Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.
also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Where the camper is located there is a half mile trail through the forest, across from our driveway there is a 2.6 mile nature trail, a 15 mile biking trail, place to launch a kayak or boat, and we are close to wekiva and rock springs. not to mention a free 15 mile nature drive on the weekends just minutes away. plus we arent far from downtown Mount Dora. Quiet peaceful but close to activities like baseball, softball, walking trails, parks, cycling and theme parks. Come enjoy nature but still be close to amenities. We have a area for tents with water and minimal electric available. Screen room is also available for inclement weather with outdoor table for dining. We are surrounded by wildlife native to Florida including bears, coyote, bobcats, alligators, raccoons and many more. The area is fenced in. The campsite is approximately 1000ft from the road but some traffic may be heard during peak hours. A Paved walking and cycling trail leads to boomba sports complex, the environmental center, and Lake Jessup in one direction and big tree park in the other. The trail is part of the cross seminole trail system.

Overall we enjoyed camping at this property!!!
The roosters were loud and annoying very early but they apologized and are planning on getting rid of them and for us wasn't "horrible"...for one-night. They gave us an extra dozen eggs for the "trouble"...

My dog and I were in need of a last minute place to stay near Maitland and Steve and Brandi were great. They had some excellent travel advice and gave my dog, Hunter Girl, lots of love and exercise.

The hosts were great. Very friendly and personable people. Our camping spot was quiet (except for the rooster) and the bath house was great. Every night they lit a camp fire where everyone could sit around and talk. We would definitely stay there again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Lovely campsite! I stayed at site #5, which had nice privacy with trees between the sites. The bathroom is close with a flush toilet and hot shower, and the site has a picnic table and fire pit. It’s also only about a 10-minute drive to downtown Mount Dora. I was there for the Scottish Highland Festival and it was the perfect place to stay!

The layout consisted of a communal firepit at the center of the camp sites. The camp sites are basically where ever you want to make them. They have a neat gypsy wagon and cabin for those who prefer more comforts. We've always been tent campers so we enjoyed the flexibility. Some treed areas some more open.

No problem finding space for our camper van. Be aware there are lights from a nearby correction center. This wasn’t a problem for us, but should be noted.

We stayed at Pennyland in a Class C RV pulling a toad. Mark met us at the base of the long driveway near the house. We had booked this location based on intentions to going to Universal but changed our plans before leaving out, spending most of the time at Kennedy Space Center.
Mark was pleasant to talk to, a surfer with that welcoming coastal vibe. He showed us the different ways we could position the RV and where the dump station was and left us to it. There was one other camper there at the other site but they were gone the next day. Mark also offered up some suggestions on sightseeing in the area.
We decided to face our RV door away from the house and toward the road. Don’t let that discourage you. The road is not seen and traffic not really heard. Between your site and the road is a pasture with two wonderful horses and then a nursery. To each side were pastures. It was really a nice location. Power was stable and water pressure good. We didn’t see Mark for the remainder of the week, but didn’t need to as everything worked perfectly.
A note, if you have an RV. The power and water receptacles are on the fence and we were able to set up a bit further back from the fence, giving a slightly bigger front yard, due to having both water and electric extensions. While I’m sure it would work fine without extensions, the bigger front yard was nice.

A little pocket of calm. The property is peaceful, natural, and beautifully Florida. It felt private and restorative, with the kind of quiet that lets you actually exhale. Easy access, safe, and a perfect place to reset before heading back into busier spaces. I would gladly return.

The site is safe and secure, relatively flat.
It is quiet and I slept well.
It is in a spot on a small body of water with lovely sunrises and sunsets.
The owners have improvement plans, such as marked sites. I just parked where I wanted to. If they are able to install sanitary facilities, that would be excellent, but my rig is self contained.
