clean bath house, and want everyone to have a great time at our campground. Sometimes it's crazy booked up and other times it may just be you.

We have spacious sites that are all different shapes and sizes. Depending on the site it may have 20/30/50 amp service depending on the site. There are currently only three that have 50 amp service. Easy access to the trail and a quick drive to a few parks. The common area is a fun spot and Mark and Amy are great. Checked in on us a few times and gave us some helpful trail tips. Cool that there are different options on the property with the cabins and campers separate from the rustic tent spots. Would recommend a visit!

We spent the 4th of July weekend at Whispering Waters and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The property is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and the lawn is nicely kept. It feels private and peaceful, making it a great place to unwind.
The river is the highlight. Sitting down by the water and listening to the gentle sound of the current is incredibly relaxing and was one of our favorite parts of the weekend.
We were a little concerned about mosquitoes and bugs since it was early July, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were very few mosquitoes, and the overall bug population was much better than we expected for this time of year.
If you're bringing a dog, they'll think they've found paradise! Our dog Charlie claimed the place as his kingdom and had the time of his life exploring, relaxing, and watching over "his" campsite.
Megan is a fantastic host. She was quick to respond, helpful with any questions we had, and made sure everything went smoothly. It's obvious she takes pride in the property and wants her guests to have a great stay.
We left already talking about coming back. Whispering Waters is a hidden gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing camping getaway.

Had a great time pitching my tent in the Rustic Camping area. Drove right up to the spot. There were a few other campers but lots of space in between us, so felt pretty secluded. There is a pristine portapotty a short distance away and there are several fire rings with picnic tables around the area. The outdoor shower was heated and plenty of pressure. Only a few minutes ride to get on the Dragon trail which was way more fun than expected for an XC type trail!

This past weekend we stayed here for the first time. It was a really cute spot. The wooded area was nice and pretty private. There was even a playground area with a volleyball net and mini bball court that my family and I went to play at. The showers/bathrooms were nice for a campground. I would definitely recommend this place. Very nice owner. We had a great time.

The place is clean and beautiful plus the owner: Mark & Amy are very friendly and took time to checked on everyone to make sure we are comfortable enough and offering further assistance to make our stay really enjoyable. They even allowed me to stay near the shower/toilet as I can’t walk really good or far. Would definitely come back to Dragon Adventures Base Camp. FYI I drove 5 hours to get here as I am from DeKalb IL but it’s worth the drive.

The campsite was really peaceful and in a beautiful field. We were the only ones camping there at the time and had our dog with us. It was a really nice set up for our group. Our dog is a little reactive, so if that’s something you’re worried about, the campsite is a bit removed from the farm, so we were able to comfortably set up camp without worrying about our dog bothering or reacting to any of the animals on the farm. Would definitely recommend!

We camped here in tents over a long weekend and absolutely loved the campground. Not only is Angie a badass, but she is an amazing host too. She's done a great job with the property. We talked to her directly and she quickly responds to messages. She was very flexible and kind enough to put our two large groups in campsites next to each other even though we arrived super late at night. The bathrooms/showers are newly renovated and clean. The common room has a bunch of board games, ping pong, air hockey... so it's a great area to spend time indoors during bad weather. There is a zipline, swing sets for kids and adults and a "ninja warrior" style obstacle cable for kids. The campground is by the river, so we went tubing. We dropped off our tubes at Highbanks Park, and ended our ride at the campground itself. This is a 1 hr ride on tubes which is good if you go with young kids. You can also drop off at Hemlock Park which would be around 3 hrs tubing to the campground. The river is fairly shallow with a steady flow at around 2 mph, so plan accordingly. We loved that we had a more personal and private camping experience as there are only 13 campsites on the property. We would love to stay at the cabins next

The spot is gorgeous and so perfect for some time away. The river was the perfect size. Big enough for a lovely background when you’re sleeping and still small enough to wade in and was safe for the dogs to play in. There are lots of fish and critters to find.
The dogs loved playing in the river of course and there was plenty of room for fetch.
We loved how close it was to Grand Rapids. My husband had to work later than expected the day we came and had to leave for a few hours the next day. Being so close to town made it still doable for us when our plans had to change.
Spots for tents are generally shaded for the full day, but there’s still plenty of sunny spots at the site if that’s what you’re looking for.
There’s enough tree cover that as long as it wasn’t heavy rain, the site didn’t get super wet.
Host was very helpful, responsive and kind.
This was a perfect spot for those with a backpacking setup. The stairs down to the site were brutal with our car camping setup even for experienced campers/hikers.
Also, be aware of the horseflies in addition to the typical mosquitos. Definitely got a few painful bites.

I went with five of my buddies to this beautiful property, and we had an awesome time. There were plenty of trees for hammocks, a nearby swimming hole, and fishing spots everywhere.
Dean is a great host. He supplied us with bikes and kayaks and pointed us to all the best hiking trails and swimming spots. We came prepared to camp, but if you don’t, the campsite already includes chairs, firewood, a fire pit, and a small axe for chopping wood. Overall, this campsite is beautiful. It’s on a large private property, very secluded, surrounded by trees, with a trail that loops around the property. I strongly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a peaceful piece of land! Nothing beats being lulled to sleep by the sound of the river flowing. I cannot stress enough to pack light! The trail down to camp was steep, loose gravel, and challenging with a wagon. Worth the effort, and my dog was in heaven.
