In this leafy paradise lives gopher tortoises (they act like gophers, but are tortoises!), alligators, black bears, and the skunk ape, also known as the “stink ape,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to bigfoot. Areas of recreation include Ocean Pond--a fave place for boaters, skiiers, and campers, and Olustee Beach for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access.

Welcome to our little homestead. Nestled amidst the serene countryside, this quaint campground offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by lush farms and sprawling horse pastures, the air is filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers and the gentle rustle of leaves. With only a handful of RV spots and a few cozy tents scattered among the trees, guests can truly reconnect with nature while roasting marshmallows over crackling campfires under a blanket of stars. Here, the pace slows down, allowing visitors to unwind and immerse themselves in the simple pleasures of rural life.
We just finished (well 2 years ago) traveling the country in an RV with five of our 7 kids (oldest two were in college) and we had a terrible time finding places to stay in Saint Augustine when we came home to visit. I hope that we can offer some nice people a safe and beautiful place to park their rig.

The property is near the historic St. Augustine, a fun walkable/bikeable city, lots of state parks and of course an awesome beach!

We had a beautiful weekend at Holly’s place. The kayaking was wonderful and we spent a day paddling up to Deep Creek. We also spent a day in St Augustine which was only a 30 min drive. Great wildlife viewing and very peaceful. We highly recommend this campsite.

We enjoyed our stay at Anthony’s. He is a most gracious host. Parking was spacious and level, and our doodle very much enjoyed the secluded, fully fenced property and grassy play area. Very dog friendly! We found it easy to navigate into old town Saint Augustine. If our travel plans, bring us back to Saint Augustine, we will most certainly stay here again! This was a perfect spot for exploring St Augustine while being tucked away in a very quiet, peaceful setting. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. Our 33 ft skoolie fit inside the yard with room to spare. The site was very safe, secure, and well lit, which made us feel very comfortable going outside at night. We rarely venture out of our rig at night, so that was a welcome change of pace. We liked it here so much that we extended our stay! If we pass through St Augustine again, we will definitely return to this awesome spot!!

We have been full time RVing for the last 5 years and this is one of the most welcoming places we have stayed. Jeffrey was there to help us get set up and he really thought of everything we might need, including letting me borrow a stepladder so I could temporarily repair my windshield which cracked on our way there.

I would definitely recommend this spot to friends and strangers alike. My spot - Bragging Eagle - was a place in a clearing in the woods. Nicely maintained, suitable for 2 tents. A clean and sturdy picnic table and a fire ring are the amenities. However, watching the bats fly out of the bat box at sunset and listening to the morning birds in the woods at dawn were the real appeal of the spot. That applies to all of the campsites at this location. Shared facilities - bathroom, shower, wash station - were well maintains and functional.

This place is absolutely amazing. Holly is the best host and her property is gorgeous. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet relaxing beautiful spot to get away. Far enough away from downtown but also close enough if you want to make a run. Loved the property, the trails and the animals. The dock and the boathouse are too cool too if you don't want to camp. Lively sunsets and cool breezes. Quiet and very much one work nature.
