Friendly, peaceful get away

Shawn and Toby really care about the property and their visitors, and are very friendly and responsive. Shawn's thoughtful approach to making a pleasant experience for visitors is evident from the placement of the tent sites, croquet field, driveways, and dumping station. He went out of his way to make sure we knew everything we needed to, from the Thursday trivia night at the Local pub, where to get the best ice cream or pizza, and where to pick up sundries. Everyone we met were very friendly.
We stayed in the first trailer rental of the season and he made us feel at home, though also gave us our privacy. The site is very peaceful in general, though just off the highway and surrounded by farms, with easy access and directions. While we were here, we took advantage of visiting museums, the Ohio Caverns, Indian Lake. Shawn is a great guide and he and Toby take pride in maintaining the beautiful site. Thank you!

Private Quiet Serene Stay

We had a relaxing time at Shawn's Schoolhouse Camp. We were provided easy understandable directions and a great rate . We were greeted by the onsite property manager who was very nice . We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves and had our pick of sites. The property was very well kept. Very clean grounds. Beautiful mature trees and landscaping.
There was a wonderful fire pit with cooktop so all that was needed was our utensils .The brats turned out magnificent! Nice picnic table area and chairs to relax in. Ample room for our pup to play . Had a nice bonfire later in the evening.
When in the area we will most definitely look to see if he has availability for another stay.

We stopped for 1 night on our way home from Michigan back to Columbus just to break up the drive. Very peaceful, great sunset, nice shade, and the dogs loved it too. Shawn was very friendly and accommodating. Water and electric hook up and we could dump on our way out which is a great perk! Definitely recommend stay here.

This is a great spot for getting away from the busy campgrounds. Idyllic setting underneath trees and surrounded by corn fields. Shawn is a friendly and communicative host. Easy in and out for our trailer and not far from gas stations, a grocery store, and restaurants. Electric and water hookups available, plus a dump on the way out. Tons of outdoor areas including a garden bench and firepit. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! Nice shady spot. Friends and fire. Dog loved the smells. It really is a great place to stay. Hated to leave!

We loved staying at Shawn’s place. The kids had a blast playing on his G Croquet course. It is quiet and very well kept. Having a dumpster right there as you leave is huge. We had a great stay and will definitely be back. You can tell he loves having you and we enjoyed a great night out at the campfire. Definite must stay!!

We had the pleasure of staying a week with Shawn. We were the only campers and other than some country road noise it’s a great stop. Shawn has so much here. Easy in and out (btw we are a 44 ft toyhauler), water and electric, plus a dump station on the way out. If you are a two rig caravan this would be perfect. He had two pedestals. He has a nice patio with corn hole and a cool course of… I forget what he called it… sort of a put put mini golf mixed with croquet. I think we were his longest (and biggest) stay and it was a really nice alternative to the crowded campgrounds.

Shawn was a great host, friendly and loved to talk. There is an indoor pool if you want to swim. The country side is quiet and there is a bicycle trail close buy. We loved being there.
