2 nights at Hidden Gem Glamp

I loved camping here. The mini golf course was so quirky and fun. The site/tent was clean and exactly as advertised. Owners were very responsive. Bathroom and shower facilities were spotless. Everything you could possibly need and more frankly. 10/10

Weekend Trip to Woodstock Cottage

Cozy and charming carriage house with loft was a perfect place for our two night visit to Woodstock. Hiked both days and the large warm shower was a great way to relax afterwards. The host was excellent and provided more than enough necessities for a very comfortable stay.

a magical little place! it truly was the closest you could get to sleeping comfortably in a tree. clean and surprisingly not many bugs outside for being on a lake in june. and was very impressed with how screened in the treehouse itself was. great for two people or if you wanted to have a solo getaway. it was such a peaceful experience!

Weekend Trip to Quentins Treehouse

This dreamy lakefront treehouse was magic—you can watch the clouds roll by, it’s so peaceful and looks out onto Lake Garfield. The bed swings gently as you fall asleep under the stars, with all the sounds of nature and lake breezes as your soundtrack. It’s rustic in the best way, perfect for unplugging and recharging. Tip for future guests: You’ll need to be comfortable with stairs (almost ladder-like but with a handrail) to access the treehouse—but the view and serenity are 100% worth it. Bring a book and a flashlight💚

This place was awesome. Tara thought of everything you could possibly need. A/C for the warm summer nights, an outdoor shower, beautiful fire ring, chairs, bbq with grilling utensils, etc. I could not speak more highly of the setup. My group had an unforgettable time at this site. Do yourselves a favor and book here - you would not regret it.

Beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful. We stayed two nights in the tent, which was comfortable and all set up for us with clean bedding and flashlights. We enjoyed the hot outdoor shower, the very cold and drinkable water at the sink area. The best part (since we stayed during a heatwave) was the river at the end of their driveway which was so cool and peaceful. We enjoyed visiting Williamsburg and Northampton, which were not far. We loved staying here and love supporting their space for artists.

Our stay at Dom's Moon in the Pond farm was ideal. The cabin was cozy and comfortable while the screens successfully kept the bugs out. The property is bucolic with adorable cows, lambs, chickens, etc. We pre ordered the spicy sausage with fennel along with other farm fresh foods - which were delicious. It was the perfect home after a long day of swimming and hiking. Would definitely come again!

John’s camper was super fun! My partner and I loved it as a little summer getaway. Here’s some things to note: shower never got hot (there was instructions to wait 20 minutes after turning the heat button on and letting the water run but it never turned warm). Oven did not work :( If you plan to go to this site in the summer, be prepared to have a lot of buggy friends fly in to the camper at night. TV, bed, and everything else was amazing.

We had such a beautiful time! John is an amazing host, he's down to earth and very helpful. He already mentioned this in the description, but the RV is tight! Me and my girlfriend both are 5'3" so we are good and found the space cozy. Cooking was good too, we got some groceries delivered from a nearby market that does free delivery. The RV has its own spot in the shared campsite and it feels private. The hammock outside is wonderful and we took a few naps there too. We forgot our cards but John has a deck in the RV which worked perfectly for us. We did fires every night and did some food in the grill. There are different species of birds in the campsite and at night the stars are gorgeous. We saw a few bunnies and a pair of deers around as well. We were there without a car so it was a bit harder to move around but taxi services work there! It just takes a bit of time. There are a lot of things to enjoy in Hudson, Catskill and Leeds! We did also a few hikes around the area and explored some thrift/antiques stores that were lovely. Oh and the wifi works good! We would love to come back! Thanks for everything John, we had a great time!

The Little Witch Cottage is a rustic charming cottage from 1929 with timber framing and Catskill blue stone flooring. It sits in the middle of our yard about 200 feet from our more modern home. The Campsites at Oak Lodge are located on an historic property in Palenville, New York which once hosted vacation cabins, lodge, and a tavern before it was turned into a private home. It now offers a camping experience in a wooded area with mature trees, but close to several amenities in the hamlet of Palenville. It has easy access to the main road. Each campsite includes a generous space to pitch your tent and a fire pit. There is a communal area shared by both the Bluebird and Barn Owl campsites with a picnic table, drinking water, a small gas grill, hammocks, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. There is an outhouse and wash-up area for all campers. The two acres provide both a wooded area and a large grassy space. Although set back far from the road, you will hear some vehicle noise and there are nearby streetlights. Oak Lodge is one mile from Catskill Park trails leading to the wilderness area including North and South Lake. It is between sections 22 and 23 on the Long Path. You are a mile to a wine and spirits shop, and a quaint but hip general store that offers breakfast and lunch. There is a one bedroom cottage also available for rent on AirBnB. See “The Acorn” at Oak Lodge in Palenville, NY. When visiting: 1. Park near the entrance of the main house and use the wagon to bring your gear to the campsite. (Do not park close to the little cottage attached to the rear of the house as there may be guests there.) 2. There are wild animals in the area (raccoons, possums, bears, deer, fisher cat), so be sure to store your food far from your tent (preferably in your car). 3. Potable water will be in a very large igloo thermos at the communal area. Water for washing up is available near the pit toilet. 4. Bring your own toilet paper, soap, etc. 5. Moon In The Pond Farm

Well off the beaten track, it's scenic, private and peaceful. Camping at Moon In The Pond Farm is a bit of heaven. There are separate sites to choose. Around the farm, you have your own secluded spot to enjoy. (Though you may be in a field next to our Scottish Highland cattle!) Two are tent sites: the PondSide and the FieldEdge. There's one site for small/tiny RVs or Campervan. And finally there's the HiddenCabin--a bed a roof and convenience. Each has a firepit with a small grill to cook over the fire. (all firewood provided) Our campsites are in quieter areas of the farm. One overlooks the pond, others are on the edges of different farm fields, one a cabin nearer the farmstead. All require a beautiful, bucolic trek of 150-350 yards from the roadside parking--ensuring the quiet, natural experience. During the day times, you may see or hear farm work. At night it's lusciously dark and serenely quiet. You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl and coyotes howl! In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars. During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates. If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay. We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land. It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam. Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others). Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away! Love food? This is Farm-to-Table for real! Never so close--the table's AT the farm! Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a real treat! Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more. Located In upstate New York is this hidden gem. This camper was old school, now turned new. With a full renovation to give it a Scandinavian look in the front, and a cozy cabin feel in the bedroom. This will give you a unique experience different from the normal camper your used to! Also at your campsite there is a firepit, garden hose,(not available during the winter)and a 8x8 hammock perfect to stargaze in! We are now offering kindling firewood with fire starter and matches. Feel free to reserve your own firewood. $10 *PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING* I want to be transparent with you guys on the property and size of the camper! -The camper is very small only 21ft. The average height clearance is 6'2" so if you are tall this may not be for you. (I'm 5'9" and its comfortable for me) -If you are a bigger person this may feel too tight for you especially in the bathroom area -The bed is a full size some couples may feel that this is to small for them. -A hot shower will last about 15 minutes once it is heated up. -In the summertime there is bugs some may get into the camper. We do treat the area with safe bug spray but it may not fully prevent them. -There are two other tiny houses and a main house on the property. They are far apart but the main house is close. We have a privacy fence that fully blocks the house. So you are still very private but you are not fully secluded. -In case of fire There is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector inside the camper. The bedroom door is only to be used as an emergency fire exit. (Door is locked from the outside but unlocked from the inside) There is also a water cannon outside for outdoor fires. Please be responsible with all fires! -If you want to cancel you must cancel within 24 hours of booking then I will issue a full refund. Any time after that its a strict policy and no refund will be issued. Thank you for reading this I want to make sure everyone is aware and knows what to expect.
