Come relax on this private 5 acre waterfront escape. A long driveway will open up into a cleared lot. The end of the driveway is a large crushed gravel parking pad which should easily accommodate any RV or trailer (make sure you back in, there's no room to turn around). The pad is mostly flat, but minor leveling on RV's is probably still needed. Site overlooks Flanders Bay which feeds into Mount Desert Narrows. Watch the family of 5 eagles fly back and forth across the cove and bring binoculars to watch them as they perch in nearby trees. The cove is filled with a variety of seabirds and the occasional harbor seal. You will have complete quiet as you listen to the sounds of forest and coastal life.Property is located 11 miles from Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National park and a quick 35 miles from Bar Harbor. From May through mid November, site includes access to a HOT outdoor shower, well water, a working sink with hot water.
Water is turned off after November 15th until late spring, weather dependent.
NEW THIS YEAR- we have installed a 50/30 AMP hookup for trailers/RV's - we do charge $15 extra per night for hookups, please coordinate with us at time of booking if you will need power for your camper -

The back bedroom has a new, super-comfy queen bed, two drawers, and plenty of hooks. The bed has a mattress cover and clean, fitted sheet. BRING YOUR OWN SLEEPING BAGS AND PILLOWS.
PATIO & OUTDOOR KITCHEN - Adjacent to the cabin is a lovely cedar patio with a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen, patio table and chairs with an umbrella for shade, and outdoor games (corn hole and bocce).

We offer two (2) parking sites suitable for an RV or tow trailer no longer than 40' and no taller than 15'. There is a 50 AMP hookup, plus recently tested well water and newly re-piped septic. This site is down a 350+' private No Outlet drive with limited lighting, surrounded by a thicket of trees on all sides for total privacy and the serene quiet of forest life in Downeast Maine.
While we are not yet set up for tent camping, stay tuned for when we open additional sites!
The Good Stuff:
On the property itself, we have 20+ acres to explore including a trail that begins* your trek up to the peak of Young Tunk Mountain. There, you can begin your day early and treat yourself to a brilliant glimpse of the first morning light in Sunrise County. Or, enjoy an evening of stargazing with beautiful clarity steps away from a blazing campfire with the opportunity for songs, stories, and laughter to last a lifetime.

We now have water! A 300’ well and a hand pump make for some ice cold water onsite, It’s a little rusty in color but great for washing dishes and bathing. Space and privacy! 3 acres to yourself, sweeping views and sunsets including a glimpse of Cadillac Mountain from across the Bay. 12x12 cozy shelter! No electricity in the Timber Tent, but there are power outlets on the electric pole at the beginning of the driveway. Feel free to bring your tent, camper or stay in the cabin. We had the best time at this site. The views were absolutely incredible. We had better sunset views from the campsite than we even would in Acadia. Having the water, electric plug, and bathroom on site was so helpful, too. We ended up tent camping, but the little house was such an added perk, too for storage, spending time together, etc. I can’t recommend this spot enough!!

This truly is a private oasis. We did not see a single person when staying at Raphaele’s land! The view of the water was awesome, but with a quick hike through the mossy forest you’re down by the water for an even better view. We took our camper trailer, beware you do have to back in from the road with trailers, but it was worth it. We were able to watch harbor seals catching fish at high tide, and the birding is amazing with forest and ocean birds in the same view. The outdoor shower was great, and the sink was nice to wash dishes in. For our camper we had electricity and water. This is a really cool spot with great views and animal activity. I highly recommend if you like privacy and the great outdoors!

Eagle View Coastal Campground offers an incredible experience filled with privacy and natural beauty. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the seclusion was so profound that it created a wonderfully eerie atmosphere at night!
One of the highlights of our trip was the outdoor shower—it was simply spectacular, providing an unforgettable open-air bathing experience with breathtaking views of the night sky. Speaking of views, the scenery from the property was nothing short of stunning, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers.
We chose this campsite as our base while visiting Acadia National Park, and while it was about a 40-minute drive from the visitor center, the journey was absolutely worth it. Just a heads up for future visitors: the electric hookup is quite a distance from the campsite. Make sure to bring a long extension cord; we ended up connecting two to reach our camper. It would be a nice enhancement if a long extension cord was provided on site for convenience.
Overall, I highly recommend Eagle View Coastal Campground. The privacy, views, and outdoor amenities make it a top-notch destination for camping enthusiasts. We loved every moment of our time there!

We stayed here for a month while sightseeing Maine. Michael was a terrific host!! The site was clean, spacious and everything we hoped! Michael is very knowledgeable about the area and even knew where we could get the BEST homemade blueberry pies! Michael is very friendly and accommodating to his campers and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we hoped (and turned out to be more than we hoped). Highly recommend this host and the beautiful area of Cherryfield, Maine.

All I can say is wow!! I booked the camp for 4 days but was really only thinking I would stay for 2-3 and thought...what the heck, if I like it I could stay the 4 days. By day 2, I never wanted to leave. The place was incredible. The stars at night were so amazing that I didn't watch any TV or get on my phone the entire time. I can't wait to go again next year!!
The camp was perfect!!! Just enough roughing it to feel like I was camping but also just enough glamp to not make me feel like I was full on camping. Absolutely perfect!!

Absolutely beautiful location. We set up our tent facing the water and just sat there for hours. So peaceful and calm, and very private. In the morning there were guys out clamming in the mud at low tide. Also if you are a birder you will be in shorebird HEAVEN! Having a sink and shower with hot water was amazing. We loved our night here and would definitely recommend.

We spent a lovely, peaceful three day weekend in campsite #1. Michael, the host is a really nice guy who was very accommodating and responsive to any needs we might have. The site itself is all gravel, fairly level with full hook ups. There was no one in site #2 which was good because it is right next to #1. Getting a trailer backed in might need some assistance which Michael appeared ready to supply (we had no problem because our trailer is equipped with a caravan mover) . A pretty spot that is surrounded by woods, lots of birds and a big tree that provided some shade and kept our trailer cooler during the height of the day.
A huge plus is the location ! Its just north of Cherryfield in an area with lots of opportunities for great hikes (schoodic and tunk mountains) and lake and river paddling (Narraguagus river, 3 lakes w/ boat ramps) . And not a far drive to beautiful costal hikes like Roques Bluff, Ingersoll Preserve, Petit Manan, Wass Island just to name a few (who needs the crowds in Acadia!) The nearby town of Cherryfield is a lovely village with a great cafe for coffee and breakfast and lunch.

My son and I stayed 2 nights with our tiny camper & a tent, and enjoyed this site more than another other site we stayed at on our 9-day Maine adventure. The views were amazing, and we spent time walking out during low tide, birding and exploring. The campsite itself has an outdoor shower, an outhouse, and an outdoor sink - all super convenient. Honestly the shower was better than ones we had at big campgrounds. We loved having the entire site to ourselves. Raphaele is a great host, very communicative, & was very helpful as we planned our stay. Only 40 minutes from Bar Harbor, the site was in the perfect location. On my next Maine trip I will try to book a few more days here as a base to explore Acadia and the surrounding area.
