What a great location! The site was super clean and very level. We brought our boat and launched just down the road and left it at the dock for the weekend. Easy access to springs in both directions by boat. If you are looking for a bite on the river we tied up downtown and walked across the bike trail to burgers. Headed south if you turn down the Sante Fe there are a couple of restaurants in that direction too. Very quiet, decent service with Verizon, a place we will keep on our list for sure!

We loved our time at Jerry’s riverfront spot! The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. We kayaked the beautiful Santa Fe and Ichetucknee rivers, saw lots of wildlife and had a great view of the stars. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to End of the Rainbow Resort
This spot was so special! We were able to camp right on the water where the 2 rivers come together and it was so peaceful and private. Primitive with Porta John’s was just fine with us. It was great to enjoy the rivers and paddle back to camp. The wildlife and people/boat watching was great too. Host Donald was very kind and welcoming as well. Worth every penny, we will be back!

We loved staying here. We had lots of privacy and felt very safe. The community and its parks are an amazing feature. We were able to launch directly on the Ichetucknee River and on into the state park. It was serene. Being on the river was lovely. In the evening we started a fire as we watched deer cruise on through the property across the river. Host had great communication. Being in a covered site with full hookups was an awesome feature. There were games and kayaks for rent if needed. Our dog loved it too! Highly recommend.

Cute little spot in a rural area outside Micanopy (south of Gainesville), great location for exploring this area of beautiful Old Florida. The sites are well equipped with full hookups and a cute little “outhouse“ between the sites (it’s fully plumbed so not your usual smelly outhouse, rather a small bathroom). Fun to see the farm animals. Only drawback was the rooster crowing quite a lot from early hours into the morning (which is what roosters do, but just worth mentioning). Friendly and helpful hosts who loaned us a septic hose when ours had cracked.

What a beautiful place! It's peaceful and the goats kept us entertained. It's very close to Micanopy - a cute town with antiques and cafe. We also enjoyed Paynes Prarie and saw bison! The campsite is level and plenty of room to back in. Full Hookups and big garbage can. Definitely recommend.

Great space in the Santa Fe River! Quiet, peaceful, and everything you need. Our pup was in complete heaven! Close to the Ichetucknee State Park with a beautiful spring! Jerry is a responsive host. Would recommend you get any supplies and/or groceries you will need as the closest supermarket is about 20-25 minutes away. Also, use google maps, do not use Waze. Waze let us down, Jerry was quick to help!

My family really enjoyed camping here. The animals were all very friendly and fun to watch. There were baby goats while we were there that were really enjoyed watching. Very peaceful location, well away from a quiet country road. The site was level and the amenities worked well. I’d recommend bringing a water filter. Great communication with the hosts. We will stay here again in a heartbeat.

We spent 4 nights here and had a great time! We enjoyed the very quiet surroundings listening to birds, owls, hawks, and a distant rooster. We brought our bikes and enjoyed looking at the neighborhood and parks. We spent time on the Santa Fe and Suwannee River. Loved having a huge covered pad and no one else in sight. The only issue we really had was the address on the gate did not match the address we were given. Also be aware that the nearest street sign is not the correct road. However, Jerry was very available and answered right up to confirm we were in the right place, as what we saw matched the pictures online. He was always very responsive and gave instructions to make our trip better. Definitely stay here if you love old Florida and peace and quiet!

Parking is allowed on site and set up is at your discretion. Campsite is about approximately 50x50 and includes use of outdoor composting toilet, picnic table, outdoor chairs, trash can with lid, outdoor hand washing area w/ water, and a nice sized fire ring. (Wood is available for your enjoyment and ease, but please only use what you need) Hosts are on site 24/7 for ease of making your stay comfortable and we will ensure all your needs are met in a timely fashion. This is PRIMITIVE camping site and would not be suitable for RV’s. Van camping is allowed and can hold up to three vans or cars. Small walking trails available behind the campsite. Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living.  We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided.  A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. Glenn Farm

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.
