We really enjoyed staying at Lee's hip camp. It is less than an hour drive into the Orlando theme parks. Being there feels like a little country oasis amongst The condo sprawl around Orlando. The neighbors have horses. A grocery store is a short drive away. Lee is a very nice man. He helped us back into the campsite and even offered to help us set up camp. Next time we want to do the Orlando theme parks this is where we will stay.

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! We will definitely be back here! Sandy was the perfect host and answered all the questions we had and could recommend great places to check out!!! Thank you for the hospitality!! Almost forgot, perfectly private! 😁

We had the most amazing experience despite a thunderstorm that roll through. It was fun to watch the storm from our tent and wake up to amazing tropical view, and a super fun outdoor shower. The miniature ponies were just an added, we will return!

Wonderful stay at Davis Farm! Perfect site, Lee was brilliant, dogs loved the space, and the sunsets were lovely with peaceful solitude. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Taste of Old Florida

I loved camping at Christine & Cal’s property. It was just a quick overnight stop. I was the only one there for most of the time. The shower was a welcomed treat after tent set up. The little horses are so cute and very friendly. I was able to put my ice pack in the freezer. My back was very thankful for that. You can hear some road noise as some others noted. It was just kind of in the back ground. I’m used to hearing sirens, trains and cruise ship horns so it was not an issue for me. I was looking forward to seeing the stars but it was very cloudy. I’ll definitely be returning.

My husband and I loved our first time stay here. We will definitely be back!!! We had the whole place a to ourselves saw some wildlife, saw some stars, and their neighbors cat and dogs came to keep us company. !!! It was great to have a toilet and outdoor shower. Had the best sleep just being lulled by the sounds of nature. Also just 10 min from Kissimmee Prairie State Park.

Weekend Trip to Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

We had a wonderful time camping in the woods. There were 4 of us, two of us have not slept in tents in decades. During our entire stay, we did not run into any other campers. In the morning we even used the canoe to see some of the birds and scenery in the area. Over all we had an even greater time than anticipated. One of the best features was how secluded the area felt.

Joe and his wife were wonderful hosts—so welcoming and excited to share their little piece of paradise with us. The campsite had easy access to sewer, water, and electricity, making our stay hassle-free. We also loved the picnic table and the beautifully crafted fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. Our kids had a great time fishing, which made the trip even more special for our family. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!

While staying with us you can opt to take a guided food forest tour, as well as take the opportunity to help with or observe current projects going on at the farm. You can also enjoy swimming on-site. Offsite you can head nearby to enjoy swimming, walking, fishing, boating, live music, restaurants. We are only 10 minutes from Fellsmere and 20 minutes from Sebastian. There are plenty of parks and fishing spots nearby as well as the beach so there is always something to do within a 10-45 minute drive. Your hosts live onsite and we will plan to greet campers and give a brief tour, as this is a growing food forest there may be areas that are sensitive to foot traffic. Our favorite things about this property are the amazing skies both at dawn and dusk, as well as night stargazing. We have great birdwatching as well. Please reach out at any time with questions or concerns. About the listing Our listing is for a campsite that accommodates tents or an RV or camper van up to 45ft. If you do bring a camper keep in mind our sites are pull in only with no hookups (dry camping) and they will require some leveling. Generators are also not allowed. Amenities listed below: -There is a shared fire pit available -There is potable water via a spigot -Good cell service for most carriers, no wifi -Shared composting toilet onsite -Pets are allowed -Wheelchair access is possible Additional details to note Please check in at least 2 hours before sunset so that you can can find the toilet and know where the sensitive growing areas are. At night, enjoy stargazing as the clear skies offer great views of constellations and shooting stars. If you’re in the mood for something more adventurous, Okee Oasis is close to areas for mudding, mudding events, fishing, kayaking. Hunters will also find this location ideal, with nearby areas perfect for hunting trips and outdoor exploration. Our flat, open terrain makes it easy for all campers to set up, whether you’re arriving in an RV, van, or pitching a tent. A Few Important Notes: 1. Irrigation Ditch: There’s an irrigation ditch running through the middle of the campsite, so please be cautious when driving in. Be sure to stay to the right side to avoid any trouble. 2. Mosquito Tips: The mosquitoes can be pretty intense, so I recommend bringing a Thermacell or two and any other mosquito repellent you prefer. When I camped, I kept a Thermacell inside my tent, which worked great to keep them out. Outside, even with two tiki torches, a fire, and a Thermacell, they were still landing on me. A heavy-duty Thermacell might be your best bet. Long sleeves and pants also helped a lot! 3. Site Updates: There’s been some growth at the site since I first listed it on Hipcamp. The back area is still clear, but the middle front section needs mowing. Keep this in mind when setting up your campsite. Also bring firewood. Sometimes there is firewood at the gas stations off the turnpike but it is expensive. Also, there is a subway right off the turnpike if you’re in a crunch for a quick meal

Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property. ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! We cant wait to share our property with you and hopefully you'll find our place as somewhere you'd love to return!
