One room, tiny cabin, 10‘ x 16‘ ( it's small) with bathroom , kitchenette , shower, space heater and air conditioning twin bed all in one room it's perfect for one person but it sleeps two with two twin beds one rolls out. Complementary coffee , hot tea, and water. There is a microwave and a mini fridge. It is in the woods by a stream and it is right beside my house where I live. Parking is about 150 feet walk down a small hill and a few stone steps. It is not handicap accessible. 3 miles to grocery and or Target/Walmart. The Chattahoochee river old Settles Bridge is 1/2 of a mile past my driveway trout fishing and kayak if you have one. I have a medium bike you can use.

On the farm, you will find rows and rows of beautiful wildflowers.

The space
We're right in the middle of the city, a short distance from many attractions. But when you set foot on the farm, you'll feel like your miles away.
The tiny house sits behind a concrete block facade that remains from an old house. The space in front of the house may look empty, but it has been used by the farmers for seed starts. In the future, we will be converting the space to a patio with seating and ping pong.
The water heater is small - pretend you’re glamping! You can get about a 5 minute shower or a good excuse for skipping it altogether.
Guest access
You may wander the farm, but please stay off the beds and be mindful that these guys work really hard!
The farm is pretty quiet January and part of February.
Other things to note
There is also a vintage Airstream on the property and is also rented out on Airbnb.
This is a tiny house; along with a tiny house comes a tiny water heater. We have turned up the temperature, but please plan on short showers.

The 423 sf space features a deck, private bedroom, 1.5 private baths, wellness room and self check-in, (affectionately known as Tiny Shirley) is located in a historic, in-town Atlanta neighborhood. Conveniently located in SW Atlanta, near the Beltline (Lionel Hampton Trail), Lee + White Food Hall, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the AUC, Georgia Aquarium and more!
While we’re located in the city, you’ll feel like you’ve spent the night in the country!
One room is set up as a bedroom (with queen bed and desk) and has a small spa like master bathroom if you’re in need of an escape. It offers access to the common space which includes a kitchenette (sink, oven and full size fridge), seating area and television.
The second room is a wellness room perfect for an intimate yoga session and comes with floor cushions.
There are separate entrances to the bedroom, common area and wellness room.
Our space is easily accessible via 20 and 285, or take the streets since we're located in town! We are in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of on street parking.
Tiny Shirley was finished in June of 2021 and is our way of jumping back into the short-term rental pool (post-pandemic).
The booking is for a maximum of TWO people TOTAL. Please do not have additional visitors (during the day or otherwise), or extra fees will be incurred. If you would like to host a bigger group, please send us an inquiry. We do book the space for bigger approved events.

This cabin was the perfect mountain escape—quiet, tucked into a ravine, and surrounded by winding roads and beautiful views. We arrived late Friday, please note when arriving in the dark it may be a bit hard to find but for us it just added to the laughs. There was no signal out near the cabin, so it took a bit of teamwork, but we got it figured out.
Saturday was all about the outdoors: breakfast at Bear Necessities Café, then hiking Amicalola Falls (about 40 mins away, but again we appreciated the drive through the mountains and we're not rushed to do anything). We tackled the 425+ stairs at the falls, and tag-teamed carrying our dog, who absolutely refused the metal steps 😂. Sunday’s rain slowed things down in the best way—gold mine tour, incredible Mediterranean food at Pharaoh’s Feast, then soaking in the hot tub and ending each night with a campfire. Peaceful, cozy, and dog-friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

This was a perfect weekend getaway! We only stayed a single night, but this tiny gem is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful setting, even in winter.
We weren't concerned but we were wondering how well heated the cabin would be. When we woke in the morning it was 24F, feels like 9F, and we had had a toasty night. Blankets provided were perfect. Space heater was excellent. The floor and bottom level were cooler, but the heat rising to the sleeping loft necessitated turning on the fan to circulate and ease a bit of stuffiness, as crazy as that is.
And the hot tub was blessedly HOT, even in the freezing weather. Towels provided. We thoroughly enjoyed a bit of stargazing even with the string lights lit.
We wished we had remembered our firewood. The fire pit by the creek is so inviting, with log formed benches and a bar height one for ease with refreshments. It was still a great coffee spot in the morning.
Jodi and her team are excellent communicators. I was able to consult with them about some of the forest roads in the area as we wanted to do the short day hike to the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. MAJOR TIP: approach the parking lot from the north/west direction on the forest service road.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We loved the private cabin that we were in and there's another nearby camp area but there was no one there so we had the space for ourselves. We would definitely recommend anyone to go and the owner was able to let us take our dog somewhat last minute so that was really nice. The owner answer our messages before and while we stayed in cabin so that was really nice. The cabin was clean and organized before we got there and we had had no issues finding the cabin.

The hosts were friendly and checked in to make sure we always had what we needed. The land is beautiful, we enjoyed our gorgeous morning view of the water and the sound of nature. We made great connections with the other two couples staying on the land around the lake. The Birdhouse had just the right amount of space for us. We appreciated the extra foldable chair and table which came in handy for cooking. The video with directions to our site was also incredibly helpful because we arrived very late at night and were still able to navigate our way around the lake with our wagon full of supplies. Lots of spiders here, they didn’t bother us at all. The bug net, and screened windows allowed us to enjoy a refreshing and lovely breeze. There is a train that passes through a few times in the night.

About thirty to forty minutes from great areas like Dahlonega and Blairsville, we got to explore both town and forest and have a cozy place to crash.
