"Elysium Heritage Farm" is situated on 120 acres in Northeast, MI surrounded by woods, trails, ponds and canals. Enjoy access to a small farm that includes fainting goats, chickens, emu, rabbits, and more. Bring your pole and try your luck at some catch and release fishing. Enjoy viewing numerous types of wildflowers, birds, and butterflies. Depending on the season, (and how quietly you walk the trails) you may experience a wide variety of wildlife species. Although we don't allow motorized ATVs, you are welcome to bring a golf cart. Most of the trails are improved enough to allow you access. Absolutely NO hunting allowed on the property. The property is located just (5) miles off I-75 so it's also a convenient mid-trip destination for those on a longer distance excursion. In case you plan on fishing the local hotspots on Lake Huron (15 minutes away) and are trailering a boat, there is plenty of area to park your rig during your stay. It's only a ten-minute drive to Pinconning, where you can experience Michigan's "Cheese Town" and all it has to offer. There's a grocery store, numerous cheese shops, and a variety of party stores and restaurants. For the outdoor enthusiasts, don't miss out on going to the ever-famous "Northwoods Wholesale Outlet". Also nearby is the "Saganing Eagles Landing Casino" in Standish. We have resided here for over 30 years and can assist you in many ways to get the most out of your visit. By the way, the definition of the word "Elysium" is "Place of perfect bliss" and yes, we labeled it that long before the movie with Matt Damon was created.

This property was once part of an 80 acre farm. It has now grown into a mature forest with deer, turkey, squirrels, chipmunks, many types of songbirds and most recently a family of sandhill cranes. Our most recent improvement is an air conditioner in the Crow's Nest. Sheila grew up just across the road and spent many hours riding her horse and writing poetry on the property. No discharge of firearms is allowed on this property. As a retired artist, we love to entertain creative peaceful people and many think of our place as a quiet sanctuary that encourages creativity. We provide games, both outdoor and indoor, a screen house, hammock, nature trails and a new camp store with local items and snacks. There is an Amish community close by and a tour map is provided. We are also close to the largest canopy walk in the US at Whiting Forest and Dow Gardens. Only 25 minutes away. There is a small water park in the closest town with a beach. Locally there is tubing and canoeing at the Cedar River in Gladwin and kayaking at Pinconning Park on Saginaw Bay. Guests can explore many antique shops as well as Pinconna and Northwoods Outlet store. Many of our campers never leave the property but choose to relax and watch the life of the forest. We provide linens, towels, and cookware. There is a grill outside and a microwave and oven inside along with a coffee maker and mini fridge.

Located in Clare county, Harrison is surrounded by 20 lakes within 20 minutes. Harrison is also known for its large amount of state land for recreational activities all year round. We are across the street from Little Long lake and right up the road from Budd Lake public boat launches. We have deeded lake access to Little Long Lake with use of our paddle boat and kayaks. We can provide parking with a boat, trailer, etc., but will need to be arranged prior to check-in. There are several restaurants, delivery options, and a grocery store right down the road. There is also a putt putt golf, skiing and snow tubing at Snow Snake, arcade, batting cages, bowling, indoor golf, ax throwing, beaches and Wilson State Park. If you have side-by-sides, quads, jeeps, snowmobiles, or dirt bikes, there are endless options with groomed trails in the area for you to ride all day long. Our property has two cabins on property, the Harrison Hideaway cabin and Wanderer's Hideaway that can be rented together for larger groups or rented separately. Please message me if you would like to rent both cabins for you and your guests. We are new to this process and want to make you and your guest feel accommodated with a 5 Star stay.

Because of the highway, it is not quiet, yet it's still a special Rustic-Chic Farm Stay is 5 minutes from Bishop Airport (FNT) 5 Minutes from Planet Fitness for showers. Not a whole house stay since I access the garage through the back door of the laundry room when needed. 2 Bedrooms: Full-size bed and Twin-size bed Kitchen: Fully equipped Proximity: 10 minutes to hospitals, including Hurley, McLaren Flint, and Henry Ford, convenient for traveling nurses. 1 hr 15 min to DTW. This home is adjacent to our gardens, chickens, and fruit trees, and guests are welcome to explore. The space It has a small front yard but a nice covered front porch to sit on with your morning coffee. The backyard is a large grassed area with a patio and sitting area. Guest access Our guests have access to the living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, covered front porch, and backyard as well. Other things to note I've put a lot of love into the home, and I hope you sense it as well as respect it. I'm hoping my guest will keep it like new for future guests. No smoking or vaping inside the house. There's a bucket outside the back porch for buds.

My wife and I are slowly starting up our own little farm. We have 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, a dog, chickens and lots of ducks. We also starting a business called River’s Edge Lavender which will be a upick lavender and wild flower farm. We are on 34 acres and have a river that runs through the middle of it. We are 10 minutes from Alma and 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant. Lumberjack park is about 2 minutes away and Stearns preserve is about 5 mins away where you can walk or ride bike on a nice paved trail. We have a small garden that we plant every summer that we use to stock our farm stand. Our farm stand provides veggies (when ready), chicken and ducks eggs, handmade crafts and items from our River’s Edge Lavender business. We are in a quiet area with lots of wildlife. We have 1 spot near the house with a view of the river that can support electric hook for a smaller RV and can attach a garden hose for water if needed. No public restroom available. We can also provide some fire wood for campfires for a cost that is located on the farm stand . Along the river fires are allowed but must be contained in a fire ring. If camping by the field fires will be dependent on conditions. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe that can be used with prior consent. There is a park up river where you can put in and then can exit at our house which is about an hour on the river. We are new to hosting so please provide us with feedback! We are working on the campsites so suggestions are welcome to what can make it better. A porta potty will be available in the future. Quiet time 11 pm. We are an easy going couple that just want to share this slice of paradise with others! WiFi available

We absolutely loved staying at Nature's nest cabin, the A Frame cabin itself was great, very cool interior space. The view onto the lake was spectacular. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being nestled in the trees was a cherished respite for us on our Spirit Walk. Sheila and Jeff were on the property to welcome us on arrival which was really nice. Their sweet cat supervised as we settled in. We were visited by chipmunks, squirrels, crows, and deer during our stay. 3 nights at "Elysium Heritage Farm"

We had such a great time and would definitely comeback for longer next time . Kim was very welcoming and let us come on her property to see the animals and gave as backstory on how this property has come to be what it is today. Such a beautiful spot and a cozy cabin. Kim was very responsive and had everything we needed to have a relaxing and peaceful trip. 10/10

Beautiful peaceful, quiet, private surrounded by lots of nature. The hosts are very generous and welcoming; the cabin is clean, comfortable, and cozy. Love all the art on the trails and property. So lovely we never left the place the couple of days we were there, and definitely plan to go back!

The Crows Nest is a beautiful cabin on land surrounded by forest and nature that offers lots of peace and quiet. The hosts Sheila and Jeff are very generous with their hospitality. There’s lovely art, comforts and coziness inside the cabin as well as on the surrounding land. We loved our 2 night stay and plan to come back. Thank you Sheila and Jeff!

Great hosts! Cabin was clean and had a lovely vibe! Really appreciate the provided grill and other amenities. Really enjoyed walking the trail and all the deer and other wildlife we saw. So nice to get away and recharge and ground ourselves!

Sheila was so inviting and kind ❤️ if I could leave 10 stars I definitely would! The crows nest immediately felt like home away from home and we hated to leave. Got to see lots of wildlife on the property which was such a cool bonus! We will definitely be returning in the near future!
