The beach is often the main attraction in Grand Haven and offers soft golden sands-so take a stroll, build a sand castle or just sit back and enjoy the view of Lake Michigan. There are over 100 miles of bike paths throughout the area. Popular paths and trails run along the Lake Michigan shoreline on Lakeshore Drive between Grand Haven and Holland, circling Spring Lake, and along the Grand River to Eastmanville. Grand Haven offers one of the largest charter boat fishing fleets on Lake Michigan. The seasoned charter boat captains and their crews can provide everything from licenses to lunch-even clean and ice your catch-so all you have to do is come aboard and enjoy the day. 2 Miles from Spring Lake. Close to Contastoga camp grounds on Grand River. Quiet groomed sites for camper or tent. Fire pit and wood provided. Pets allowed. Please make sure to pick up after them.Bike trail within walking distance. Fern Gully Camp
The spot was just what we needed for our small camper. We had everything we needed and the location was great for the plans we had. Sandy was a great host. Highly recommend!

Pretty wooded lot but not private
Overall we had a good experience but unfortunately our site was immediately across from another semi-permanent site and camper/tenant. The host was great but we had cars and trucks coming and going from the home and our neighbor. I just expected more privacy given the description and our conversation.

Camping at Fern Gully is a must! Sandy is a wonderful host and the land is beautiful. We were a little worried the highway would be too noisy but you rarely even notice it’s close by. For our first camping trip, we couldn’t ask for a better host!

Such an awesome spot! Would return anytime. Sandy is an amazing host, and keep your eyes open for the comedic goat next door, worth the visit just for his antics.

Sandy was extremely accommodating and kind to us! Convenient electrical hookup too! Beautiful property under large trees and a perfect doable drive from Pere Marquette!

Adorable sites with an AMAZING Host
Sandy is the best host we have ever had! Her hospitality and kindness was truly above and beyond. She will make sure everyone has what they need and that they are satisfied. She beat any VRBO, AirBnB, or Hipcamp host we have had. She has the cutest set up for the sites, shaded with beautiful green trees, In a quiet country setting but only 10 minutes from Grand Haven! This is truly the best spot to camp in the Grand Haven area. We will be back!
