We have a gorgeous hot outdoor shower, a Nature's Head luxury compost toilet and a beautiful spot on a secure, gated farm. We also offer private yoga sessions, can book onsite massages, create adventure iteneraries etc. The studio has fast wifi and solar energy to charge your devices. There is a secondary glampsite in a large tent with a genuine full bed that is sometimes available, and sometimes occupied by WOOFERS. It has it's own separate bathrom and shower, and is in a different part of the farm.

When you reserve a cabin its is all yours (not shared). The common areas are shared by other guests and the caretaker. Yes we are a family friendly nudist venue. What does this mean? Simply put, we are just like other camping venues, except you can leave your clothing behind. Never tried it before? We welcome "every body" and are a wholesome non-sexual venue accredited with the American Association for Nude Recreation. Note. If you are considering a month long stay or more, you must meet the following requirements before we will approve you: 1. Couples of 2 or families of 3 only. The loft is small and best suited for a child who can navigate comfortably up and down a loft ladder. 2. Adults subject to background check. with ID required. 3. Must be clothing optional friendly and be comfortable around other guests who are naturist. 4. Must agree to property rules detailed on Airbnb. 5. Must be willing to remove own trash, wash own linens (we provide), and clean up after yourself if cooking. We have many first-timers and pride ourselves on promoting body positivity and acceptance. Yes we welcome entire families. From infants to grandparents and all in-between, come see why nude is not lude and discover the many positive effects this culture can bring to your family. Do I have to be nude right away? No. The only areas it's mandatory is in our pool and hot tub. All other areas clothing is optional. If you have not tried it before, feel free to message us with questions. We want you to be comfortable. This listing is for 1 cabin at our retreat and accommodates up to 3 people (2 adults 1 child). The cabin is all yours but the outdoor areas are shared. Message us if you want to book more than one cabin Other helpful things to know: We are at 2500 ft altitude which means A/C is not needed. We are just 7 miles from Volcano National Park!

The family who own and operate Southern Comfort fell in love with the property while visiting friends and family over 25 years ago. They knew they would eventually want to retire here from the mainland one day. Fast forward to 2001 and they started their developments. After building their dream home, they knew they wanted to share the beauty to extended family and friends so they created their first site "Papaya Patch", converting their storage container into a private comfy stay and then built their 2nd site “Valley View Bungalow”. Both sites offer a queen bed and their own bathroom and outdoor shower access . Ocean views from the Papaya Patch and Valley Views from the bungalow. Southern Comfort is within 1 hour from Kīlauea Volcanoes National Park, approximately 10 minutes to volcano Park Kahuku Unit, 9 miles to South Point, 10 minutes into Naalehu town, and the perfect mid-point between Kona and Hilo. Plenty of beaches and hiking close by! I’m almost always available to offer some friendly tips and advice for your next adventure!

1 night at 'Aumakua Acres

I had an amazing stay at this charming place, easily accessible by 2WD. The room was comfortable, spotless, and quiet. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
