My family (toddler, dog, husband) and I camped the weekend before Memorial Day and had a great time. Elizabeth, Diesel (their terrier puppy), and her daughter greeted us with a warm welcome. The campsite was cozy and lush. The chickens, turkey, kitties, and dogs all made us feel welcome. My daughter befriended several of the animals. We even found a couple young turkeys checking out our camp site one morning looking for her!
They provide dogsitting during the day for a small extra fee. The state park only allows dogs on leash and Oval Beach not at all so it was so convenient to have a safe place for our pup while we were enjoying the local activities. Elizabeth's place is convenient, comfy, and affordable. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely place - magical farm vibes as advertised! Would be great for kids who like barnyard animals. Felt very safe. Host was very accessible.

Really nice to be close to Saugatuck. The location is cozy and the ground is mostly uneven, with just a few camping spots.
We picked a spot away from the barn because we were warned about the roosters. Unfortunately we had a bunch of rooster free ranging and set up right next to our tent both nights. One night we were close to the house and experienced a lot of noise and shouting from the house late into the night. So not as peaceful as we had hoped.

I loved tent camping on Lizâs hobby farm. There is so much to do in a very short drive but youâre tucked away in nature. The fire pits were great and Liz (and her two pups) were so kind. She also dog sits, which was great for us. We dropped our dog with her for the day when we did some hikes that werenât dog friendly.

Our stay with Liz was fantastic, she is an accommodating and welcoming host. The property was incredible, and there were plenty sites to choose from. We had so many questions and Liz was gracious and informative. We appreciate her and her family so much and will definitely be back to stay again. Definitely worth checking out.

We loved our stay with Elizabeth and âfamilyâ! Just as we hoped for in terms of a family farm experience with great animal interactions and a relaxed peaceful country vibe. Liz and family are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and made us feel totally at home.

The farm was very cute and all the animals very friendly just like their Mom Elizabeth. My 8 year old daughter and I camped in the little wooded canopy with our dog and had a fun time.

We had the best time at Liz's hobby farm! It was everything two animal loving women could ask for. The hosts were very friendly and generous and have a great spread to welcome all kinds of campers. You absolutely must visit the Express Yourself Art Barn just down the road from the farm!

Elizabethâs farm was a dream come true. She is the epitome of Michigan kindness: her communication was above and beyond, and her farm exceeded our expectations. The animals are incredibly friendly and kind, and the land itself is beautiful and spacious. Highly recommend the chicken eggs if youâre looking for the best egg experience of your life. Go for the duck eggs if youâre looking to cook the fluffiest pancakes or baked goods back home. Elizabeth was friendly, respectful of privacy, and gave us a proper introduction to the animals so we could make the most of our time on the farm! Beautiful Douglas Lake and Saugatuck Dunes Trails are a mere 20 minutes away. You canât beat this magical Michigan oasis. If youâre an avid rustic camper, this place is for you! We canât wait to come back soon â¤ď¸

My wife and I had never used this app before and loved our first stay being here! Elizabeth was so welcoming and the farm animals are adorable! she showed us around and made sure we were comfortable. The camping spots (especially the one in the back) were cozy and spacious and safe. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at Barnyard Getaway and had a wonderful experience. Everything was well-maintained and Elizabeth was friendly and helpful. Lots of space, the location was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great place to Boondock.

I had the most amazing firefly experience of my whole life in this lovely little wooded space just past the chicken/duck coop where I camped. I swear there were at least three different kinds throughout the night, but possibly more. They had different color lights. It was magical.
The location canât be beat with easy access to 31 and just a short drive to Saugatuck and Douglass.
Elizabeth was a lovely host and I felt very welcome. Didnât get eggs this time, but I will return!

We had a fantastic time here! The host was friendly and helpful, and her animals were friendly as well. The barn tour was a highlight, with tons of chickens and ducks, a turkey who loves to be pet, and pigs who love to be fed apples. 10/10 would recommend and stay again if I were in the area.

Very cool little Hobby Farm property⌠my pup and I were greeted with much enthusiasm by Elizabeth upon our arrival. We were shown the property and told pick your spot⌠we choose the cool little secluded spot back in the woods⌠it had just been cleared for our possible use and we were super happy it wasâŚ
This is a cool little property Elizabeth and her family are super welcoming and have a lot of great plans in store for this propertyâŚ
Rustic camping with firewood included multiple community fire pits as well as plans for individual pits at the sitesâŚ
Elizabeth also offers farm fresh eggs and pork for grilling for additional charge but an excellent deal!!!
All in all my pup and I had a great overnight stay⌠if you like chill vibes and seeing and interacting with the little hobby farm animals you canât beat this spot!!!
