Greetings and Welcome to our Beautiful Herbal Gardens! There are currently 2 grassy spaces for tent camping, 1 rustic area for car, van or camper stays and one small cabin. Tent campers park on street. 2 people per site, (open to discuss) no guests. Check in is 2pm. (please indicate estimated arrival time as we will need to be present to show you in) Check out is 12pm sharp. 4 nights max. Very nice and clean outdoor composting toilet. Outdoor rainwater shower during warmer months. Soap provided only. No offsite wood permitted, no foraging for wood on site, burning of trash or burning outside of designated area. If you would like to purchase a bundle of wood to have a fire, you can find that option under "extras". WE CAN NOT ACCOMMODATE DOGS AT THIS TIME. Our space is a shared sanctuary. Please remain clothed and quiet. If you would like to book a Reiki, Tarot or Massage session or visit our Herbal Hutt Shop during your stay, please request during booking or check our "extras" list. Our farm is 15 acres of a mix between wetland, open fields, and woods. In the spring there is a small creek that flows from the wetland. In the winter, the wetland freezes over for added adventure. We have 12 chickens on site, 2 hoop houses, perennial berry bushes, grape vines, and seasonal veggies. Within 20 minutes of our property there are dozens of options for hiking and mountain bike trails, lakes, rivers, restaurants, museums, and more! There are boat slips with shore power for your fishing boat. You can also fish directly off our dock. Hop in your kayak and paddle all around the shoreline. Our one-bedroom and loft units make for the perfect fishing vacation rental. Located directly on Lake St. Clair and across the street from St John’s Marsh you are surrounded by nature. Bring the boat or the kayaks! A boat slip with shore power is also included with our waterfront units. The huge yard, dock, fire pit on Lake St. Clair, and patio area allow plenty of options for relaxing. FISHING RIGHT OFF THE DOCK! Every unit comes with an optional boat slip with power. Plenty of parking for your boat trailer. Amenities Free WiFi and air conditioning are included in each unit as well as dishes,a coffee maker, a microwave, towels, linens, and a hair dryer. Our property is a small private campground. We have 30/20 amp electricity and water on each site. A dump station is available. We are in a suburban location that we describe as countryish. The campground is a park like setting with mature trees. The grounds are mostly shady with some areas of sun. We have a large community fire pit. We wouldn't describe our location as a place that you would want to camp at for an extended period. Our place would be a good place to try out sleeping in an RV. You can rent one of ours and stay in it a night or two to see if you like the idea of RV camping. Our place would be a great spot to stop off at for a night while passing through or attending a nearby event.
