3 nights at Two Mile Glamping

Our family stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our time together at the Beary Comfy RV. The RV was adorable and made my kids feel at home. 4 adults would be a tight fit. I would say this is more for 2 adults or 1 adult and a few kids. We had a fridge, a stove top, Air conditioning and loved having the pac man arcade!! I was so thankful for the bathroom, but the smell was very intense, but perhaps we were there right before it was cleaned out? I enjoyed having a shower& bathroom to use. Thank you Natalie, we love your creativity and hope to visit again.

Highly recommend. Our host Scott was great at communicating and the accomodations was exactly what my wife and I wanted. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the spot. Looking forward to a return trip.

The tent camping was perfect! Easy to find and beautiful views. The other campers were close but you still had your space.

This place is awesome! From the landscaping, ironwork, creative design of grounds to convenience. The staff is wonderful and so helpful! Must be a great venue for events, we have noticed how hard they are working for the two weddings on Saturday!

Our family loved tent camping on Josh’s land. It was so beautiful, and the spot was peaceful and secluded. We took a walk down to the creek and skipped rocks, and loved hearing and seeing all the birds. The toilet and shower were greatly appreciated as well. Josh was kind and made sure the path to our site was well marked. I’m grateful we were able to experience Kentucky by camping here, and would love to come back.

Nice quiet property with nice lake/pond. Getting to Daniel Boone National Forest was easy and the town of Mt. Sterling, and its history, is worth going to the Honey Hut in and of itself. Scott was very awesome. I mixed up my reservation dates and Scott worked it out the day of and really helped out. I would definitely recommend this property.

I loved the whole cabin set-up. The farm is easy to find which is great. The land is gorgeous beyond reason. The cabin itself was well situated on beautiful land with tons to do with outdoor activities. The beds are comfy and the whole cabin shows the love the Handys have had for their property. I recommend.

Weekend Trip to Whimsical Treehouses and Trails!!

Perfect place for kids (5 and 4). They loved the treehouse. I appreciated all the whimsical things on the property: we hiked the hobbit trail, played in camp creek for hours, crossed it on the rope bridge, swung on all sorts of swings, brushed wind chimes, and knocked out most of the scavenger hunt.

My daughter and I stayed for a night on our way home from vacation. The I Love Lucy camper was private and had beautiful views and skies. The video to convert the bed was super simple and we had everything we needed. Beautiful county but not far off of the interstate. I’ll keep it in mind to break up tdrives in the future!

We have camped here several times and always have a great time! Our dogs love it to! The site feels so secluded and remote, like we have the farm to ourselves. And yet it is a quick and easy drive to everything Lexington has to offer!

3 nights at Two Mile Glamping

We had a small issue with the a/c not working but the host was quick to resolve it and moved us to a different trailer. The communication was excellent and we still had a great time. It was a very hot day when we arrived in the afternoon so having the a/c on and a couple cold sodas in the fridge was a really nice touch. This was the perfect home base for us to explore Winchester, Mount Sterling, and Jump Rock in the gorge.

This was our first HipCamp experience and we had a great weekend! The themed trailers were very cute and it was so nice to have a/c during the hot summer but still feel like your camping. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the hosts are cool VW people so we felt right at home.

I had a wonderful stay tent camping on the electrical stage. The shade provided by the roof, flat ground, and three walls surrounding my tent made for a perfect site to set everything up! Having outlets on the walls at this site was a really nice added perk. This hosts land is very nicely maintained, they provided wonderful amenities such as Porta potties, spigot water, a fire pit, an indoor toilet, and a hot water shower. The communication was great. Detailed directions to the property were sent to me before my arrival, and any questions I had were answered clearly and promptly. Given the easy and short 15 minute drive to city and the amazing experience I had while staying here, I will definitely be back again when visiting Lexington!

3 nights at Farm and Forest

Perfect camping location to visit Lexington. Only 15 minutes from Rupp arena, but secluded on a farm. Worth noting that our site in particular was a great option if you do not need power. While the grass was tall during our visit, it was out of the control of the host as Kentucky had non-stop storms for the preceding week. The entire state had tall grass during our visit, so we were not surprised and nothing an outdoor rug didn't solve. We are only the third review on this particular site (Water with a View) but I would recommend it. It is very private. While the description may give you the impression you are on the road, you are really about 150 yards away. Not only that, there is a bank of trees right by your site giving you privacy. We really didn't even notice the road. There was plenty of space for us (18 ft RV) and the double farm gates makes it very easy to pull in and out. Truly, if visiting downtown Lexington or catching an event at Rupp Arena, you will not find a better option for camping/RVing.

Red River Rewind is a small glamping community that is themed off of the owner’s passion for different genre music, vintage, antique history and memorabilia. Currently still a work in progress, we offer a customized bell tent which sits on a 20 x 30 platform deck, with a customized, insulated, fully functioning outhouse which has a shower, commode, and sink that allows endless hot water. In progress, “Elvira” is our cozy small cabin currently still under construction. Both have electricity, and water, and full bathroom accessibility at their own site. “Hey Jude” also offers a small wood burning stove to accommodate for cooler temperatures with an Eden pure heater, and fans for warmer weather days. The customized fully furnished bathroom just steps away from the tent, offers endless hot water. There is also a water spicket just a few steps away from the deck. Note that should the wood stove want to be used, guests need to supply their own SMALL pieces of wood as it is a miniature fireplace. The cabin will be designed with a mini split heating and air system. WiFi is not currently available though an amenity that is upcoming in the future. Cell phone access is good in our area typically. Red River Rewind has common shared amenities to include: a 3/4 acre fully stocked pond which is available for simply viewing its beauty as the fountain flows, or catch and release fishing as seasonally available, many family and friend oriented activities to choose from to check out and return such as cornhole, large checkers, and many more. As time and weather permits, we plan to expand with really neat projects and extras in upcoming months, and would love to have visitors passing through our beautiful area who need or want a place to stay or locals who just want a little change of scenery. We are simple, ordinary people who just want to share some of the things we love about life with others. On a clear note, there are beautiful images of the stars here. You will also have accessibility to a telescope.

For the water enthusiast and serious fisherman River Run has its own private dock with two slips and the ability to dock several boats around the perimiter. We have two gas powered john boats that can be rented in addition to your camper with a signed waiver but feel free to bring your own kayaks , or smaller fishing type boats. ( no yachts or pontoons ) There are miles of river to be explored with lots of amazing natural beauty. The Kentucky river has a great variety of fish for your chasing, large and small mouth bass, walleye, muskie, drum, pan fish an abundance of nice size channel cats which are so much fun to catch. Talk to me nice and I might give you some tips. There is so much here you will have to come and see for your self. FYI gang plank going down to the dock is steep so depending on your physical condition the dock may not be accessible to you.

Our lodging features treehouses, yurts, a bunkhouse, retro camper, water/electric hook-ups, and campsites. We also host weddings, retreats, and other events so advance reservations are required. For insurance purposes and the safety of our own livestock and pets, we do not allow guests to bring their pets/ESAs onto the property. Prepare to UNPLUG as we do not have cell service or wifi (there IS a landline for guests to make phone calls located in the Community Farmhouse). All guests from tent to treehouse have access to our solar-powered Community Farmhouse featuring a fully-stocked chef-inspired kitchen, restrooms, coin-op laundry, and upstairs multi-purpose room with a library and board games. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with additional cooking space including a grill, microwave, and sink (sink is closed in the winter so the pipes don’t freeze). We're also just 8 miles from the hiking trails at the Berea College Pinnacles, 8 miles to Owsley Fork Reservoir, 20 minutes to Anglin Falls, 12 miles to Berea, 35 minutes to Richmond, Ky, and a scenic hour to Red River Gorge. Camp Middle Fork

Learn more about this land: Come stay at Middle Fork Camp: two acres of grass and eleven acres of wooded hillside overlooking a valley meadow in the Daniel Boone National Forest region. Just forty minutes from the Red River Gorge and past homesite of pioneer settlers, the property features an outdoor kitchen, potable spring water, an outdoor shower, WiFi, and 110V and RV-type electric outlets. There is a yoga deck, picnic table, and wood benches with stone ring fireplaces for your use. Help yourself to vegetables from the veggie patch in season! There are ample hiking and trail running opportunities from the site, starting right behind the (private) A-frame cabin, up and over the limestone cliffs or out the gravel road. I have established hiking/running trail loops to scenic points ranging from 1 - 15 miles in length and will be happy to provide detailed information, including GPS tracks upon request. Enjoy! Note: Camp Middle Fork is a true nature area: in season there are ticks, you may see a snake, and common to this region, there is poison ivy in the woods. If you are sensitive, dress accordingly.
