There is world class fishing nearby at the St. John's River and we are right near many beautiful springs - which, if you have never spent time in a natural spring you will absolutely want to check that out! We are a 20 minute drive from the Villages which offers shopping, dining, and activities, as well as 20 minutes to historic Mount Dora which is a beautiful artsy downtown village. My first experience at Bare RV Resort was fantastic. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from my first clothing-optional resort, but I immediately felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. What stood out most was the warm, respectful, and judgment-free atmosphere — it made for such a positive introduction to this kind of space. I visited with my friend, and we ended up making new friends during my stay, which made it even more special. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, and the whole resort felt cozy and inviting. It strikes a great balance of social and relaxed, and the location near other resorts in the area is a bonus. A wonderful first experience, and we will gladly return.

2 nights at Bare RV Resort

I found this place via hip camp, I tried to approach this place is for healing to find the solitude that I need as well as understand myself with others. What I found was residence who are willing to make up rumors and throw non-residents out, I was sleeping in a tent and had no better place to go but the owner would rather take their vacation. Didn't care about what I was going through.

Dan our host was incredible! Friendly, reliable communication, our stay was quiet and peaceful, level parking in the grass with a nice view of the horses and donkey, would highly recommend and will stay here again!

3 nights at Trails End RV Park

We were ready to plan a return trip before even leaving. Owners and staff are very cordial and genuinely helpful. Beautiful old Florida on the river. The clubhouse is a perfect, cozy spot for the entire family to enjoy when the weather isn’t cooperating. One of our new favorites!

Weekend Trip to Homosassa Springs RV Site

Homosassa Springs RV site is a nice quiet place to spend a night. Even though it is just off of a road it was pretty quiet overnight and had well positioned landscape that gave it the feeling of privacy. A great place to spend the night if you are in the area.
