We had a great time staying in the old fishing cabin. It was a glimpse into the Florida of decades ago. Right on the water, Spanish moss in the trees, birds flying overhead at sunset. The cabin is as cute as a button. Yes, you will need to bring your own drinking water. But everything else we needed was waiting for us in the cabin.

We love camping by the pond! Watching and listening to the wildlife. Having a campfire. Walking distance to the little church and driving distance is short to town. Our hosts are wonderful people and we will definitely be back again!

Wes and Tanya have a very unique spot for camping. We overlook a pond and some wildlife here. We’ve come two years in a row so far and I know we will be back again. They are great people to deal with and have been very welcoming and accommodating.

Site 420 was perfect for us! Dog friendly, private, enjoyed the wildlife next to the pond and was conveniently located for our needs. We were thankful that Tanya was able to be very accommodating with our last minute changes and needs. Highly recommended!! Two thumbs up and would stay here again in the future if in the area.

Camped with a small 5th wheel, site 420. It was absolutely lovely. We were visiting our son’s family and had our granchildren to camp one day as well. Tanya and Wes were great in making sure we got there and situated. They had a lot of amenities including fire rings and wood. The sounds of the animals at night over the pond was really nice as well. We had 3 dogs with us and put up our fence for camp with no problems. The plants and quaint yard art was very enjoyable.

We loved staying in Davids old fishermans cabin. The cabin was clean and perfectly rustic. The property was beautifully located on the lake. (such a great view to walk out the door to) It was a great location for us to check out the area.

With our relatives living just two blocks from David's land, the location was ideal and convenient for spending quality time together. David and his entire staff exceeded our expectations in every way. Their deep knowledge of Lake Rousseau, combined with remarkable generosity and hospitality, made us feel exceptionally welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in a quaint cabin that featured a convenient kitchenette. The space was not only comfortable and clean but also provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking views, which truly enhanced our experience. Our time at David's camp was unforgettable. We look forward to returning and will always choose to stay here whenever we visit. My husband and I stayed in David's cabin for several nights & we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cozy, but spacious enough for the two of us. It was very comfortably heated, which was great when the weather got down to the 30's overnight. The water was hot, perfect for the shower & washing dishes. But the thing that made this place special was being near the water & watching the many birds. We saw sandhill cranes, ibis, coots, ahinoules, & galinules here. We would definitely recommend David's place!
