I absolutely loved this Hostel, the owners were super friendly and the entire place had an amazing community vibe. I would definitely recommend going if you want to rest in the area!

Looked like a truck stop bathhouse from outside. Too much road noise. Should have given it a chance just couldn't.

Hostel SoHa is such a great place. I had a tent site in the grass and it was perfect. The hostel is clean, well kept and centrally located. The fire pit is awesome and I met some really cool other travelers there at the evening fire. Nadia is a great hostess. I highly recommend this place.

Great place! Nadia, the owner, lives onsite and is both friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the safari tents, but the indoor sleeping pods looked really well done and comfy as well. It was a great option to have a tent all set up with beds and linens - the tent was comfortable and roomy for 2 people.
Facilities are high quality and in great shape. Big, new kitchen. Lounge area with video game console. The game/activity center is an old church with ping pong and pool table where the pews used to be. Great sunken fire pit being built - functional and we sat by the communal fire both nights we were there, but it is going to get even prettier and nicer as they finish it. People were friendly but respectful. Great laundry facilities and really nice showers as well.
Also right on the edge of town - easy bike ride or drive, and you could certainly walk it if you wanted to. Being so close to town does mean there is road noise all night, but not from a big highway, just the local road and I popped in some ear plugs and slept like a log.
Besides the permanent tents, there is also a very large yard for personal tents and sounds like they are clearing more secluded sites further back in the woods.

While the outside space was lovely and easy to locate, it’s right next to a main road which made sleeping difficult. Additionally, there is a fridge and indoor toilets which were a definite perk when I was looking for a place but there was mold growing on the inside of the fridge and the toilets. It wasn’t a totally bad experience but I personally wouldn’t stay here again. I ended up leaving after my first night and going somewhere else.

I loved tend camping at Nadia’s Hostel. I went there twice just in the same month, Nadia is a very welcome and warm hostess, always making fun things to keep the hostel and campers community accommodated, gather and entertainment. If you are young or have a young soul, I definitely recommend this place.

We had a combined bachelor/ bachelorette here on Fourth of July weekend. This was our first time here and I would highly recommend if you are down to earth and want a communal feel. Made some good friends here!All the activities allowed the guys and girls to split off and do their own thing. Thank you for having us!

the safari tent was really nice!! bathrooms were nice and the tiling was beautiful. Big below ground fire pit. Seems like a lot of love was put into the space. Cultivated a generous community

Was such a fun experience. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and it was a great time. Nadia was such a great host that was very friendly that wants to create a great community with everyone who comes. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to meet new people and have new experiences. Will definitely be back this summer.

The good: super nice people. Nice fire pit and I am sure the hostel will be amazing when it’s finished.
The bad: the property is more or less nestled in between two heavily trafficked roads (even if you just see one of them). It was extremely loud and did not get better at night. Even with earplugs inside our RV I didn’t sleep well. For that reason I wouldn’t stay again.

An unexpected decision led to the best decision I could've made. This place shows the heart and soul of an incredible person and their passion of hospitality. The host is very accommodating. They made sure everyone needs are met and goes above and beyond for their guests. The place has a vision one that is beautiful and an honor to stay at. If you're crossing through South Haven this is the place to go. A place where travelers meet others, share their journey and dreams that leave an imprint for a lifetime.

Pros: the hosts and other guests were really cool and the firepit and benches and indoor bathroom were nice
Cons: you cant tell from the pictures but its right next to a pretty busy road so didn’t feel as naturey as what we were looking for
But if youre looking for a cheap place to stay in south haven & meet some cool people this is a great option!

Site was great for car camping - just parked in the lot and slept in my car. It was great to have a nice bathroom available whenever I needed it! And the location is great, under 10min from South Haven and the beach. The host and other visitors were very kind, and there were multiple opportunities for social events - unfortunately I couldn't participate much this time because I was busy with other plans. Overall, a lot of value for such a small price!

We had an amazing experience tent camping at the SoHa Hostel! Nadia and the SoHa crew were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds were peaceful and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing night under the stars. The hostel's location is ideal—close to downtown South Haven and the beach, which made our stay even better. We loved the sense of community at SoHa and appreciated the cozy, laid-back atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable place to stay.

Everything couldn't have been more perfect! We are "alone" campers, older, and set in our ways. Since we decided at the last minute to camp Labor Day Weekend, the State & National Parks were full up. That's how I discovered HipCamp. Nadia's "ad" came up first and we decided to step out of our comfort zone and check it out - actually interact with other campers! It was MARVELOUS! Fun dinners & campfires, good music, good talks. People from all over the country, and world, sitting together, drinking, laughing, everybody feeling good and no arguments of any kind! Nadia could NOT have been kinder or more welcoming. The indoor plumbing was a BIG PLUS! Also the coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and pool & ping pong tables. And if you're still a "lone" camper, the tents were far enough from each other so if you wanted solitude, you could have that too. The best of both worlds!

I love this place and the vibes here! I was definitely skeptical as most probably are if you’re reading this, but for $15 you can’t beat it! The saying it’s too good to be true doesn’t apply with this deal. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Just needed a place to crash, this was an easy transaction and it was so nice to have running water & facilities to wake up to. The camp fire area is set up cute & relaxing. If you stay here, please be mindful of others sleeping here. The guy I parked beside was in & out of his van, slamming doors, singing & talking to himself past midnight. It’s close quarters, be respectful.

We had such an amazing time. Nadia has created a super welcoming atmosphere. There's plenty of space to set up camp, the location is in easy biking distance of downtown south haven and the beach, and we ended the evening with a community meal around the fire. This is a really special spot and we will definitely be back!
