Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people. We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. We are located only 0.2mi from Dogtown boat ramp and 300ft from Nu Plaza marina. Biking, walking/hiking trails, local park, and pool nearby. On our property, we allow our campers the flexibility to pick their own perfect spot to camp. There are large mature trees that offer plenty of shade and flat ground for an easy setup. Each site has a firepit, picnic table, and nearby trash can. A firewood bundle is included and complimentary smores packages upon request. Our property features 2 communal areas each with a fire pit, charcoal grill, tables, chairs, and lights. There is access to electric power strips and water hoses in each communal area. Please be prepared for a hike to Fire on the Mountain and Franklin's Tower. It's worth it! We can assist with getting your gear up the hill with our ATV, but unfortunately, we do not have the resources to move people to the top of the hill.* Please note: We are an active honeybee farm and bees will be buzzing around. I can not guarentee they will not sting, but I live here full time and have never been stung outside of opening a hive. So please be aware if you are allergic. We are perfectly situated among the trees with very little light pollution and minutes from all the things that make Brown County, IN a destination for folks from all over the country! Also residing on the farm are a flock of chickens, several goats and a horse. The newest addition to the farm is a pain of small breed Kune Kune pigs! If you want to, you can help with the daily chores of feeding the animals and collecting eggs. After that, you can explore the big red barn that was selected as one of the top-ten Bicentennial barns in the state. Roam around the 120 acre homestead, woods and creek and soak in the sights, sounds and smells of the farm. Be sure to visit our farm store before you leave where you can shop for alpaca products such as sweaters, hats, mittens and scarves. Pick up some honey made from bees on our farm or some farm fresh eggs from our flock of pastured chickens! Heritage Farm has several options for overnight lodging. One of the most popular places to stay is in our authentic 1850's log cabin. And it's certainly special to us as well. The cabin represents a valued part of our heritage. This program has been taking place at the farm since 2006 serving children with various physical therapy needs. The farm has a short nature trail with a wood chipped path. Visitors may go on foot or use their own bicycles or golf cart to ride the perimeter of the property or the mowed paths. Our location is convenient to county roads for foot or bicycle touring. Located just 20-30 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport, downtown Indianapolis, the Indianapolis 500, drag racing, state parks, horseback riding, and numerous small town fairs, The Covered Bridge Festival, and farmers markets. Our unique location offers a picturesque view of downtown Evansville and Dutch’s Island. Set in a no-wake zone, the shallow beachy island also serves as a barrier from the river channel creating calm lake-like waters. We are located only 0.2mi from Dogtown boat ramp and 300ft from Nu Plaza marina. Biking, walking/hiking trails, local park, and pool nearby. On our property, we allow our campers the flexibility to pick their own perfect spot to camp. There are large mature trees that offer plenty of shade and flat ground for an easy setup. Each site has a firepit, picnic table, and nearby trash can. A firewood bundle is included and complimentary smores packages upon request. Our property features 2 communal areas each with a fire pit, charcoal grill, tables, chairs, and lights. There is access to electric power strips and water hoses in each communal area. Kayaks are available to registered campers only first come, first serve. Price is $25 or a single kayak, $50 for a tandem. Includes lifejackets. We look forward to having you!

You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end). We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people. We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin.
