We will be back!
Scott and Kim were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the initial registration, answering questions, and through our stay. Scott even transported all off our camp gear (and us) on the ATV from our car down the 1/4 mile trail to the campsite. My wife and I were looking for a campsite while canoeing and discovered JT Ridge. The added benefit of a shuttle service from our canoe drop off was perfect for an afternoon paddle and a place to camp plus some time in the sun. We liked that the site was about 8' above water level which provided a bit of a barrier from the occasional water traffic. The total camp area was somewhat smaller than expected but we felt there was adequate space between sites especially with the trees. Scott even came down and put up two new hammocks for us. The camp area is a hard sand base, well maintained, with ample firewood. The picnic tables, fire ring, and grilling grates were good to have. The bugs were't too bad but bring repellent and your own water. The bathroom was rustic but extremely clean. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the details of your stay and the camping experience. I'm sure it will only get better. Appreciated their adhering to the Leave No Trace principals and providing a great place for new or seasoned naturists to enjoy. Please respect and enjoy this rare treasure of a place in the middle of Iowa. J

Peaceful Place
Very peaceful atmosphere. Scott was a gracious host (I never got to meet Kimberly). He showed me around the property. There was recent flooding that limited where I can hike, and recent erosion along the river bank closed off the frontage from my tent site, so a dip into the river was not advised. The only suggestion I have is the place can use a public shower facility; otherwise, I would return if I’m in the area.

Great riverside camping!
This is a well thought out camp. It stretches along a river on one side and a pasture on the other, both beautiful. The host was very nice and helped me get situated at the site by driving me to the site on an ATV, with all my gear towed behind in a wagon. I highly recommend the massage as well. I was travelling by motorcycle and had been riding everyday for over a week. I was knotted and sore from being on the bike. Scott worked all of the muscles but paid extra attention to the spots that get sore from riding. I had never been to a clothing optional campsite before but did make use of the perk. The campsite offers plenty of privacy to allow you to get comfortable with it. If ever I pass through Iowa again, I will definitely be stopping here! Darn, I forgot to mention the sound of the river as you sleep, so relaxing!

A wonderful experience! The location is in a beautiful section of rolling hills and timber along the Wapsipinicon River in Jones County. The river has a voice of its own that provides a tranquil vibe. Along the river banks it is a more filtered shade/sun setting. Above in the ‘commons area is full sun. Scott is welcoming and puts you at ease(it was my first time). I met another young couple(their first experience as well) and they felt this was a great place to be as well. I do plan to be back.

Day Pass Visit
Such a nice experience on Scott and Kimberly’s land! My husband and I enjoyed our first time at clothing optional as it was private and relaxing. Scott was a friendly host & we could tell they put a lot of work into maintaining the property. Outdoor toilets were clean and sanitary. Trails were fun to walk & camp site by river was relaxing, offering a lot of shade. The lounge chairs on top of the hill is the perfect area to soak in the sun and get a full tan. Absolutely will return in the future!

We had a fabulous and peaceful night into morning hours, a short stay, but well enjoyed. Scott and his wife have made sure to make their land easily and freely enjoyed by their guests, very thoughtful. Due to arriving late, he even made our fire for us since it was dark. Despite the waters being higher than usual and no available beach, we enjoyed the sounds of the river, frogs, and birds. Clothing optional was a fun experience. Freeing for sure.
