We loved staying at Shawn’s place. The kids had a blast playing on his G Croquet course. It is quiet and very well kept. Having a dumpster right there as you leave is huge. We had a great stay and will definitely be back. You can tell he loves having you and we enjoyed a great night out at the campfire. Definite must stay!!

Had a great time at this little farm! Bryan, Kim and all the kids were great and would do anything to make your overnight the best. It was very hot but Bryan supplied electric so we could run the AC. The kids showed off their cute little puppies and we stopped across the street to pick up some fresh produce. We went to Fort Wayne the next day to raid the Antique and coffee shops. This is a great very quiet place to stay and will do it again in the future.

I, my wife, and two dogs needed a quick place to roll into, get a good sleep, and roll out of on our second stop from WY to VA. Songdog was perfect! Beth answered my last minute message quickly and was very welcoming. We were pulling a 19’ off road trailer with our Land Cruiser and simply pulled straight into the gate and positioned the trailer so that it opened onto the nicely mowed path to one of the ponds.
I meandered around that evening and the property is gorgeous; fantastic for tent camping. Though I’d REALLY suggest not in June…unless you own stock in Off! or permethrin! The mosquitoes were out in force, but we were able to escape into the trailer and enjoy a stunning sunset and be lulled to sleep by bullfrogs.
The firefly show in the morning was like nothing I’ve ever seen. We’d, gladly, spend more time here if future travel permits!
And don’t let the distance to the road fool you. I don’t recall a single vehicle ever driving by!

They have a really nice property ( would be perfect for a family with kids). We just stayed 1 night as a stopover to break up a long trip. They were wonderful hosts, very friendly and kind. There is at least one 20 amp electric hookup available. Just a really lovely homestead kind of vibe.

1 night at Creekside Acres / N. Manchester
Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the entire stay. We stayed just one night, but the thoughtful touches were very much appreciated. We built a fire in the fire pit with help from Kurt as my Girl Scout days are long past. Heidi and their beautiful daughters were friendly and busy following a graduation party just the night before. The grounds are perfect in the sense of natural beauty that are tended to for enjoyment. We took advantage of the country road and walked towards town to see the covered bridge. We weren’t disappointed. Our evening after the fire was spent playing a friendly game of Battleship and I now have the title of beating my husband for the first time ever. Thankful for the time away and for Kurt and Heidi. Lovely hosts who followed a path that helps many in the perfect way. Oh and those chickens! The fresh eggs! Worth every single moment.

My 10-year old son and I loved tent camping on Whitney and Jered’s property. It’s obvious how much love and care has gone into their home and the surrounding land, and we feel really lucky that they shared it with us. Their welcome was warm, and all of the instructions and signage was really clear and helpful. This property is within the entrance to Chain O Lakes SP and was a peaceful, private alternative to the main campground. The tent camping site is really generous, and even includes a short path to a cozy bench that offers a great opportunity to stargaze on a clear night. The bathroom and clubhouse are clean and well appointed, including a small kitchen with all the necessities. We would love to visit again!

Bryan and Family are AMAZING! They are wonderful hosts and such a beautiful place. They have some nice trails through the fields and into woods. FYI watch the sunset over the corn field! They will build you a fire if you wanted. We even had a flat tire and they went WELL above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We will come back anytime we are in Bluffton again!

We had a wonderful time tent camping for the weekend!! Marla’s property is beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful. The campsites are spaced out nicely for privacy, the grounds are well-kept, and the location is an easy drive to downtown. Plus, they have carts to help haul your things to/from your vehicle, as well as firewood provided!! We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience using Hipcamp. Definitely recommend!!
