2 nights at Farm @ Chickamauga Battlefield

This was the first time my wife and I went camping in a Yurt and we really enjoyed it. Taylor was great to communicate with and met us at the site even when we arrived later on in the evening. The weather was a bit wet and humid on our trip, but Taylor helped us out by washing and drying the bedding the next day so we had a better fluffy, dry sleep. I think if we camped in the fall we would have had an even cozier time, but between the box-fan, the wood-burning stove and the vent flaps, we were able to regulate the temperature fairly well. The farm is very spacious and we loved meeting their sheep-dog Talia along with their other furry friends and critters.

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm

Had a great experience at this campsite! There were plenty of opportunities to roast food over the fire and just enjoy hanging out around the campfire, which really made for a cozy, memorable stay. We also made good use of the shower amenities and appreciated the easy access to a portable restroom — both were clean and convenient. The gas grill and generator were huge pluses and made things a lot easier during our stay. The only thing to note is that there isn’t a lot of lighting around the campsite at night. It’s definitely manageable, but I’d recommend bringing some tiki torches or other lighting sources to make navigating after dark a bit easier. Overall, it was an awesome spot and we’d definitely come back!

2 nights at Stone Mountain Glamping Site

We chose Kim’s spot because my mother lives near Stone Mountain and we wanted an adventure while visiting her for Easter. Situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood we felt completely safe being so close to Atlanta. I liked the well lit, large off street area to park. There’s plenty of room for multiple cars. Kim’s manager, Taylor, met me on-time, gave a wonderful orientation of the grounds and set up an extra hammock for us. I visited with my brother, so I rearranged the furniture a bit but the large canvas tent easily accommodated my cot. The memory foam mattress was great, the potty was easy to use and the trails through the woods were clearly marked. When I visit my mom and the weather is agreeable, I hope I can stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

This was such a beautiful and peaceful stay! It was short but so sweet, I would definitely come back and stay longer to enjoy more of the property and what they have to offer.

We loved it! It was a quaint little hideaway that wasn’t too far away. The road noise got a little loud at some times, but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the dogwood tent. It had everything we could’ve needed, if we had come unprepared. Everything was just nice and clean, even the canoe! We definitely would recommend and even plan on a return visit with family. The host was very helpful and responsive. For hipcamp bookings, the reservation number is a little different than from Ramsden Lake bookings, so for any add ons, just reach out to the host for your reservation number.

This was such a beautiful piece of land. So peaceful and well maintained. The farms animals were so cute and all the facilities were super clean and well maintained. I wish we got to stay for at least 5 nights here since it was so lovely. The grounds keeper was super helpful and very informative, he definitely made us feel welcome. The A-frame we stayed in was perfect and super comfortable. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. The Herb'n Soul Sanctuary is designed to be a sanctuary -- a sacred space for rest, renewal, and relaxation. The Sanctuary welcomes all. Your glamp-site is located in the center of a pine-oak-hickory-poplar forest adjacent to our active urban farming family, where we grow fruits and veggies, and raise goats, chickens, ducks and bees. The entire property is about 10 acres. But don't let the seclusion fool you! We are a 30min ride to the airport. You can enjoy a walk through our labyrinth that has over 80 blueberry bushes surrounding it. As an extra, you can have a tour of our family farm. Stone Mountain Park is also a short drive or bike ride from here, where there is hiking, paddling, golf, and amusement rides available. For a more local experience, the Pine Lake Beach is just a 1.5 miles away. It's a beautiful site for swimming and fishing. New to camping and not sure that you can cook an adequate meal over a fire? No problem. This site provides access to the best of country luxury alongside the city conveniences of DoorDash and UberEats, all in one place. We have a propane heater for the colder months and 2 battery powered fans for hot days.

NW GA Farm Stay

Footehills Farmhouse is a small family owned and operated farm in Northwest, GA, in the little town of Taylorsville. We are stewards of 18 beautiful acres, and nestled between hills covered in hardwoods and Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery. We are very close to Atlanta, GA, Red Top Mountain State Park, The Booth Museum, Tellus Science Museum and the City of Cartersville, GA. Enjoy our local winery and brewery as well. GA mountains and apple country are a short 1.5 hour drive from our location. Our farm is a small local market style farm, hosting many TN Fainting Goats (enjoy all the kids in the spring), Sheep and spring lambs, around 40 or so chickens and piggies depending on the season. We also grow figs, herbs garlic and veggies. Please note this is an RV site only no tent camping and no latrine tents allowed. We also have a one dog policy. Thank you for looking at our property.

The bathhouse offers hot showers, a flush toilet, and sink. The open pole barn has a deluxe camping kitchen set up with pots and pans, a propane stove, a coffee maker, and a dishwashing sink. There is also a dining table and chairs. While the property is close and convenient to Chattanooga, once you are enjoying the serene woods, shady trees, starry nights, and quality time with family and friends you will forget all about the city! While there are no full-time residents on the property, there is a small functioning horse farm about 100 yards from the camping area. On most days the owner will stop by to care for the horses, and teach riding lessons.
