We had a wonderful stay at the Kilns! The location was incredibly convenient—just a short drive to many of the main attractions in Red River Gorge. The hostess, Kim, was very friendly and welcoming, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. We especially appreciated the list of recommended locations she provided; it helped us make the most of our time exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We think Carli’s place is absolutely beautiful. It’s quiet and there are beautiful views a short hike from the camp spot. And the camp spot has an incredible deck to sit on and watch the natural surroundings. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain but even still it was a wonderful getaway and we will definitely come back!!!!

We had a great time tent camping at Possum Ridge! The camp sites were beautiful and spaced out so we had privacy. The bath house was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very accommodating, they checked on us once a day to make sure we were ok and provided drinks and popsicles for the kids along with coffee and other necessities at the common area. We definitely would come back and recommend this place to others!

Very peaceful, quiet stay. Nobody ever bothered me. Beautiful sunsets. Silent nights. Good power and water. No septic at site, but they were up front about that. Would absolute stay again!

Great place to relax and hike! It was quiet and peaceful. The owners was always helpful and quick to respond to questions. We plan on coming back hopefully sooner than later.

Boone Valley Campground is the place to be. If you are looking for a nice quiet camping experience you have to check this place out. The owner Ben is one of the coolest fellas you'll ever meet. We camp 10 to 20 times a year and this has been one our our favorite spots ever. Very close to natural bridge and the gorge.

Great little private campground. Everything about my experience was fantastic. Bathroom's could be setup to be more practical and functional with necessities but I made it work. I will stay here again if I am in the area.

Great big flat area with really neat covered eating area and very clean outhouse. Very convient to Gorge related activities. There is road noise but you cannot see the road at all. Nice hike on property. Would visit again.

The site by the big oak tree and very large and flat. Definitely the site to book when you come here. The short hike along the waterfall is nice. The outhouse and outdoor kitchen are great. Will be back for sure.

Land was beautiful! Horses were beautiful! It was so quiet and serene on the land. And close to gas and stores. Hosts were so sweet. They told us about the horses and their names. Kim was very welcoming. She offered to give us a canopy for the rain, she let us use the music stage to hang out hammocks and cook. She even let us plug our electric vehicle into the music stage. We had a wonderful stay, would highly recommend :)

Weekend Trip to The LAAAAND (just you & 50 acres)

Just what my sould neded! Perfect is the first word that comes to mind when I think about our stay! This location was so great we didn't even leave to kayak or hike off the property like we had planned because there is plenty to take in and enough hiking on the property there's no reason to leave! The water falls were so beautiful and the short hike to the cliff edge was perfect for taking in the sunset, we set up a hammock and chair and spent hours there! We had enough service to make and receive calls for a situation that came up at home so that was a plus! The views are like something from National Geographic! The cicadas were everywhere and extremely loud but a sound we got used to, during sunset they quiet down and the whole place comes alive with the sound of frogs, crickets, and the soothing sound of the waterfall. The deck was great it is where we set up our tent and table and chairs for hanging around! Trails were marked and wore down enough to follow easily. The hike down to the waterfall could be tricky of your not sure on your feet, getting back up will test how In shape you think you are as we found out. I have officially added this spot to our favorites list!

This campsite is a double capacity with full hookup, located in a rural community halfway between Jackson and Salyersville on Highway 30 East. The site is close to the road; however there is much woodland to explore located on the property. We have small waterfall and a natural rock formation that can be hiked to. There is a shoal a very short walk from the campsite that is a wonderful place to enjoy the creek! There is great cellular service if your device uses Verizon towers, as there is a tower on the property. This is the perfect place to come and relax if you are visiting the area. It is approximately 12 miles from a small town with local restaurants and convenience stores. Our farm raised , dry aged black angus beef can be purchased if available; please check availability by calling a few days prior to your stay. You may also purchase firewood that was harvested from our property which is a certified tree farm. Our cattle are raised on another of our properties located a few miles up the road. We would be happy to schedule a time to take you there to see where they are born and raised.

Our remote 375 acres part farm and part natural woodland nestled up to Daniel Boone Forest is ideal for hikers and nature lovers. There are several hiking trails onsite and plenty of woods to explore. ATVs or side by sides are welcome to be used on the main gravel roads and some designated areas of our property. There is plenty of wildlife around but no hunting is allowed. Our designated tent sites do have firepits and picnic tables. Our trek in sites do not have those options. Pets are welcome for $10 per pet/per booking and they do need to be leashed/under control at all times. This is an extra so please be sure to add that if you plan to bring your pet. Please pick up after them. We are a short driving distance from West Liberty, Cave Run Lake, Grayson Lake, Carter Caves, Morehead, Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. We're a family that loves to camp; and while we love a stop at a KOA or community campground, we sometimes crave quiet time in nature without the noise and distraction of other campers. That's what makes The LAAAAND so special. The property is comprised of 50 pristine acres, with a mix of fields and woods, that bump up against another 250 acres owned by our family friends. The southern perimeter of the property is all cliff line, so you feel truly remote. The possibilities of sound pollution are limited to a far-off dog barking, horses being ridden down a nearby trail, or the possible hum of a distant lumber yard. Other than that, you'll mostly hear the wind rustling trees, deer and critters making their way through the woods, and possibly a waterfall at certain times of the year.
