We had an amazing visit at Roy’s Acres. Well maintained land with roomy camping sites. Bathroom was very clean which meant a lot to my wife. Steve and Ellen, the owners, were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back multiple times. Already planning the next visit.

Second time staying at Roy’s Acres. Steve is always very friendly. Campsites are nice and clean, bathroom well kept, with a shower on the way! Can’t wait to visit again.

Our trip to Roy's acres was the precursor to an amazing camping anniversary road trip and Roy's acres didn't disappoint. It was the perfect way to comfortably get our first camp night bug out of our system. It was clean, had electricity in the site we chose and strung lights that made for amazing ambiance. While there was no shower (which they are currently remedying) the restrooms were extremely clean and had flush toilets.
The camp his host Steve was not only friendly and inviting but supplied us with free wood. I would definitely recommend it for a quick stay or long one if your wanting a comfortable clean hip camp.

Steve and Ellen were absolutely amazing during the entirety of our stay. Their help and welcoming personality gave us the best weekend getaway. Steve was generous and allowed us to use his paddle boat on the beautiful pond and wood for the campfire. Keep a good eye out at night for a clear sky of stars. Had a great time on this acre, fishing, camping, cooking, and all. Highly recommend!

We loved camping at roys acres. It was so peaceful and quiet all weekend. The wife and dogs really enjoyed relaxing around the fire. And the stars were amazing out there.

Steve did a nice job with this campsite! A very relaxing spot next to the pond with a real bathroom close by. It’s just a short drive to a quaint little town if you want to get out a bit. We had a great stay and would highly recommend Ron’s Acres!

Lovely quiet wooded area with a scenic pond. Had access to electric but did not need it. Bathroom was clean. Would stay again if traveling this way. Thanks, Steve, for the tip about Saturday morning fresh-made donut holes at Fox's Greenhouse and Bakery just a mile down the road!

This place was perfect for our trip! Steve was a wonderful host. The bathhouse was clean and well stocked. The campsite was well taken care of. The sites were spread out. The sunrises were gorgeous! We would stay again if we're ever in the area.

Beautiful campsite. So quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed the large space we had all to ourselves. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. We will definitely be back.

Very nice space to camp and relax by the pond. I would recommend this spot . It was well encrypted with a fire pit picnic table and firewood.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Steve and his wife greeted us upon arrival. Camp area is near Fayette. Very quiet with lots of matue trees. Electric hookup at our site worked well. There is a clean restroom. Firewood and string lights at each campsite was nice. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to camp and the host is very kind and welcoming. The space is well laid out. I was the only camper there when I visited, but the sites are setup so that even had there been other guests, we all would have had our own space. The string of lights over the space by the pond was a nice touch and I enjoyed turning them on at night.
There is no shower here (as the listing states) but the bathroom is very clean and well kept and not too far from any of the sites.
It was overall a very relaxing space and one I would definitely visit again in the future. I hope to stay here again if I'm passing through.

Had a great experience, host was awesome and plenty of space for our rigs. Spent Labor Day weekend relaxing by the fire and enjoyed the shaded area. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful, beautiful location! Very very quiet and peaceful right in the heartland! If you ever wanted to stay on a farm in the Midwest this is the place! Well cared for land and friendly host! The bathroom would make any suburban soccer mom happy

Steve welcome us minutes after we arrived. Very down to earth couple. Everything was perfect. We took the campsite up by the pole barns which was perfect for my son and I. The bathroom was clean. The property was quiet and peaceful. We did a little fishing in the pond, enjoyable, but don't expect to have a meal. My son enjoyed watching the fish take the bait all morning. The pond is very clear. I would recommend this sight, you should have no issues at all.

What a terrific experience. Steve and his wife were friendly and welcoming, the campsite was perfect and they even provided firewood at no extra cost. Highly recommend staying here. We certainly will again if we’re passing through the area.

We’ll done Steve & family for creating a really lovely space. I guess we were their inaugural guests. He greeted us and showed us around. We had a very restful night. Lighting and electric hook ups are great. We had a nice walk around the corn field in the morning before getting back on the road. Oh and there’s a lovely river spot for warmer weather. Would be a lot of fun for groups or kids.
