House” available April 1st, 2026 and a 2025 Forest River Veranda RV listing. These are found on a competing short term rental platform.
In addition we offer primitive camping for your whole group and the 3 RV sites found here on Hipcamp including 30/50 amp electric/water sites and a dump station.
We are an ADULTS ONLY glampground and the hot tub is NO longer an amenity for use by Rv groups. We apologize for the convenience but the hot tub is only available to the guest renting The Little Sugar Shack or the entire glampground.

Welcome to The Ridge Ranch LLC, a 10 acre Campground short term vacation rental glampground adjacent to The Huckleberry Ridge Conservation Area, located 3 miles from where Little Sugar Creek and Big Sugar Creek converge to form Elk River.
We have one short term vacation rental cabin listing “The Little Sugar Shack”, one long term cabin listing “The Ridge Adventure Center”, a 4 bed 2 bath “The Ridge Ranch House” available April 1st, 2026 and a 2025 Forest River Veranda RV listing. These are found on a competing short term rental platform.
In addition we offer primitive camping for your whole group and the 3 RV sites found here on Hipcamp including 30/50 amp electric/water sites and a dump station.
We are an ADULTS ONLY glampground and the hot tub is NO longer an amenity for use by Rv groups. We apologize for the convenience but the hot tub is only available to the guest renting The Little Sugar Shack or the entire glampground.

We really enjoyed camping on the sandbar near the creek at Curt’s Cabin! My son and I went for an overnight getaway. The cabin was already being rented so we were offered that as an alternative. We visited Ste Genevieve on the way there from St Louis. The spot was quiet and really pretty and not too far off the highway. It was a bit sunny, but since we got there later in the afternoon it wasn’t too bad. There were tables and chairs and a little fire pit already there for us to use which was nice.

We camped in the safari tent and had a cozy lovely time. Although it was in a loop with other campsites it felt plenty private, set back from the road and separated from the other sites by plenty of trees. Didn't end up trying the tub, but it looked nice. The wood stove kept us warm throughout the night, and the solar power bank and water pump were a nice touch.

3 nights at Ozarks Piney Bend Riverfront
The view of the cabin was absolutely breath taking. The cabin overlooks the beautiful big piney river and outlooks large rocks and Missouri hills. We stayed here from 10/23-10/26 so the vibrant fall leaves painted the backdrop. Even just sitting on the patio drinking coffee was very tranquil. We could not kayak due to the weather since it was raining on and off during our stay. Lacy was so kind to give us a full refund and a discount code for next time! Outside the cabin there is a huge fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and stargazed. We recommend buying some fire wood from Lacey and utilizing the bonfire grill and regular grill. Lacey offers so many amenities that made home cooking meals super easy and enjoyable. We made some really amazing meals that we enjoyed by candlelight on the picnic table. The aesthetic of the cabin was 10/10 and super hippie/boho and cozy. Which we absolutely loved! Our dogs had a wonderful time playing fetch outside the cabin. One of the best parts was taking a hot shower while it was chilly outside. This was the perfect and most romantic trip for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his 30th birthday. It is our tradition to go Glamping for our birthdays. We’ve been to a few different airbnbs but we both agreed that this has been our fav.Lastly but most importantly, Lacey was an extremely hospitable host, really quick to answer any questions I had and went out of her way to accommodate us several times. Thank you so much Lacey we will be back:)

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing trip at Arcadia Vally! We were worried about the campsites being too close but we were not interrupted by any of the other noise. To anyone staying, I highly recommend this campsite over the others in the area! Lots of room for a big tent and even trees very suitable for a hammock. One thing I would like to mention, the road is gravel on the way to the campsite. Be aware if your vehicle is not suitable on rougher terrain.
