We are located in Comus, MD, at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain in the heart of the Agricultural Reserve.
Beneath the pavilion: There is one large wood burning grill suitable for cooking food, one belly stove for ambience/heat and 3 fire rings to build your own fire. Firewood is provided upon request.
There are no designated parking spots for now. Feel free to park wherever suits. Potable water is in the barn along with a flush toilet.
One 30A outlet is located on the side of the barn inside the paddock next to the horse washing station.
Other outlets are located inside the barn, outside the hay barn and run-in sheds; also, on the other side of the barn outside the paddock.

About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

I stayed at Conus SKY Farm (now known as Camp Comus) multiple times in my RV. I love the farm animals, the Camp Hosts, the solitude, and the feel of the forest. 20, 30, and 50 amp electric, bathroom, and central water source is available. I will definitely be back next year.

My husband, myself, our kids and grandkids all met up at this amazing farm just overnight for a wonderful and rare campfire get together, but wished we had stayed longer. The grandkids loved all the animals but especially Zeus, the big, super sweet dog of the property!
The expansive property accommodates RVs well with plenty of space to be private yet camp amongst the animals. Our camp host greeted us, got us set up with power, and told us all about the workings of the farm and all that was available to us on the property. These extras that you don’t normally get at most Hipcamp properties was really cool! A barn with a restroom and gathering area where chili was available the night we were there along with many homemade and local goodies like shortbread cookies, honey, dried lavender sachets and produce for purchase. We happily donated a small amount toward taking care of the rescued animals on the farm.
A couple of our kids and their families live in the area so we will definitely be back! Thanks Juanita it was a pleasure!!

Beautiful, peaceful location with an incredibly friendly and responsive host! Getting to say hi to the very friendly dogs and kitten was a definite plus. Plenty of room to set up camp while still being a stone's throw away from the barn with a restroom & running water. All in all a tremendous experience!

Juanita's horse farm has plenty of room for RV and tent campers. I enjoyed the quiet country feel, the animals (her sweet dogs, the ducks and geese and the neighbors horse), and the solitude of walking her trails surrounded by autumn trees. The camp hosts are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and generous. They made me feel like family.
The Comus Inn restaurant is a hidden jewel. There are lots of nearby areas to explore, breweries and wineries to sample, and the trails of Sugarloaf mountain are worth your time. I plan to return next year at this time.

I had electricity and was able to easily fill my talk. The hosts (Josh and Katie) are VERY welcoming. Juanita is delightful and very accommodating. The geese and ducks are great reminders you are on a farm and the horse next door is very friendly. I saw a deer most evenings. It was quiet and comfortable. Will return soon and next year at this same time.

It was a tranquil setting, with lots of old growth trees and trails. The pavilion, with hammocks and a swing, was so much fun for the kids and made a wet day go by quickly. The chickens and ducks were right near the pavilion, as was a beautiful veggie garden. The camp hosts were so attentive and educational to our child in the garden. We sprung for the English breakfast, and our kid kept talking about it! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll go again for a close by camping trip!

When I arrived after dark, I was greeted by the campground host, Katie. She kindly guided me to a good place for my camper van. The farm is beautiful and the camping areas are clean and pleasant. I spent a little extra to have the use of the "sniff-spot" off leash area for my dogs; this is an important feature for me. I would happily stay again.

This was our second trip here and we’re already planning another. There are options for hookups or to boondock and the camp hosts are fantastic, we got the most incredible tomatoes from their garden and we had a wonderful afternoon at a winery nearby. I almost don’t want to share this gem.

It certainly served the purpose. The field behind the convenience store and automotive store was big enough to give maximum of three campers plenty of space. Port-a-john centally located and clean. I parked as far up the hill by the tree line as I could to avoid road noise. It was quiet overnight. If I had been staying in the area longer, I definitely would have returned. I didn't visit the store, but nice to have it handly. Planet Fitness was 12 miles away for a quick shower in the morning. Ran errands and Hagerstown and even got my COVID-19 vaccine while in the area.

Beautiful sunrises & sunsets on the water. Great bird watching (loons, heron, otherwise). Great stargazing, catching catfish, crab. Nice clean bathrooms & playground. Golf cart friendly. The owner is kind and helpful. Sites are gravel, several lots on the lake, includes a boat ramp and nice dock, busy for the weekend. Security was well thought of. Great spot!

Everybody was very welcoming! Juanita’s land is VERY well maintained, plenty of room for our group to spread out but still maintain privacy. Also, the gingerbread loaf was insanely good. Only 10 minutes drive to the aqueduct to do some fishing which was a huge plus as well. Very glad I stayed and will absolutely be back.
