Blue Water Lake is located next to the Salamonie River with fishing access in the lake or the river. Blue Water Lake was previously Baltes Stone Quarry with one side being 18 feet and the other side 30 feet deep. Lime stone edged with a straight down drop off in most places. Less than a mile from Montpelier, a golf cart community. Beach area available for swimming access. No lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk. Primitive camping available. Out house available.

Beautiful private spot! Canoeing was great as well as the fishing! Well definitely go back in the future! Thank you Amanda and Justin for your amazing hospitality!

I camped here as I was passing though. Easy to get to and I had a great spot next to the lake. I didn’t have time for any fishing although the hosts made it clear that I was welcome. Hosts were gracious and informative. Had a relaxing stay and would camp here again.

There's several spots.her land is by a river and they lake,well you have totally to yourself.the starts are so vibrant&bright.i felt at peace and sometimes one just needs to be alone with him or herself to align back
