We thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the New Year at Spotted Dance Ranch! Kym & John were wonderful hosts. They have a lil slice of paradise to share and it is oh so peaceful. They have 7 full hook ups for RV and a cute lil cottage on-site available for rent as well. We will definitely return in the very near future! Thank you both for sharing your ranch via Hipcamp!

We loved camping at Lucky U! The space was well maintained and had some really nice amenities like the covered coffee bar and sink area with plenty of bathrooms and hot water. The animals are friendly and fun and the property is beautiful and peaceful. We will be back!!

What an amazing place Rob and Mike created to share with those looking for great camping! Spent New Years at Lucky U Ranch, and it was fantastic! The sites are huge and far apart. Facilities are very well kept. Got some unexpected guests when the horses and mules decided to say hi. You will not find any better hosts, very attentive… met me at the gate and took me to the site, shared about the site and hiking trails on property as well as checked in daily and provided more firewood when I ran out. Happy to have found another place to add to my “visit again” list!

The site was exactly what we were looking for. A nice level spot that felt private and open space for our dog to run. The hosts were kind and helpful. Access to the bathroom and pool area is an amazing bonus when you’re camping. Wood was available for a fire. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Great getaway from the big cities, but everything you need nearby! Tracey’s site is within walking distance to the river for quick access for canoeing or kayaking. This site is quiet and spacious, while also fenced in for your pet’s safety. You’ll wake up to the sandhill cranes everyday! All of the neighbors are extremely friendly as well. T-Mobile cell service is 1-3 bars, Verizon cell service is 2 bars and T-Mobile home internet is 2 bars.

My husband, pup, and I spent 2 nights at Louise’s beautiful small hobby farm with goats and chickens. We were greeted by Louise and Michelle upon arrival, who made us feel very welcome, helped us hook up, and explained everything about the property.
Location and surroundings are very quiet, peaceful, and safe, just minutes from The Village, shopping, and restaurants. Easy to access, drive through, and convenient hookup for power and water. Outdoor shower with plenty of hot water was much appreciated, as well of the fresh laid eggs, and WiFi. Louise also offered for us to do laundry.
We will definitely return and are already planning our next visit.

We loved staying at this farm! We purchased treats to feed the cows/donkeys and our 2 year old thought this was the greatest! We also purchased duck eggs and they were so good.
They do have untraditional water/electric hook-ups, but we had no trouble connecting.

Very nice place. Rob & Mike are excellent hosts and their 30 acres of beautiful country setting is a great place to camp, hike, and enjoy the peace and quiet with animals roaming the land. Not your average campground which makes their place unique. Highly recommend

Great spot to be off the beaten path. Cristy is very accommodating and she goes the extra mile to meet your needs. Would definitely recommend her spot and will stay again if we’re in the area.

Weekend Trip to True Trail Farm
I thoroughly enjoyed staying in the wagon and experiencing everything there is at the farm. The wagon is quaint and cozy and I kept very warm. The animals are absolutely adorable. I can’t wait to stay again!

Pretty cool experience. I always wanted to stay in a vintage camper. Cozy the bed was nice and comfortable The little heater was just right. I just wish it had a shelter, bathroom, and shower area but definitely a great experience pretty cool place

Very peaceful at night after the activity calms Awesome view of the stars. Fire pit and charcoal grill. Firewood available for a small fee. Chairs for sitting and talking or quietly relaxing. During the day you can relax and read or interact with the goats, the donkey, the chickens and best of all the little pig. Eggs and Goat milk soap of all different scents to choose from. Eggs also for a small fee for cooking. Best of all my little dog was free off leash. You must keep them under control though. No chasing the other animals. Their dog and mine got along pretty good after they got to know each other. It was like camping out on a little farm. Canopys of Old Oak trees, large enough to go off to the less active areas or closer to the animals and friendly environment. The hosts are so wonderful. One of the best HipCamp's I've stayed at. We loved it!!!

My wife and I loved it there. Beautiful place. Rob and Mike were amazing hosts, could not ask for better. Loved the animals grazing freely and visiting us daily at our site, Loved it. Looking forward to going back. If there was a 1 to 10 rating I would give it an 11.

We had a great time on the property and around the area. Rob and Mike are excellent hosts and have a great operation. They give a tour of the property on Saturdays so we got to see all the goats, stallions, miniature horses, geese and donkeys! The spots are spread out nicely and the bathroom/shower area are top notch for an outdoor setting! The little touches do not go unnoticed. We stayed in the RV they have availabile and boy were we happy with it since some rain showers decided to come along on our trip.
We look forward to coming back sometime. Thanks Rob and Mike!
