Located in Clare county, Harrison is surrounded by 20 lakes within 20 minutes. Harrison is also known for its large amount of state land for recreational activities all year round. We are right down the road from Little Long lake and Budd Lake public boat launches. We have deeded lake access to Little Long Lake with use of our paddle boat and kayaks. We can provide parking with a boat, trailer, etc., but will need to be arranged prior to check-in. There are several restaurants, delivery options, and a grocery store right down the road. There is also a putt putt golf, skiing and snow tubing at Snow Snake, arcade, batting cages, bowling, indoor golf, ax throwing, beaches and Wilson State Park. If you have side-by-sides, quads, jeeps, snowmobiles, or dirt bikes, there are endless options with groomed trails in the area for you to ride all day long. We have two cabins, the Harrison Hideaway cabin and Wanderer's Hideaway that can be rented together for larger groups or rented separately. Please message me if you would like to rent both cabins for you and your guests. We are new to this process and want to make you and your guest feel accommodated with a 5 Star stay.

Cindy is a very thoughtful and thorough host! The property is incredible and comes loaded with games and amenities. This would be a lovely getaway for a group or family, including your fur babies.

Wanderer's Hideaway

Wanderers Hideaway was a cute and cozy place with the most fitting name! My boyfriend and I both thought it was the perfect place for a simple weekend stay with a taste of the outdoors. The electric fireplace maintained the cozy and comforting vibe especially during the winter, and having a small kitchenette was very useful for making our meals! Cindy and Travis have a very well thought out little place, with a cute guestbook everyone should make sure they sign!!

Imagine a cabin that feels like a warm hug in the middle of a winter wonderland—that's Twin Peaks by the Lake Retreat for you! Our adventure kicked off with a potential reservation hiccup, but Cindy, the superhero owner, swooped in and saved the day with her incredible patience and kindness. This isn't just a cabin; it's a portal to winter magic. We spent our days ice fishing on the frozen Little Long Lake and Budd Lake and unleashing our inner kids on the epic backyard sledding hill. The laughter echoed louder than the crackling fireplace, and every moment felt like a perfect snapshot of family fun. Cozy? More like ridiculously comfortable. Homey? It felt like we'd discovered our second home. When it was time to leave, we all wore the same pouty face—wishing we could press pause and stay just a little bit longer. If winter dreams had an address, it would be Twin Peaks by the Lake Retreat. Five stars, zero regrets, 100% magic! ❄️🏔️🛷

We had a very nice stay! The cabin had everything we needed and it gave our family plenty of space. The living room was very cozy with the fireplace. The large fenced in backyard was a definitely a bonus so our fur babies could run around and not have to be on a leash or tied up. We would definitely stay here again.

Best cabin around!!

Harrison Hideaway

This surpasses any expectations I have had as far as cabins!! It’s so cozy, yet filled with thoughtful amenities and unexpected surprises lol truly. It’s just beautiful and the bed is soooo comfortable. The cabin had plenty of room for families and located so close to the lake. I had one of my best stays here and Cindy and Travis are the most awesome hosts you will ever find. It’s very clean, well maintained and easy to find. Plan a long stay. You won’t want to leave!! A+++++
