There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles (n a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs. Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. We purchased this land a few years ago when our neighbors decided to sell. It abuts our property They used it as a place for their family to gather and camp on during Maine wonderful summer season. It is a beautiful, quiet spot with a great view and a small pond. Hipcamp lets us share this spot and helps pay our property taxes.We are located in the western mountains of Maine in a summer community on Porter Lake. There is a beautiful view of New Vineyard mountain from our 3 acre field. We have 2 trailer sites with power and water (non potable) and an out house. The field has several fire pits and soft grassy spaces for pitching tents. The camping area is fairly private from our neighbors along the road. The site has a small private pond surrounded by trees you can sit and relax near. You can (walk/bike/drive) the 1/4 mile down the dirt road to the public beach. The site was lovely and as expected - riverside with a picnic table and a nice wide flat surface for setting up our 2-person tent. As described, it is a fairly steep (but wide) path to get down to the site, though we managed even after dark with head lamps on and a slow pace. There is a shared fire pit for all three sites at one of the sites. The privy was clean, well maintained, and centrally located. The host, Abi, was responsive and provided detailed information about how to get to the site, the expectations, and amenities.

It was an enjoyable stay. The host was very responsive and the location is easy to find, and the privy is clean. The camp site itself is centerally located on a lot between neighbouring houses that are in earshot but it's tucked back behind the barn and has some trees and shrubs that offer it a secluded feel. It was perfect for my needs and It is just 27 minutes away from the Casco Bay YMCA by car if you need to work out and get a hot shower.

I loved camping on Lori's land. All the glamping tents are very private, and you have to walk about 100 yards from the car, so there is no noise at all. The outhouse was super clean and so cool inside. The bed in the tent was very comfortable and had enough room for the dog as well. The land is beautiful with North Conway only a 30 min drive for great food and coffee! I highly recommend this Hip Camp!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and had such a relaxing time. You’re truly alone (aside from a neighbor going by a couple times a day, but that wasn’t a big deal. If anything, it was comfort just in case any emergencies happened.) It was incredibly peaceful with the sound of the stream. A beautiful walk up to a gorgeous pond with a small mountain in the distance. Nice campfire with a grate that swivels for cooking over the fire. The platform you can set your tent up on was fantastic! The site would be a great spot for star gazing because of the lack of light pollution, but it was cloudy every night for us. We will most certainly be back!
