You’ll pass Homosassa and their State Park (the oldest Hippo Lu (65) lives here). At the waterfront restaurant ‘Crumps’ you can watch monkeys on an island! Dames Cave in Lecanto is about 17 minutes from here with multiple caves to explore. The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is a 15 minute drive south highway 19. This is a parking area for two seperatly rented RVs or campers. Each space is approximately 15ft x 40ft, a 33ft plus pull behinds will need expert driver to back in. The electrical hookup is 50 amp. If you have 30 amp, you will need to bring your own adapter. The area is under two large Oak trees giving plenty of shade. Electric and Water hook up is available. NO DUMP STATION! Extra parking for one vehicle only. Basically this is a large parking area for the home. However the home has a separate drive and garage parking so we rent these two spaces for RVs and Campers. Monarch Manor Farm is not a stack and pack camper on top of camper place. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. Lynn’s land was perfect for our week long stay to visit family in Gainesville. The property was so quiet and peaceful. It was far enough from the city that we could see so many stars at night but close enough that it was just a 15-20 minute commute in and out of town. Lynn and David were also incredibly nice when we crossed paths. We will definitely be returning here for our next Gainesville visit. 10/10 would recommend!

Another great camping trip with my granddaughter Miya.! We have been here many times this year already! This is Miya's favorite place to camp and she really doesn't want to go anywhere else. She just loves the horses and other farm animals! .Rob and Mike are the best hosts and are so accommodating. They work hard every day on keeping the property so nice and clean and the guests comfortable. They really do go above and beyond! We really loved all the Christmas lights and decorations they put up. We hope to be back very soon! This is a great camping experience for anyone at any age and I would highly recommend it.

Honeybee ranch is such a special place! We didn’t expect to have this type of experience. It’s so peaceful and scenery is stunning. Carolina was very accommodating when we had a special arrival request, and Cindy the host on site, was really sweet. She greeted us upon arrival helped us back into the site and then In introduced us to the Cows.. later that evening we walked the entire property at sunset, admiring the oak trees, and watching ibis fly north for the evening. The ranch has a very special feeling to it. As for the campsites, we had everything we needed water power sewer. There’s no fire rings at the site so we made a fire at the community pit, which is a really cozy spot to hang out all night. Totally recommend the spot and btw, super close to Danes Cave and Croom Rec for hiking and ATVs

Well this place is just magical! Rob and Mike were excellent hosts to a pristine oasis of a camping ground riddled with donkeys, horses, and live oaks with Spanish moss drooping from its limbs. The extra creature comforts sure were nice! I hope y’all leave your lights on all year round. They are beautiful! Thank you for keeping us Georgians warm while she gets her bipolar weather together.

We had an awesome time at Lucky U camping for a weekend in mid-December. Rob and Mike were excellent hosts, both very responsive and hospitable on site. The ranch’s facilities (with the hosts built themselves!) were in pristine condition and well-appointed with extra towels, indoor-style plumbing and even a full camp kitchen. Our tent campsite was quiet and secluded in a nicely shaded spot. Interacting with the animals on the farm during the day was a blast. We could not recommend their camp more.

This camping experience was incredible! The land is beautiful and cared for, the property felt private and exclusive, yet was very easy to navigate; the roads well maintained and accessible for any vehicle. Large flat beautiful areas for multiple tents under the trees or in the open, and plenty of room to park and lay out blankets to star gaze. Rob and Mike were wonderful and available, met us at the gate and led us to our spot, showing us all the important points. The horses and mules were adorable and friendly. SO many birds to listen to when awakening, and the stars at night were incredibly bright. Bathroom area was clean, and not only stocked with shampoo and conditioners, but also coffee, creamer, and hot chocolate! We went to swim with manatees one day, but honestly could have stayed and just enjoyed the scenery just as happily. It was heaven. We missed the tour, but trust it would have been lovely as well. We will definitely return!

This is my first time on Hipcamp so I'm not really sure what I'm comparing to. I arrived earlier than expected, and the caretakers were very gracious directing me to my campsite without batting an eye. I was able to connect my trailer to water, sewer and electric immediately and walk around the big property to see some of its features. In addition to the 5 or 6 RV sites here, there is a residence called the Barn, which was not occupied when I visited here. Peaceful is the main word that comes to mind- it's quiet at night, which is good because I had to get up early. I enjoy visiting the cows when I got back from my tournament rounds early in the afternoon. I'm the only one staying here now so I didn't take advantage of the community fire pit, but it's a great idea and there was firewood available to me.Still hoping to get a close-up look at tha fox squirrel., who has so far kept his distance as far as I can tell. The name of this ranch drew me here, and it was a little bit sad that I couldn't get any of this season's honey because it's not ready yet.

My wife and I loved it there. Beautiful place. Rob and Mike were amazing hosts, could not ask for better. Loved the animals grazing freely and visiting us daily at our site, Loved it. Looking forward to going back. If there was a 1 to 10 rating I would give it an 11.
