This 11' x 16' unfurnished, single-room cabin sits atop a wooded limestone bluff with a cozy bistro-style deck overlooking the forest and abundant wildlife. Large windows and a sliding patio door bring the outdoors inside, making it the perfect place to read, relax, unplug, and reconnect with nature. Two indoor hammocks are ready for you to unwind in while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is the only one on the property, offering exceptional privacy just a short walk from the river. Please note this is **primitive camping in a cabin**. There is **no electricity, running water, heating, air conditioning, or furniture**. An attached porta-potty serves as the restroom. First time camping for me and first time at a clothing optional place for me and my partner and we absolutely loved it! Was a bit surprised by how close we were to other campers, it still felt pretty distanced but you can definitely hear and see other people, we didn’t mind and our neighbors were very pleasant! Depending on your PDA comfort level, it can still be very romantic if that’s what you’re looking for, it was perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. The shower/bathroom and hammock area is shared, and Scott stops by periodically to make sure sites are stocked up. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout, from when we struggled to find the road upon arrival, to when we had to pack up to leave, the JTRidge team was ready! Waking up to the cows every morning on your left and the gentle stream of the river on the right was truly a dream! The location itself felt like a little slice of heaven! Full of serene, tranquil views that are soooooo necessary to experience when you live in the city. We even commented at one point, if this was afterlife and we never woke up we’d be more than happy to stay lol! Scott and Kimberly have truly out done themselves, the space and energy they have created is unmatched! And while this transformative trip has encouraged us to look for more clothing optional campsites in the US, we doubt any will come close to the level of freedom and welcome that we enjoyed at JTRidge! As for the clothing optional part, there was no pressure or assumptions. Very clear and direct communication and respect for everyone’s boundaries was always at the forefront. The freedom, plus fresh air and the lack of shame was palpable and amazing!!! A life changing experience that we’re so grateful such kind folks were generous enough to share with the rest of us. Kudos to Kimberly and Scott!!! We will definitely be back and with a larger group! If you’re considering booking don’t hesitate— you won’t regret it! ☺️

I enjoyed camping at Jungletown Ridge campground. Prairie site campsite was great. Got to see cattle grazing in the field and could cross the campground to view the river to watch fish jumping in the river plus a verity of birds flying overhead. A very peaceful place to camp for the weekend. Scott and Kimberly are the best camp hosts that you could ever find at any campground. It is a quiet and safe place for all ages to stay at.

Eagles Nest Overlook Cabin
Scott gave us a tour of the site. It has a lake, a river, and a wonderful view. The cabin has two hammock over a hard wooden floor. There are places to answer nature's call and also to shower. Scott was very polite and let us use the refrigerator in the garage.

We had another great time at Scott and Kimberly’s place. Three nights was the perfect amount of time. There were lots of laughs, good food, love, and fun. It’s so nice that Scott and Kimberly share this place with others where you’re able to shed your worries and just enjoy nature and the company you’re with. Speaking of company, it was a full camp this weekend and it was a lot of fun to meet new people and share an evening just enjoying each other’s company. We are already planning next year’s trip! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming! The property is beautifully laid out with lots on amenities! Clean walking trails with benches along the way. There is a wall of bluffs along one trail that was especially cool to walk along. I attended this property for quiet wildlife photography and it didn't disappoint! No public traffic! I would highly recommend this as a place to visit!

There were two groups at the river area where I camped. We all got along very well and hung out. Pretty awesome when a bunch of strangers can get together and just laugh and tell stories. Scott and Kimberly came down Sunday morning and we all had a great time visiting with them as well. I love that I found this little slice of heaven.

I love this property and this was my second visit. Scott is always helpful and responsive. The tent sites by the river are beautiful and I love the soft sand at the sites for the tent. It also allows me the be barefoot. Make sure you read the details to make sure you are comfortable with everything, but it is well worth going! So relaxing!

What an amazing experience! It was my first time camping in almost 30 years (and my first clothing optional outing to boot), and it was darn near perfect! Only thing I would have changed, was less rain on my first night... and having more people know about JTRidge!!! Scott and Kimberly were amazing hosts. The epitome of "Iowa Nice"! Since it was raining when I arrived, Scott and I chit chatted in the garage out of the rain until a slight break in the downpour. Scott then drove me and my gear down to the site in his atv (which brought back SOOOO much nostalgia for me, riding in the woods on the back of my grandpa's atv), and even helped me set up camp in the rain. The next day when the rain let up and the sun came out, it was a PERFECT day. Sun and buns! I relaxed soo much that I napped several times in the hammocks! I was sad that I had to come back to civilization, but im already trying to plan my next trip out!

The eagles nest cabin was beautiful, peaceful, quiet and very nice to sleep in with a great view of the property below

There is so much to say about this but I'll try to keep it consise. This campsite was amazing. Very freeing and safe! Everything included was perfect. Beautiful cow pasture view from the outdoor shower, clean outhouse, no mosquitos (just flies), and an amazing view/access to the river. Scott is so down to Earth and made me and my friends feel so comfortable. He was very attentive to us and made sure we felt safe. If you are down with the nudist lifestyle, this campsite is the place for you! So worth the drive!

Tranquil, loving space
Eagles Nest Overlook Cabin
We had such a peaceful stay! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and lovingly shown around the property. You can tell that there was so much love and positivity in every pocket of air. We stayed at the Eagle’s Nest, which was very private and had a wonderful view. To our delight there were hammocks inside too :). We loved the cows, birds, and frogs as well. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your corner of paradise.

Loved camping at Scott and Kimberly's. They pout great care and consideration into every aspect of your camping experience. The peace and tranquility you will find there is off the charts. It was hard to leave and go back to reality. The sandy ground is like an oasis, the sounds of nature are amazing, both day and night and the hospitality is superb.

I camped at prairie meadow campsite this weekend. It is A great spot.there is shade and sunshine in this site for sunbathers and shade to cool down. Get to watch for deer , birds and cows with calves. The calves were fun to watch playing and running around the pasture. Also got to see 3 deer in the field and a blue heron fly over. Also got to see a Bald eagle pass over the timber.

Our group of 8 booked all three camping sites for the weekend and LOVED our stay. The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. Scott is incredibly thoughtful and has put a tremendous amount of care into making this an awesome and comfortable place to camp. We loved how much space there was to explore and that we were right on the water. Our only regret was not staying an extra night!

A Little Slice of Paradise
Eagles Nest Overlook Cabin
We stayed in the Cabin, and, after being helped to settle in and given the tour, spent 2 days in the most pleasant and relaxing setting I've seen in years! Scott was very accomodating, and the property is very well maintained. Just make sure to bring plenty of bug spray. The mosquitoes weren’t awful, until after a brief rain when the wind died, at which point we had to retreat to the cabin to avoid being ravenously dined on 😅 9/10, if you like nature, camping, don't mind the lack of powered sites, and aren'tparticularly shy, then head to JT Ridges, you won't regret it!

Amazing Weekend Stay!

The property was expansive and had a beautiful layout! The campsites down below were spread out but close enough to each other to give you a community feel when camping amongst others. The river was beautiful and refreshing in the summer heat, and the view of the bovine pasture behind the property also added to the country feel. I only met Scott, but he was a gracious host and made sure to stop by every so often to make sure all of us campers had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend any fellow nudist to book a weekend camping on Scott and Kimberly's property! I will definitely be returning for another weekend stay!

Feeling comfortable without
Eagles Nest Overlook Cabin
Scott and Kimberly were wonderful hosts. They made us first time naturists feel very comfortable and welcome. My wife has always said she did not want to give naturism a try but once we got there she was willing to. All because of the comfortable nature of our hosts and the property. We loved it so much we have already booked 2 more trips this summer

Scott and Kimberly are great hosts. The property is beautiful. I love that they welcome everyone of every expression with great emphasis on “be yourself” and mutual respect of fellow campers. Campgrounds were booked so I stopped for day pass. Really enjoyed walking the property and relaxing in the hammocks.
