Easy access from I 90 but not nearly close enough to hear it. Campsite sits 500-600 feet off a county road with a easy driveway and plenty of turn around space. It's a basically level area with several options for how to park. Large pine trees provide shade but let plenty of light through. There is filtered road noise, but the crickets and coyotes are the main thing you'll hear at night.
50 amp power is available and included. The outlet and a 50' heavy duty cord are on the corner of the house. A 30-to-50 amp converter is also there. It doesn't reach to the entire camping area so you'll need to park a bit closer to the house if using it.

We offer year round electrical hook-ups, and fresh water in Spring, Summer and Fall (the pipes are winterized from approximately the end of October-March, depending on the snow season). While there is only 1 electrical hook-up, there is space for an additional vehicle, and options for parking locations if electrical is not required. During your stay, keep an eye out for our neighborhood moose family, our year-round bald eagles, and our many deer, quail, and turkey friends.
Winter camping is available, but please note that we can receive large amounts of snow.

This is a beautiful slice of heaven minuts off the Interstate and close to all other amenities. Gently sloping topography with grasslands and evergreens abound. The campsite is situated on its own private corner of the property encompassing about an acre. Escape to our peaceful, privately owned forest retreat, located just 10 miles north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and only 2.5 miles (about an 8-minute drive) from Silverwood Theme Park. A gas station and grocery store are also conveniently located nearby.

We offer six spacious RV sites, each measuring at least40' x 10' (Spaces 2-6 get progressively longer up to approx. 70 feet), with grassy space between sites for added privacy. Every RV site includes:

This 10 acre parcel is on a south facing slope with a forest of growing trees that are all 12 feet apart. Wildlife like deer, turkeys, and an occasional moose are common. One can walk through the woods or just sit and listen to nature all around. It's a great place for hammock camping! Two miles to the East is Lake Coeur d'Alene with great boating, kayaking, and fishing. Loffs Bay has a public boat ramp and lake access.
This is not a good site for RV's! It is great for a jeep/subaru/small SUV. The trees are 12 feet apart and turning around would be difficult with an RV or trailer!

This campsite was great! It was a little less private than I had hoped- you looked directly into the neighbors property and both campsites were very close, but it was super cute! The property itself was beautiful and we saw many animals! My only other thing is that there really is zero service on the site. Overall though I would stay again!

Our adventure at Mad Moose Ranch was absolutely amazing. Vicki and Ron were incredible hosts — welcoming, friendly, and instantly felt like family. The property was spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful woods.
We brought our mountain e‑bikes and spent two days riding outstanding trails. Being able to hop on our bikes and access what felt like endless routes for every skill level was a dream.
And on our last morning, we were blessed with the most magical surprise — two cow elk and their babies wandered right behind our camper. It was the perfect icing on the adventure cake.
We’ll definitely be coming back. Full hookups, gorgeous scenery, and hosts who truly care — it doesn’t get better than this. Thank you again, Vicki and Ron. You two are amazing.

I wasn’t able to stay at Bill’s because our truck and 5th wheel combo was too long to make the turn. Bill was gracious enough to provide a cancellation. We may have been able to go up one of the circles and come down the hill to his driveway but all parties involved decided a different location would be best.
