This was a great spot to disconnect from electronics and experience nature! We had limited signal at the site itself but it did not impact our stay. Gregoria and Steve were very responsive and helpful. They provided us with everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay! Some of the highlights for us was the hot shower, light up frisbee, and disc golf basket. There was also plenty of room inside the tent and things to keep the family busy. Looking forward to booking with them again in the future for another family getaway!

The cabin is nice, just the right size! The porch is a nice touch which allows you to hangout & cook your food. The field you over look on the porch is really nice! We had our 3 big dogs with us (2 being 100+ pound bully’s & the other being about 60 pounds doodle) we had stakes with leads on them and it was the perfect area for us to have them. The cabin was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably! He keeps little trash bags to pick up after your pups if you forget bags. I would definitely recommend staying here! Tim is very nice & makes sure you have everything you may need. He was very helpful with any questions we had, and has recommendations if you are looking for something specific to do. The bed was very comfortable, we were worried as we have stayed in some air bnbs with some of the worst beds but his is so comfortable we were able to get right to sleep! The bathroom is a portable toilet with an outdoor sink, if anyone was curious. We had a great time & totally recommend, especially for those with dogs who need somewhere for them to be able to have some room!

We enjoyed the quiet and all the birds that Merlin heard at Rob’s camp. The Shasta trailer was nice they even provided a welcoming bottle of wine. The drinking water was incredibly good right out of the tap and we filled our water bottles for each day. The outdoor kitchen worked out great and was cool and comfortable. Well worth it.

This stay was everything we hoped for and more! The peaceful setting, stunning views, and warm, welcoming hosts made our visit truly special. The RV was perfectly equipped with all the comforts of home—air conditioning, coffee, and even cozy extra blankets for those cooler nights. A true glamping experience. Every detail felt intentional, from the beautiful glass art to the lovingly maintained gardens. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating such a serene and inviting space. If you're looking for that classic "up north" experience without being too far from the city, this is the perfect spot. Just 30 minutes from Traverse City and about an hour from Petoskey, it offers the best of both worlds. We can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to The Vine Wilderness Glamping

This was a dream place for those who want to be one with nature and still have comfort. The accommodations were spacious and the amenities were plentiful. Definitely off the beaten path (Don't bring a sporty car) but the site was worth every penny. I came there with my three adult sons, and had plenty of room with the yurt, my youngest is 6'5" and never had to duck anywhere in it. The cots/futon/bed were comfortable, lighting around the campsite enhanced the atmosphere. Honestly, whether it's a boys weekend, family trip, or romantic getaway this has the capability to satisfy your needs. Don't let this one pass you by.

Cute and private little cabin, with very kind and helpful owners. The property felt like an adorable glamping situation with everything a couple could need, including a hassle free outdoor shower and outhouse. They provided plenty of wood for nightly campfires, linens and soaps, coffee, water and more. The back side of the cabin opens to a lovely, private tree covered area with a babbling brook and gorgeous scenery. Connie and Dave were very helpful with suggesting activities and restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend this property and plan to be back in the future!

I rented out Melissa's RV for a annual weekend guys retreat with some highschool friends (were in our mid-30s now). It turned out to be one of the BEST camping experiences yet. The spot is very secluded and the site has everything you can imagine. There was unlimited firewood, propane and a grill, tons of kitchen supplies (silverware, plates, cups), chairs and table, a full bathroom with shower and toliet, a fridge and sink, full sized beds, and even AIR CONDITIONING. It was super close to the dam which was an amazing fishing spot and hiking spot. The liquor store close by is great too. I would recommend this spot to the highest degree if you are looking to step up regular car and tent camping.

Our property was originally the only homestead on this road. WE offer 4 Walk in Tent sites and a RV site for small campers up 20 ft.- 20 Amp service Only!!! WE also have a 59 Vintage Shasta that rents nightly up to 3 nites The big barn was built over 100 years ago and is still standing. The farm house was built in 1907. It has been remodeled with a second story added. Pine trees were planted to prevent erosion in the 1960's. The national park began buying land near us in the 1970's and the boundary line to the park is a half-mile from Moonshadow Camp. The area is surrounded by state forests and many hiking and biking trails. Our valley is known for incredible stargazing. Amenities include full access to the Camp kitchen and dining area. You will also have access to a Portable restroom and hand washing station which is located by our BIG BARN. Hot Showers, no problem, you can enjoy a secluded private shower in our shower house which has indoor and outdoor showers. Nearby is Lake Michigan and Esch Rd beach. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake shore is nearby and The National Park is famous for attractions , trails, and hiking. Electricity and water is included at the RV site, and the Shasta Camper along with the Showerhouse and Camp Kitchen

Hosting May 22 -Nov 2nd. My husband Dan and I purchased this property 5 years ago and have totally restored the land, home and barn from its prior condition. Consequently, if you view the various on line satellite images be advised they are out of date and do not reflect the love we have put into our sanctuary. We are retired and live here with our two standard poodles Mila and Indiana. The property is 5 acres, mostly meadow with a maple grove as well as a wooded ravine. We have planted various fruit trees, cherries, apples, peach as well as pears. We also have a small grape and berry patch which is next to our vintage trailer. There is also an old abandoned trail through the forest that makes for a nice walk. Our location is convenient to Traverse City, Alden, Belaire, Kalkaska as well as the equestrian center and the casino in Williamsburg. There are various places to eat/drink within close proximity as well as places to purchase fuel, groceries and liquor. Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas are a convenient drive where you can visit the many vineyards, orchards and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the lake and bays, or shop some of the unique stores and galleries. There are many off road vehicle and bike trails that are not far away as well. As well as boating on beautiful Torch Lake and the chain of lakes. A day trip to Sleeping Bear dunes is well worth the drive. We would be happy to make suggestions on activities, dining, entertainment during your stay. We currently have three sites which are on seperate areas of the property. Lake View site is a Vintage 1985 Avion travel trailer which as been completely renovated with all new systems. It is located with a western view of Lake Skegemog and next to our grape and berry patch in our back yard. Maple Grove site is a new Coachmen Catalina Destination series RV. It is located on the front side of the property next to the maple tree grove. Lavender Lane is located in front of our barn with a view of our small orchard and the forest, close to the walking trail. All our sites are fully outfitted with quality linens, towels, dishes and cooking equipment. All of the units have Air Conditioned and heat.

Peaceful setting on 40 wooded acres that is located at the end of two county roads with virtually no traffic. Upon arriving at the property, you will enter through a gate and arrive to the secluded camp area with a beautiful, cozy full log cabin. *Please note the directions begin at the Shell Station (102 South Michigan Avenue, Manton, MI 49663) because the cabin doesn't have a physical address.* We're happy to meet you and guide you right to it! The cabin has propane lighting, propane refrigerator, an antique stove with burner tops, and a free-standing propane gas stove for crisp evenings. There is a small kitchen area with a sleeping loft above and a sitting/family area at the far end of the cabin. The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, coffee pot, dishes, and misc. utensils. *Please bring your own linens, pillows, and water. On the backside of the cabin, you'll find a peaceful sitting area with a firepit. When nature calls, there is a well-built outhouse that is available. You won't find a more peaceful, tranquil property to relax in and enjoy the wildlife. Only 1.3 miles into Manton with several bars and restaurants. Within 3 miles you are able to gain access to State property, the Manistee River, and Chase Creek. From the trails in this area you can go as far as Houghton Lake and Fife Lake. Great area for hunting, fishing, four wheeling, dirt bikes, and hiking. This is a great getaway you don't want to miss out on!
