When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! This was our first Hipcamp stay of the trip and it was a great experience. The site was clean and we felt very safe and comfortable there. We arrived after dark, so we really appreciated the little solar lights that helped us get situated.
We happened to be the only ones staying there that night, so it felt very private. Because of that, we couldn’t really tell how close the other campsites are when they’re occupied. We stayed in Site 1, which was just a stone’s throw from the porta-potty. We didn’t end up using it, but it was nice knowing it was there.
We entered the GPS coordinates we were sent directly into our map and had no trouble finding the property, even at night. It was a very easy and comfortable first stop on our trip.

If you want a real deal Florida natural vacation, this is exactly where you want to be.
Immaculately clean with a huge paved parking / hang out area plus a lush grassy lawn. Easy in and out for our truck and travel trailer.
The host was perfect. Helpful whenever needed but not overly involved.
Having access to our own dock, a fenced yard for our pup and the stunning views of sky and water surrounding us made for an ideal vacation.
