When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! Nice clean and level sites. Enjoyed watching the trains from site with our 3 year old grandson. It is very loud during the night but we expected that with the railroad crossing being so close. Would stay again.

I will be back. The site was well maintained. Firewood is easily accessible if you pay for it, which was also super convenient. Very little to no light pollution or sound. Spaces are wide enough to feel private and the site is easy to find. The owner is very responsive. I definitely look forward to our next visit.

It is a big campground (50+ acres) with a small campground feel. It wasn't crowded when we were there and it was very quiet and beautiful. Good options for tent sites in a grassy field or under big oak trees. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Our space was tidy and the utilities worked great. The only major “issue” we had was finding out how much the train would affect things. Not only are you close to the railroad, you’re close to the crossing so you are getting woken up regularly throughout the night by the train horns. The first night will probably be a bit rough for campers like it was for us and our 1 year old but just keep your white noise machines up high. Overall, a fun and clean place to stay.
