I had a great stay in the Happy Camper! Amazing hosts! Enjoyed sitting bu the fire, my outside hot shower, and the peace and quiet!! Camper was very comfy!

Most site have water and pwr which is a plus. No issues with no see ums at all in late sept.
I had a spot all the way in the back that was secluded and quiet.
If you not use to train noise then take a sleeping pill there are trains that pass by at any hour and the horn is loud.
Overall it's a great quiet location not to far from the beaches. To drive on the beach is 32 bucks for non-residents. Craig and his wife are real cool.

Kelly’s place was great place to spend the night. Their camper is perfect for the hot weather in Florida because it has AC. It also has a great outdoor shower with warm or cold water. You also have a spot to park your vehicle in front of the camper.

Great location! You can bike ride to the beach or Uber. Located in a nice area and we even walked to dinner one night. We enjoyed not only the beach and restaurants but the lighthouse too (about 20-25 min drive). They were great hosts and it was a great camping site! Thanks for having us!

We loved Sandy’s Swamp. She’s a great host. She met us on time and showed us around. As advertised. Roughing it with perks. Our first morning in the swamp started with 4 hours of thunderstorms. We chilled in the large dry screened porch. Would have been horrible without it. Kayak launch was simple. Will be back when it’s cooler. Maybe a day trip so we can sleep in AC after a long shower.

This little slice of heaven is absolutely breathtaking. It backs up on to the lake. Very clean and well taken care of. Sunset was beautiful. Outdoor shower works very well. Saw fish, osprey and plenty of gators.

Craig was a great host, easy going and personable. Staying at Craig’s place was our second Hipcamp experience, and it was everything we could have asked for. The RV space is simply appointed with all the services, and access was unencumbered in our 24’ class-C motorhome. The neighborhood felt safe and provided a great place to walk our cattledog, Indigo. Fortunately Craig’s dog is easygoing and friendly like his “owner.” He tolerated our not so easygoing and not so friendly 11 year old Indigo girl. We would certainly stay here again should we ever find ourselves traveling down the east coast of Florida.

We loved it here. It was so peaceful and quiet. The land is beautiful and well maintained and was perfect for walking our over-excited dog. It was his first ever camping trip in our new to us travel trailer, so he was already dealing with a lot of change. Having his walks be so low key instead of being in a busy campground made it much more relaxing for all of us.
The site was clean, the full hookups were in excellent working order, and there's a trash can and recycling bin right on it which was super convenient.
Craig was very welcoming. We felt safe and comfortable and really enjoyed our little getaway.

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! We will definitely be back here! Sandy was the perfect host and answered all the questions we had and could recommend great places to check out!!! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Kelley & Vic were very hospitable to us; we enjoyed the tour of their property, as well as the homemade bread and eggs we were able to purchase from their homestead.
They also had great recommendations for us regarding nearby outdoor recreation areas. We thoroughly enjoyed Ravine Gardens State Park and visiting Angels Diner in Palatka.
We comfortably fit two adults in the camper, and we’re grateful that the other adult who came with us had an in-car camping set up. It would have been very, very tight had all three of us needed to fit in the camper. We’d recommended no more than two for the camper. Camper did have a neat cooler/fridge inside that was spacious!
The outdoor shower was amazing - all three of us absolutely loved it! And the fact that warm water was accessible was a win. The water got up to about 88 degrees or so.
The compostable toilet was inside a small tent and cleaned daily. It felt slightly on display just with how close it was to the fire pit, but was convenient and easy to access.
The fire pit was the perfect size, and tons of wood was supplied ($10/night). Our favorite part was hanging out around the fire pit during the evenings under the stars. TONS of stars, and beautiful wind blowing through the trees. Lots of fun animal sounds too! If you plan to cook over the fire, be sure to bring your own tools and equipment.
All in all, great experience! We’d go again and are looking forward to seeing how Kelley and Vic continue to grow their homestead!
