Heavily wooded forest with pine, maple, oak and birch. Undeveloped and quiet. The property is home to numerous bird species, deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Occasional howls from distant coyotes and infrequent raccoons.
The campsites are located on a hill dominated by tall pines overlooking the east facing property. Secluded, but only a 700 feet from the main residence. Only 1 1/2 miles P.J Hoffmaster's State Park and a 10 minutes ride to Grand Haven State Park/Lake Michigan.
Campsites are rustic but we provide camp toilets, a picnic table and a waste container. Fresh water is available at the barn. We also provide a shelter (Gazebo) with picnic tables and a charcoal park grille. A large community fire pit is available with wood provided for a small cost ($5 per bundle - cash or Venmo) by the hosts. A rinse off station has been recently added located next to the barn!
The RV site is located by the barn and has 20amp electric service.
When arriving please drive to the end of the driveway towards the last house. The Flipside Acres sign will be on your right side. Drive down the gravel entrance and park where indicated by the red barn.
All sites are a short walk from the parking area (500ft) and carts are provided for your use. If needed, we can also provide transportation using our UTV. Tent sites are not accessible by car.
We also offer free coffee at the Gazebo near the barn and have recently added a rinse off station as well featuring a limited supply of warm water!

2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres, owned and run by Julie & Theresa Graham. We are 13 minutes from South Haven and Lake Michigan, 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo and just under an hour from Grand Rapids.
Those of you who have visited in the past will notice that we significantly downsized this year. Due to Township and State regulations, we are now limited to offering only four campsites unless we get licensed, which at this time is cost prohibitive. So, we have selected the four most highly rated sites and upgraded them, to truly make your experience here special.
About half of the 20 acres is wooded, with walking trails around the property, to include our fish stocked pond and a little tributary of the Black River.
All sites have a fire ring, or metal fire pit, and picnic table.
We have an outdoor propane shower that provides both hot and cold water.
A free refreshment bar is available 24/7. Feeling a little peckish before breakfast, or after dinner? Help yourself to a snack and a hot or cold drink.
You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (for a fee).
We are a working farm and registered as two Non-Profits. One an animal rescue, primarily working with cats. At any given day we have 20-30 cats roaming around the farm. All are under the care of our vet, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and treated for fleas and ticks. All important because they will want to interact with you. Some will want to sleep with you.
Our 100 plus flock of poultry, comprised of chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys, free range during the day, so leave the Prada's at home.
If you are staying at Sam's Place, your closest neighbors will Penelope and Petunia, our two female sister pigs. The prevailing winds are down from your site, but you may hear them squabble. Our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats will love your attention and treats we can provide. Arriving in March is Jack, a miniature donkey...we are very excited!
Please try to check-in by 8pm. Exceptions can be made. There are locally mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat). Hanging out by a fire and chatting is fine.

We are located along the North Country Trail and only a few blocks from their office as well as walking distance from the Kent county youth fairgrounds

We have 2 parcels of land. Each would be just for you and only you. It's like having your very own private property when you are here.
One parcel has only 1 RV site with a cement pad, parallel to the river. Can accommodate 1 RV up to 30' (NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee.
At the far west end of the property is our second parcel with 1 very large grassy RV site along the river with 30 amp and standard 110 electric and water. RV up to 30' (NO Class A's). Pump out is available for a fee.

Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets.
Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore.
Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Experience the beauty of Michigan’s outdoors! As the largest parcel of private land within the Allegan State Game Area (we own 31), the property is surrounded by 50,000 acres of beautiful wilderness. Direct access to a seasonal road, adjacent to the DNR headquarters and many trailheads. Miles of trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.
Allegan county allows ATV usage on county and seasonal roads (with appropriate permit sticker), you can drive for miles on your own or join a community ride!
Hunting or exploring is not permitted on our property, but you are welcome to rest and relax in our sites and then adventure into state game land during hunting season. The deer are our friends and we want them to see this property as a safe haven.

My family and I have lived here for 25 years.
I grow hay and have a small orchard.
At one point we were USDA certified organic and probably still meet the criteria.
We like the country life and room for the animals to wander.

Dreamland and Paige were both lovely. As we were driving out, my girls asked "can we stay here again next time?!" Tent was spacious and access to indoor toilet and shower were awesome.

Dreamland is the exact right name for this place! It is so beautiful!! We rented the yurts which our teenagers loved, they are in the woods shaded and have electric for fans, super comfortable and plenty of room to stand up and move around. Lots of room for Frisbee and corn hole (which Paige provided for us) in the yard. A string of lights keeps the camp lit and adds a beautiful touch. There is a fire pit and wood rack with chopped wood. The garden is absolutely gorgeous to walk through or sit in the hammock and look at. We all fell in love with Henry (their golden retriever) and the chickens were fun to watch hunting around for bugs. Private bathroom with a toilet and shower added some comforts to camping. The breakfast room is so cute with fresh coffee every morning, and an extra treat of danishes/donuts was a wonderful surprise. Logan and Paige were so kind and welcoming ❤️ I cannot say enough about our stay.. it was perfect

Flipside Acres was the perfect camping spot for our family of four. We were looking for a quiet, secluded site away from RVs and generators, and this exceeded our expectations. Vicki and Bob were wonderful hosts—they gave us a tour, made us feel welcome, and were available if we needed anything.
The campsite was peaceful, heavily wooded, and surprisingly comfortable. They spray for mosquitoes, so with a little bug spray and a Thermacell, bugs were never an issue. Even the toilet situation was much better than we expected—definitely preferable to a typical porta-potty.
The location was another big plus: it felt private and secluded while still being only about 10 minutes from Grand Haven and North Beach. We’d gladly stay here again.

This sweet campsite is easy to find. It is basic, and just off the road, but there is hardly any traffic. Having water and firewood available was very handy. The local towns were fun and there is nearby access to the lake for swimming and paddling

Erin’s campsite was very cute, rustic & exactly as described. If you’re looking for a simple, peaceful backwoods spot to stay near Saugatuck / Douglas, I would definitely give her spot a look. I also had a change of plans during my stay and she was very kind & communicative and made my trip a lot less stressful. Thank you!

Bob and Vicki are great hosts, very accommodating, warm welcoming, fun, fine folks!
Their property is something else! 40 acres of beautiful forest. You'll be surprised by deer passing through the site, wild turkeys and black squirrels! It's clean, well menaged and organized.

Private and secluded site surrounded by vegetation. We had a lovely experience, the site was spacious, private (just a short drive into some cute towns) and had beautiful sunsets. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Their horses were sociable and beautiful. We enjoyed getting to feed them snacks and give them some nose rubs. It is very apparent the host family cares a great deal for them. All around a very pleasant experience.

Weekend Trip to Dreamland Of MI
Paige's Dreamland Glamping site is a standout! The spacious tent is comfortably and prettily furnished. The guest wing is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The garden and meadow was wonderful to view and experience. Location is also prime, with amazing beach access (Paige has a special recommendation), good restaurants, parks and downtown Montague/Whitehall all within ~10 minutes. We already plan to come back again :)

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this treehouse is hard to beat. We loved exploring the nearby trails, and spending time in the beautiful hemlock fern gully, it felt like stepping into a hidden forest oasis. The treehouse itself was a unique and memorable place to stay, making the whole experience feel special.

Nadia has a Great spot! This place has showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, lockers, a full blown kitchen and community space, AND land! The camping areas are super cute and useful. Hammocks and yard games provided. The community fire pit had to be our favorite part of our one night stay. We met so many cool and friendly people from all over the country and world. Stories were told, music was played, snacks and other goodies were passed around and everyone was polite and respectful. Super Queer friendly! Just a short drive to multiple beaches and the downtown area (10 min away!) This hostel is awesome.
Nadia has a good thing going! Can’t wait to see what future projects for her hold. Definitely plan on staying here again.
