Our road is paved, but bumpy. Any vehicle will make it without damage if driven slowly. 1 to 4mph tops. *Be sure to avoid the camper rental companies that restrict certain roads.

We have a hidden exotic fruit orchard tucked away through rolling green hills, perched over the Hamakua cliffs, overlooking the pacific.
We sell our fruits ripe and cut ready to eat at our roadside fruit stand, open 11-6 daily including holidays! We serve local fresh juices and machete open coconuts to drink ice cold.
We grow mango, durian, lilikoi, star fruit, chocolate sapote, buddhas hand citrus, finger limes, tangerines and tangelos, jackfruit, tree grapes, mangosteen, white pineapples, mountain apples, berries, spices and much more. We are home to dozens of rescue animals, many who came from Puna during the 2018 lava flow. We have peaceful sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and a lovable pet pig. Not to mention our friendly farm cats.
Our current camp sites are not in the fruit orchard, but in a rolling hills open pasture land near the fruit stand. It is rustic and pastoral.
We are a community of a few passionate farmers and fruit lovers. There’s a family- myself Rose, my partner Matthew and our daughter Mela, plus several awesome guys and girls who help out in different areas to grow our lives together!

We are home to dozens of rescue animals, many who came from Puna during the 2018 lava flow. We have peaceful sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and a lovable pet pig. Not to mention our friendly farm cats.
Our current camp sites are not in the fruit orchard, but in a rolling hills open pasture land near the fruit stand. It is rustic and pastoral.
We are a community of a few passionate farmers and fruit lovers. There’s a family- myself Rose, my partner Matthew and our daughter Mela, plus several awesome guys and girls who help out in different areas to grow our lives together!

Our land is home to Wild Webs—custom, hand-woven net installations crafted slowly and intentionally. These webs are designed as lounging and resting spaces, woven into the environment to complement the land rather than dominate it. Guests are invited to relax nearby, watch the weaving process unfold, and enjoy the calm rhythm of hands-on craftsmanship in the forest.
This is not a finished resort or a high-traffic attraction. Wild Webs Camp is evolving, and part of its charm is witnessing something being built over time. You may see us measuring, knotting, tensioning, and shaping the webs as the days pass—an experience that many guests find grounding, meditative, and inspiring.
Surrounded by native forest, lava rock, and the powerful presence of the nearby volcano, the camp offers deep quiet, dark skies, and a strong connection to the elements. Vog, mist, rain, and shifting weather are part of life here and add to the raw beauty of the experience.

Quiet camping and friendly people. We had a quiet night in the field. Keep the gate closed so the livestock can’t escape. No potable water but there is a port-a-potty. Buy some delicious tropical fruit!

We stayed in a campervan on the old tennis court. It was the perfect place to camp in a van, level, no bugs, close to amenities and an ocean view. Picking macadamia nuts and swimming in the pool were highlights for the kids. The property is in a great area with lots of activities. Highly recommend.

The field was great and I appreciated the wifi and porta potty. I never heard a response to my question from Rose though, and I'm still not sure if I stayed in the correct location, that part was a bit awkward. There were 2 gates and the map coordinates provided pointed to way further back than I could reach, but it worked out and was a nice stay.

I made a last minute reservation when I decided I was done driving for the day and found myself nearby. I was able to connect with Adam right away, and he patiently explained how to find them. They were right off the highway, a few minutes down a rough road that I suspect is pretty normal by Hawaii standards! I had peace and quiet for car camping. One house off in the distance, a little traffic noise from the road but it faded in the evening. It was just what I needed! Thanks so much.

The hosts are awesome. Amazing. The location has lots of beautiful places to hang out, and the proximity to amazing stuff like the green sand beach, black sand beach, and my favorite, the bakery. Lol. Go spend at least 2 days here to really enjoy it.

We had a wonderful stay at Green/Black Sand Pt. Hipcamp. The site is on the Belt Road and very convenient to local attractions. It has flush toilet and shower facilities as well as a covered patio. We were there during the recent Kona Low storm so the added amenities were very welcome. Robert and Nancy were wonderfully gracious hosts.

Our 2 night stay at Yip Camp Eco Retreat was perfect. Close to Volcano Natl Park for a full day of exploring the craters, lava tubes, ocean road vistas. Site was private with toilet and shower available. Tom was a helpful, affable host. Would definitely stay again.

It was a really neat place to stay! There are friendly goats on the property, but they won’t bother you. The property managers are very nice people. I definitely recommend getting something from the fruit stand while you’re here, too!

Nice rural property. Thomas the host is a very nice accommodating guy. He kindly offered his larger tent with good rain protection to the person in my party who only had a small backpacking tent that was already wet from rain the day before. Rustic place but fine. Only a few miles from Volcano National Park.

We were in a rented 18ft camper van. Pasture was flat enough to pull up to the picnic table. Port-o-potty was clean. Clear night so we had a great star show. No water available. Sheep were very curious and entertaining. Fairly primitive but we like that, just us and the stars!

I was looking for a quiet spot to do Tai chi as the sun was rising then finish my book. This spot was perfect, with a georgeous view, permaculture vibe and a small pavilion to chill in. A nice breeze was blowing thru the evening and the sound of the cane grass and banana tree leaves is a memory ill carry for a long time.
I even came back a few nights later and used this as base camp before a great hike in the Kau desert which was on my hike list for a long time.
I highly recomend this spot for anyone looking for peice and quite.

The meadow is soft for sleeping on and in the morning we could see the ocean in the distance. Lots of different plants and trees including a big tree that smells like cinnamon and sounds like a rain stick when the breeze blows. It is a long bumpy road but Colin will give good directions. There is a grocery store mall not far away for supplies (and rest rooms)
