This farm is ancestral land of the Sauk and Fox peoples and has been our home since 2001.
It offers diverse natural beauty including fresh springs and the Tetes des Morts
Creek, quiet woods on sloping bluffs, various songbirds and other wildlife. We tend a few sheep and a flock of 20 laying hens, a small orchard and large vegetable gardens. Our black Labrador retriever wanders around here freely.
The tiny house is equipped with a camp cookstove with an extra propane bottle, cooking and eating utensils, press coffee pot, 2 gallons drinking water, full bed, rocking chair, writing table, woodstove for winter heat. Firmly in the realm of Outsider Art, Gothic and rustic, Bob Kellogg has created a place unlike anywhere else in the world that represents freedom and inspires endless creativity. The land provides multiple camp sites for easy access to bike and walking trails taking visitors into town or through the Wapsipinicon State Park across the river from the property. Anamosa offers several restaurants, grocery stores and other businesses all within a 1-mile walking distance from your campsite.

We have 15 acres of woods with a natural rock bluff, so many different spaces which allow you to fully bond with nature. Trails to wander and wildlife to see. Clothing is optional through out all of the property; overnight camping and sunbathing/day pass spots are available.
Located on the Wapsipinicon River. Camp sites are tucked away from life's stresses. Relax in the woods. Watch the cows and calves moo in the nearby pasture. Walk nature trails with native wildlife and flora. Great photo opportunities abound. Cast a line to catch dinner. Escape to nature is the key to this property; find yourself tucked away from city sounds and light pollution. Come out to see the sunset/sunrise, check out the stars, read a good book, lay out in your favorite hammock, find yourself, and be at peace. Great place for a nice camping fire; treat yourself to some smores. Peaceful sounds at night of the river flowing as you drift off to sleep in your tent. Perfect little spot for peaceful relaxation and just taking some time. Walk the trails in your natural skin, shoot photos of all the different plants, listen to the birds and animals scurry, enjoy the sunshine, and feel the warmth on all of your body. Put in your canoe or kayak at Olin for a 3-4 hour float to our camping area. There are lots of state parks within a short drive; visit the only Presidential library in Iowa; and tour some amazing caves in nearby parks. Enjoy the Great Jones County Fair only 30 mins away.. So much to do, and then come back to a space without crowds and just chill.

The secluded campsite is situated on a high point on Pilot Knob that overlooks the entire valley with 180 degree views to the South, West and North. The tent site is a flat 20'x20' spot next to a Birch tree, fire ring and table; plenty of room for two tents and a car or two. In the foreground is a natural field with small Cedar trees, Scrub Oak, Sumac and prairie grasses where deer often eat and bed. The site is situated on about 25 acres - plenty of space to take a walk through the fields. Further out are natural woods, and in the distance is the entire Mississippi River valley South to Bellevue, IA and North of Dubuque, IA. Sunsets are absolutely breathtaking from this vantage point.

Our 360-acre family farm—held by our family for nearly 80 years—has been transformed from a tree grove and a former highway borrow pit into a welcoming campground.
We’ve built two structures on the property, including a shop with a restroom and a cozy porch where my wife and I enjoy evenings watching deer and other wildlife. What began as a spot for family camping has grown into a campground we’re now opening to guests.
Campsites range from electric-hookup sites for convenience to primitive sites for those who want to unplug and enjoy quiet time in nature.

The loft comfortably sleeps eight and can accommodate up to ten guests with a blow-up mattress if needed.
Step onto the east-facing patio deck with your morning beverage and watch the sunrise over fields of blooming prairie flowers. Wildlife is abundant—deer, rabbits, songbirds, pheasants, and even eagles are frequent visitors. As night falls, the second-floor deck becomes the perfect spot for stargazing and listening to the calls of coyotes echoing across the land.
Next door to the Lodge, you’ll find the Bin Bar—a once-abandoned grain bin transformed in 2017 into a unique gathering space ideal for late-night storytelling and nightcaps under the stars.

The rustic cabin sits on a beautiful ridge. You will have a great view of the sky. Birds and wildlife watching along with listening to them.
The property is a second farm that has been in my family's history since the 1960's. We are a working crop, horses and beef cattle farm. We raise crops on this property. We have a main farm down the road that if you would like to visit, we can try setting that up so you can see the animals if you would like.
Please note that the cabin has a porta potty outside. The cabin does not have electricity, but an extension cord can be brought and plugged into the outdoor electric outlet. The cord can be run into the cabin to use the fan, lamp and electric skillet or infrared heater in the colder months. There is a water hydrant outside for bathing or boiling. The water is non potable.
We have direct access to the property for ATV/UTV's for the public road use on the back roads. You can travel from town to town and sight see.
The property is between two towns and is close to places to see and things to do, driftless area history, wineries, caves, hiking, canoeing, fishing, sightseeing, river, streams and more.

The property was expansive and had a beautiful layout! The campsites down below were spread out but close enough to each other to give you a community feel when camping amongst others. The river was beautiful and refreshing in the summer heat, and the view of the bovine pasture behind the property also added to the country feel. I only met Scott, but he was a gracious host and made sure to stop by every so often to make sure all of us campers had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend any fellow nudist to book a weekend camping on Scott and Kimberly's property! I will definitely be returning for another weekend stay!

My wife has always said she did not want to give naturism a try but once we got there she was willing to. All because of the comfortable nature of our hosts and the property. The views are great! We tent camped, pulled in easily, found a few flat areas that could work for our tent and chose a shady spot! Bugs were not bad and grassy area is maintained. We did not have to worry about the toddler or dog getting into anything poisonous on the groomed areas. It is close to town if you want to explore Galena. Gas station for ice and wood is not far away as well.

Weekend Trip to New Hope Farm
Everything was wonderful. It was a very cozy stay and we loved being on the New Hope Farm with Mary and Rick. They are such nice people and we enjoyed visiting with them and exploring their property, especially the woods and meadows and springs. The cabin was just what we needed, very comfortable and with the basic necessities for glamping that made it ideal. We hope to keep coming back and to experience all the seasons there.

Coconut Cove RV is a nice quiet resort with nice amenities. I only wish the showers were not so tricky to use. There is a note saying you have to wait for 5 mins for the water to heat up, however it takes longer than that and the hot water doesn’t last more than 2 mins.

Scott and Kimberly are great hosts. The property is beautiful. I love that they welcome everyone of every expression with great emphasis on “be yourself” and mutual respect of fellow campers. Campgrounds were booked so I stopped for day pass. Really enjoyed walking the property and relaxing in the hammocks.

Went to Jungletown Ridge for a day pass. The campground and sunbathing areas are amazing. I recommend anyone who likes sunshine and nature to try this place. Scott and Kimberly are the best and most gracious hosts you will ever meet. Campground are amazing clean and by the river. The sunbathing areas are open to the sun with shade areas around the edges. Jungletown Ridge is the perfect spot in Iowa for clothing optional minded and first timers to enjoy a safe place to go.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at JT Ridge. The property is beautiful, private, and surrounded by nature with amazing river views, wooded trails, and incredible sunsets. It was the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time away from the crowds. The campsites felt well-spaced. This made the experience even more relaxing. If you’re looking for a unique camping getaway with a calm atmosphere and a true connection to nature, this is definitely worth visiting!

We had a group of 6 and spent 3 nights at Scott’s property and it was a blast! We booked both waterfront sites and it worked out really well. If you have a large group you could even book all 3 sites as they are close enough together. But also plenty of space if there are other couples or groups there. We will definitely be returning for another fun weekend!

Had such an amazing time at this camping site! Everyone in our group enjoyed every moment and it turned into such a unique experience. The hosts were honestly the best — super friendly, welcoming, and took care of everything so well. We even got our braids done by them which made the trip even more memorable! From dancing with strangers around the bonfire to enjoying the peaceful and calm nature away from the city, everything felt perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. I loved my little Woodsy Campsite retreat! Jessica was such a great host and made me feel very welcomed. I had everything I could've possibly needed and wonderful extras! The property was beautiful and I loved the outdoor shower. I highly recommend and it's at the top of my list to come back and stay again.
