Great place to stay. Lots of room to set up and play. The lower section is a great bonus with river access. The river was cool and refreshing as temps were in the high 80's.

The view is amazing. When we needed fire wood, Nick and Theresa were there to deliver it within 30 mins. We had a bit of rain but still had an amazing time. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

The site is exceptionally spacious, with more than enough room to spread out comfortably. It is open and offers great views. There is little shade at midday, but the trees along the sides provide some welcome relief in the morning and later afternoon.
The road noise was a little more noticeable than I expected, and traffic is visible through the trees on one side of the site. That said, the noise died down considerably at night and did not disturb my sleep at all.
One of the best features of this site is the choice between this large, open site and another site closer to the river's edge. The riverside option is tucked in among the trees and is noticeably quieter than the site above. A wagon is not essential, but it may be worth bringing one to carry your gear down the hill.
The hosts were accommodating and communicated well throughout the stay. I would gladly return.

We had a great time tent camping on Nick and Teresa’s land, it was well kept and such a great location. The walk down to the dock to get into the river was the best for the Memorial Day heat.

Nice level groomed spot & Private.
Close enough to town to grab a bite to eat. The stream looked very clean though it was too cold to go in at the time we stayed there.
Perfect stop in for an Rv or even a pop up.

We absolutely loved our stay at boondock ridge!! It's a beautiful piece of property! I love how there's 2 different areas and each has its own fire pit and the top one, has wide open space for the kiddos and animals to run and enjoy! Love the little stream at the lower camp site.

What a great spot! There is 2 sites essentially one you can’t drive too but it’s right on the river and a great walking path down, we did our 1st night camping up top with the river view, then carried all our stuff down and did day 2 down below, it was a great weekend sun was shining we had a bit of rain but nothing crazy! Great hosts very accommodating and so nice we even got to stay a little longer since we had a later arrival than expected! Thank you guys again and totally recommend for your next camp!

Loved camping here, there was a ton of room for our big rig with lots of room for our dog to play catch. This Hipcamp has been our favorite so far. There were many things that was awesome about this site but what stood out was the grass was mowed, there's a big fire pit, a garbage bin, an artesian well, a well built dock, your on the river, not to mention your close to a Dollar General if you forgot something, which we did. If you don't mind driving 10-30 min there's hiking, golf course, restaurants, snowmobile trails and more. The only thing with this site, was the traffic was constant until about 9-10 pm, other than that it was great, we will definitely be back!

Everything went great and was amazing! Truly such an amazing site, options for where to set up camp, by a river it was so nice and relaxing! We will definitely be back again!! Recommend 10/10! One of the cleanest and well kept places we have camped! The stars you can see at night were insane. The first night we stayed it was unbelievable how dark that area gets, so many stars!!

Enjoyed our weekend stay, weather was lovely for April. Bathroom is very well done, clean and well decorated w/ a handsome 6 point euro mount. Top of the ridge vista is well appointed with an upgraded fire pit, picnic table, and bench seat.
Down hill along a short path is a nice dock along the river. Didn't catch any fish, maybe next time!

You can tell they take pride in their spot! You can’t get a better bathroom experience for an outhouse. Lovely fire pit, great little two person bench. Very well maintained. We are looking forward to returning!

This is such a nice boondocking spot. The spring water and clean bathroom make it easier to stay for longer periods of time. I really appreciated the option to pay for firewood delivery as well. I enjoyed wading in the river and watching the sun set over the trees.

This was our 3rd stay at Boondock, the property was beautiful as usual! The mosquitoes are killer though so come with lots of spray, lanterns etc. Then kids liked walking up the river and floating back 😄

I enjoyed my stay at Boondock Ridge. I solo camped in my tear drop camper. This was my first Hipcamp. The host made everything clear on how to get to the site, had a pile of wood waiting for me under a tarp tucked under some trees and also recommended some areas to ride my bike. (which I didn't do because I got a flat in my bike tire! LOL)
The site was perfect! The views were great. the site overlooks the river which was clear with a sandy bottom. A short walk down to my own personal dock with a ladder to get into the water. Which was very helpful because I have bad knees and legs. The site had a fire pit, picnic table and a 2 person bench over looking the river. Great for relaxing and just enjoying the sites and sounds. The compost toilet was very nice. i never used one before. The toilet was tucked away in the woods, clean and very well kept.
I seen 2 rabbits, 4 chickens (on the side of the road) and a couple bumble bees that were having a great time in those flowers. The night time was alive with sounds of nature! good stuff.
I had to leave early due to a family emergency but will for sure be back for another stay. Thank you Nick and Teresa.

This was our third time staying at Boondock Ridge and we had a great time just like the other two.
We brought binoculars and we saw some amazing birds like a bald eagle, green heron, American redstart, gray catbird, rose breasted grosbeak, and the usual blue jays. I would highly recommend bringing binoculars and watching over that ridge.

The place was very nice and exactly as described! I wish there was a little less road noise, as it’s pretty loud with all the cars passing and the roadside park being right across the street. Other then that the dock and amenities provided was excellent.

Great spot! There is road noise but the tree lines make it feel private and the view is as pictured.
Bathroom facility super tidy and well stocked. Wood delivery was speedy and our dogs loved having the space to themselves. We would highly recommend this camp!
