Welcome to Elmcrest Acres, located in an area known to locals as Devil's Creek. Originally this was a dairy farm started by my parents in the 40's. My dad had been selling Christmas trees since 1945 and when the milking got to be too much for my mom we converted it to a Christmas tree farm in 1979. Dave & I built our home here and continue the Christmas tree tradition as well as raise Haflinger horses, The sheep started as 4H projects for our kids in the 90's and now my daughter and I have a small flock. One thing seems to lead to another here and we opened the farm to visitors. We have a large space that can be used for family reunions, birthday parties etc and we offer a variety of classes and special events. (This will be the building where you can get water, use the bathroom and take emergency shelter if needed.) We also purchased my parents home from my siblings and rent it as a farm stay vacation spot. We really enjoy the variety of people we've hosted in one way or another, and love to share what our lives are like with others.While I love to travel myself, there is no where else I could call home! I love being able to enjoy all four seasons and knowing 5 cars on my road is a busy day. I hope you find the same sense of 'home' here that I do.Learn more about this land:Plenty of space to pitch your tent overlooking the Christmas tree field and a gorgeous view of the hardwood forests in the distance. Located just a half mile from our farm you will have complete privacy, but are welcome to come visit the animals. Site includes a fire ring and picnic table. Our 120 acres are located about 10 miles off the highway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There are state hiking and ATV trails within a couple of miles if you want to venture further than our property. Bring a camera as you will have plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. This campsite is remote and in a rural area, you never have to see another person if you choose not too. This is your best defense against Covid-19! (Picnic table is disinfected between each set of guests.)

I have a place to rest for a couple nights, there is a small non motorized lake across the road. Dunbar is not to far away and there you can find Thermal Chaos, it's a great bbq place, they also have great burgers and 24 hr 91 non ethanol gas. You can also try Richard's supper club for great food also. I am also right on the atv trail. Marinette country has many waterfalls to explore also.
Please follow the golden rule of camping and hiking is “leave no trace.” Anything you bring in, must be carried out. Please pack your waste, trash and recyclables, and take it with you when you leave.
You may use dead and downed wood as firewood, but do not cut live trees or brush. Keep fires small and make sure your campfire is out before you leave.

We are a small bar and grill 12 miles west of Crivitz WI. Conveniently located right on the ATV and Snowmobile trails. There are plenty of lakes and steams for the avid fisherman. We are located just a few miles east of the Nicolet National Forest. We have great food and always a friendly atmosphere. So come on up and join us for a relaxing week or just a weekend.Camp in our nicely furnished tent cabins, Site #1 ( Bri's Hideaway) is furnished with a queen bed, love seat and refrigerator. Site #2 ( Adam's Getaway ) is furnished with a full bed, 1 cot style bunk beds and a refrigerator. We recommend bringing sleeping bags for both sites during the cool weather camping, we furnish some blankets but may not be adequate for the chilly nights in the later season. We are right on the ATV trails, with many lakes, rivers and trout streams close by. There is whitewater rafting nearby for the trill seekers. Or if you enjoy hiking, the Nichole National Forest is minutes away. You can relax on the front deck of your tent cabin or sit by the campfire. We are a small country bar & grill. We have a great Friday night fish fry, or try our famous chicken dinner, or one of our homemade pizzas, we have wraps, sandwiches and more. We are located 1 hour north of Green Bay, WI. The tent cabins will be open May 1st through October 31st with a shower room available. There is limited heating available in the units. Please plan accordingly. Due to the somewhat limited internet access at the camp sites, we may be unable to respond in a timely fashion to your email.

We had a great time! This camp site exceeded our expectations!! It’s a beautiful site, meticulously clean, and very spacious. We enjoyed birds, turtles laying eggs and looking at beautiful flowers. Kathy was very attentive to our needs and questions. We will definitely be back! Next time we will bring our kayaks!

Weekend Trip to Alderwood Crossing
This was an easy, one night stop. Paul greeted us as soon as we pulled in and kindly showed us the space. The water pump in the cabin was a huge help, and it was nice to charge phones using the power station. Felt extremely private, even being close to other cabins.

I cannot stress this enough, lovely hosts, even lovelier spot! The amenities were killer for a motorcycle ride, clean showers, laundry, on site food/drinks, wood for fire.
Seriously my group rolled in on motorcycles and they went out of their way to accommodate us. With a terrible storm rolling in they entertained us at the onsite bar, even offering shelter if things got too serious. In short, don’t hesitate to drop in on this wonderful hosts!

This site is absolutely amazing! Super spacious, great sun and shade options. There is nice fire pits and picnic tables and the cleanest ports-potty I’ve ever seen. My wife and I loved sitting by the river and watching our dog play in it all day. Kathy is a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a spacious and private spot to relax.

We loved our time at Vagabond Resort! We were greeted by Kenny who made our stay the most enjoyable time! We had our toddler with us and we were excited to take her to the swings, little did we know they had all sorts of outdoor toys, slides, sandbox and even a basketball hoop for her to play with! The next morning, Kenny noticed us outside at the playground and he brought us two rags to wipe water away from the equipment we were playing with - it was so kind! He even let us pet his sweet doggy Sassy 🤗 all in all it was a wonderful place with clean bathrooms and lots of space to make a short home in nature ❤️ we loved it! Thanks!!

We had an amazing stay at River View Get Away. The site was peaceful, private, and exactly what we were looking for. We often travel during busy holiday weekends, so having the space almost entirely to ourselves was such a refreshing change.
Kathy was one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, shared helpful information about the property, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our stay. We even had a funny mix-up with the firewood payment, and she handled it with so much kindness and humor.
The campsite was well-maintained, quiet, and perfect for relaxing by the river, fishing, and unwinding. My husband said before we even left that this is his favorite campsite we’ve stayed at and that we’d absolutely come back.

First time camping with our young family while exploring Door County, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. John and Phil were incredibly helpful in getting us settled into our primitive campsite and made us feel welcome right away.
The campsite itself was spacious enough for our family of four, with plenty of room to comfortably set up an 8-person tent. It was level, private, and nicely surrounded by trees and brush, which made it feel peaceful and secluded. The only minor downside was the lack of picnic tables at the primitive sites.
My wife was especially impressed by how clean the bathrooms and shower facilities were throughout our stay. Overall, this campground made for an excellent first family camping experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The property has primitive camping, rv spots and cabins. They have a building with showers, toilets, food shop, gift shop and a bar open from 4-9. The primitive spots have a couple of port a potties and carts to take your things to the site from your car. Each site has a fire ring. There is a playground for kids and a bike trail. John, Marcia and Phil were great!
