Peaceful Forest RV & Tent Camping Near Silverwood Escape to our peaceful, privately owned forest retreat, located just 10 miles north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and only 2.5 miles (about an 8-minute drive) from Silverwood Theme Park. A gas station and grocery store are also conveniently located nearby. Surrounded by towering old-growth trees, our secluded property offers a quiet, natural setting where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of North Idaho. Whether you're here for adventure or simply looking to unwind, you'll find plenty of space and privacy. RV Camping We offer six spacious RV sites, each measuring at least40' x 10' (Spaces 2-6 get progressively longer up to approx. 70 feet), with grassy space between sites for added privacy. Every RV site includes: Individual water hookup 30-amp electrical service with a standard 110-volt outlet at each site There are Septic hookups at each RV space and a dump station on the property for a 10$ fee. Room for one additional vehicle per reservation If children in your family would like to set up a small tent next to your RV, there is no additional charge. If additional family members or friends are traveling with you and would like to stay in their own tent near your RV site, they are welcome to camp together. However, each additional tent must be reserved through our separate tent camping listing and is subject to the $25 per tent camping fee. Tent Camping We also have a beautiful grassy meadow dedicated to tent camping, perfect for guests who want a more traditional camping experience. Tent campers have access to: A shared water and electrical station An indoor restroom with a flush toilet and sink Tent camping is $25 per tent, and reservations for multiple tent sites should be made through the separate tent camping listing. We offer a clean bathroom with a flush toilet On-site retired veteran homeowner available if assistance is needed while still respecting guests' privacy Whether you're spending the day at Silverwood Theme Park, exploring the Coeur d'Alene area, or simply looking for a quiet place to reconnect with nature, our forest retreat is the perfect home base for your North Idaho adventure.

Tent Camping Meadow

Our tent camping meadows are relatively flat, grassy area bordered by dense forest along the back and one side, offering a quiet, natural setting with plenty of privacy. A few large shade trees are scattered throughout the meadow, making it a great spot for picnicking, lounging, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Just across the driveway, you’ll find a restroom with running cold water and a flush toilet, located on the side of the shop building. A potable water spigot and access to electricity are also available nearby for shared use. If the main meadow is full, guests are welcome to set up in a nearby field with towering old trees on the property, which includes some flat areas suitable for tent camping. If an additional family or group traveling with you wishes to camp in a tent, they will need to make a separate tent camping reservation for each tent ($25.00 per tent). We are happy to make exceptions for young children sleeping in a small tent as part of their parents' campsite. Two vehicles are allowed per tent site and must be parked in the designated parking area.

This RV site offers a minimum 10x55 foot parking space, perfect for most rigs. Between each site, a grassy strip adds privacy and a touch of green. Just across from the RV area, you'll find a spacious field shaded by towering old-growth trees — an ideal spot for relaxing, picnicking, or taking a peaceful stroll under the canopy. Guests have access to a clean indoor restroom with a flush toilet and sink, conveniently located on the side of the shop building near the RV sites. Each space includes a dedicated power pedestal, septic hookup, and a frost-free water spigot at the back for easy hookup. If children in your family would like to set up a small tent next to your RV, there is no additional charge. However, If additional family members or friends are traveling with you and would like to stay in their own tent near your RV site, they are welcome to camp together. However, each additional tent must be reserved through our separate tent camping listing and is subject to the $25 per tent camping fee. Well-behaved dogs are welcome! Please keep them on a leash at all times and ensure they remain quiet to maintain the peaceful atmosphere for all guests. RV Space# 1 is a bit tight for large camp trailers or 5th wheels at 10x40. It would be more suitable for pickup over-the-cab campers or trailers. The electrical is a 30amp w a 110 plug in as well. Our 1 n8ght stay was very pleasant. We were there prior to listed checkin time, and Larry was very accommodating so we could unhook our 5th wheel and get to Silverwood. The site and property was very clean and well planned out as far as trailer / tent camping. We would highly recommend this camp and will certainly stay again.

It was exactly as described. Spot #1 had the best shade of the RV spots, and it only got warm from about 5-7. I have a 20 ft trailer and fit just perfect. Larry was a pleasure to get to know and helpful, too! He takes good care of his property, and the bathroom was clean also. I saw deer including fawns and hawks from my site. It’s close to Silverwood and Farragut State park.

We enjoyed our stay at Cardwell Spur! It was quite, peaceful and very close to silverwood theme park. The owner Larry, came by to greet us and ask us if there was anything needed. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike down the gravel road and their was plenty of open space for the boys to throw a football and run around. It was perfect for our needs.

The setting was beautiful; Larry was very kind; and they have done a fabulous job setting up the perfect camp site! We tent camped and the ground was perfect for doing so! Also, a flushing toilet and water were amazing to have as well.

Great property right down the street from Silverwood! We hit the jackpot with this place.. found it just a few days before the 4th of July weekend. Larry, the owner of the property, is a wonderful host. We felt so welcomed and comfortable! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gem close to Silverwood!

Larry was so kind and so nice! The campsites were perfect and it was so peaceful. The bathroom was clean. As a female camping with two kids, sometimes I can get nervous, but I felt so safe here. Larry made sure we had everything we needed. It was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Larry's a nice guy who checks to make sure everything OK. There was only one other person there, camping in a tent. There is some highway noise. There is no shower, one sink and one toilet which was clean. It ends up being over $50 with fee and tax for an RV site.

Larry is awesome and his camping spots are clean and well maintained. We had a quiet time there, enjoyed being close to towns and stores to take care of errands. There is distant street noise from the highway so if you are looking for total silence not your place. However the convenience, affordability, and kindness of the owners makes up for that small imperfection.

Thank you, Larry, for being very accommodating, you have a nice property not far from the freeway, and surrounded with trees. And birds and turkeys etc. My dogs loved your property Also, I just have to keep my lab out of your little pond. Thank you, I enjoyed my 2 days there. And I also appreciate the fact that you and your neighbor moved a tree, You fell the day before. So that I could use the bathroom being the only person there. That was really nice. Andy
