The site is super close to the water — perfect for a peaceful getaway and easy access to kayaking or just relaxing by the shore. Blackwater Refuge is right nearby, which made for some amazing bird watching and paddling adventures. One of the unexpected perks was how close it was to a small country store — just a short walk and fully stocked with anything we needed during our stay. And if you need anything bigger, Cambridge is a quick drive and has everything from restaurants to grocery stores. This spot offers a great mix of quiet nature with the convenience of nearby essentials. Our hosts we friendly and accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Regenerative Working Farm Stay

Wonderful regen farm with many animals and a really good farm store. The staff is super friendly and worked with us to find the best parking location for our travel trailer based on our size (23') and what was going on at the farm that weekend. We ended up buying quite a bit of beef and pork from them. Would definitely stay here again.

2 nights at Adventures Await Retreat

Chris, Debbie, and Dave are wonderful hosts! We were able to arrive on a Sunday and the check-in was as easy as 1 2 3! Dave drove us to our site, which was very spacious, clean, and leveled! We loved hiking the trail on the property, exploring the pond, and bonding with the animals. We also bought some delicious mead (Pineapple, Watermelon, Elderberry Blackberry Sweet, and Elderberry Blackberry Oak Aged Sweet). We can't wait to be back!!!

Weekend Trip to Alpaca Farm

Phil and his lovely wife were very welcoming. It's a really quiet place and the alpacas are so friendly, Val the lama is so curious and smart. We've learned a lot and you can feel that Phil is passionate by his alpagas. I've bought some very nice things in their shop.

Elijah's General Store is a must-go-to destination if you want peace and quiet and you love wide open spaces to explore! Our site space was generous with easy access, and David, the store owner, was very personable and accommodating. He not only cares about his property, he is also maintaining and restoring the properties around his, which only adds to the charm of this location.

Great campsite! Very private with nice water views. Has access to fenced yard and boat dock. Quiet neighborhood. Lived having electric and water hookups. Judi and Barry were great hosts! Would stay again.

4 nights at Patty's RV Paradise

This property is picturesque and very private. The hosts are incredibly generous and available - there are kayaks, fishing gear, cornhole and kites provided. Watching the herons and ospreys feed right in front of us reminded us of the old Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom hour. A crab house, a bar and a market are within strolling distance. Cell service (with Verizon) is poor, but that’s not necessarily a negative. We’ve already scheduled another long weekend.

We absolutely loved RV camping here! The land was beautiful, and waking up to the sound of the water each morning was so peaceful. The hosts were incredibly accommodating. We booked for 2 nights but my boys were having such a good time that they wanted to stay another night, and we did just that. I highly recommend this site!

Really appreciate the hospitality of Leon and fam on Hoopers Island. We forgot an important item for our camper and the hosts were incredibly helpful. Very close the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and the magic of the Chesapeake.

Phil and his family were so kind and welcoming and the alpaca tour is 100% worth it, feeding the alpacas was the highlight of the stay and we learned so much! Property was beautiful and porta potty was pristine, lovely grounds to pitch a tent and enjoy a night outside!

We loved tent camping at Phil’s alpaca farm! Tons of space, private, our own picnic table and fire pit. The firewood bundle we purchased was delivered to our site as well. Phil was awesome and we loved seeing the alpacas. The port a potty was clean (a rarity)! Don’t hesitate and book!

Weekend Trip to Maryland Health Society

We had the best time at MAHESO! Nice shady spot near a trailhead. If you go when it’s busy, be aware that you are camping very close to other campers. We had one night where the campground was full and the rest where we were the only campers. Even when the campground was full, everyone was so friendly, that it felt like a nice community. The pool is awesome and everyone makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. Lots of lovely places to hike and cute little cabins to admire. Clean (single person) bathroom and a pretty well outfitted kitchen if you need to use that as well. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Wow ! This place is a hidden gem on the Eastern shore of Maryland. The sunsets are to die for ! There was a single tree in the exact spot the sun sets ! The sun goes down right in the center of the tree giving off the impression that it is on fire ! Stunning ! Our hosts Leon & Katie helped us with backing our 26' trailer into our spot ! After that it was five days of R&R while visiting Old Salty's during a bluegrass festival ! We plan on returning sometime later this year ! This is a top notch hip camp ! If you are searching for peace and quiet, boating or fishing and crabbing this is the place. Thank you Leon & Katie for your hospitality and allowing us to see those gorgeous sunsets ! We stayed in our 25 foot RV with our small dogs. It was a great site, picturesque and peaceful with plenty of space. We especially appreciated it since there are no commercial campgrounds in the area. Randy was out of town when we stayed but was super friendly and helpful via phone and email. Highly recommended.

Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. The Agape is located on 20 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with breath taking sunsets every evening. Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron. We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property. The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach! OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.
