I will be back a thousand times. I have absolutely fallen in love with this place. I love it so much that I debated on even leaving review because I didn't want to give away the secret of how awesome this place is ☺️ I'm not sure if Nancy owns the place or not, but she's an amazing camp host. From the chicken employees, to the comfort station treats, she really has thought of everything possible to make your stay as carefree as possible. The beds were comfy, cabin was cutely decorated, there are grills and utensils to use for everyone and inside your cabin. It was clean. The place was easy to find, and well lit. The people that were staying there were all friendly and didn't mess with you but were available for conversation if you felt so inclined. What a complete gem. This day was exactly what we needed. Can't wait to come back.

3 nights at Bowman's Landing

Awesome campsite. We stayed in primitive site #1 and it was incredibly spacious. We have a 12-person tent so it is quite large and we could’ve have fit at least 2 more tents in the spot. It seemed to be slightly bigger than primitive site #2. It was very private as well. No electricity or water at the site, but the comfort station, bathrooms, and dish washing station are close by. The bathrooms were super clean and nice. The site does have a fire pit with a grill grate and a picnic table. The staff was super friendly. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas as well as at the campsite. We spent lots of time fishing. We dropped a fishing light off the dock and watched giant fish and softshell turtles swim around. We went to Troy Springs, Ichetucknee Springs, and O’Leno State Park. I HIGHLY suggest Ichetucknee springs. Beautiful water, not too expensive, and we even saw a manatee!! We spent hours hiking at O’Leno and barely even scratched the surface. We will definitely be back.

My experience on this property was really fantastic. I was looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a much bigger city and Lynn and David’s place was absolutely perfect. I felt incredibly safe and was certainly delighted by the hosts’ thoughtfulness and also the beautiful piece of property I got to stay on. I especially appreciated the path around their little farm. I hope to be a return guest one day.

Weekend Trip to Glenn Farm

I don’t want to rave too much about this place because I want it to be available the next time I need it! But seriously it was the perfect one night getaway for me for a bike packing trip. Rinsing off in the spring after was perfect. The campsite was peaceful and spacious. I hammock camp and having posts already up was an unexpected benefit. I will say that with a rain fly and hammock the post do sag in a bit when getting in your hammock, so take that into consideration. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was outstanding. Judy was super nice and made me feel right at home.

Campsite was cute and quaint, which is what I expected! The host was helpful. Good spot, we loved being on the river. The kids had a great time!

Very scenic and quiet place to stay. The river is great! No dump station but there is a camp ground a couple miles up the road that will let you use theirs for $10.

Weekend Trip to 4A River Camp

Michael was not there when we camped, he had went camping yet was super responsive, informative throught site/text. I explained what we were hoping to do and his suggestions on what would work best for our family situation and he made awesome suggestions. Everything was how it was described by the host and reviews from previous campers. We were able to put 3 lg tents, sm pop-up, canopy, 3 vehs, 8.5x26ft enclosed trailer and enjoy a lg area with 7adults, 4children (1child in a wheelchair) . You are on a very level lot, w/limestone pad approx. 20x20ft next to a house on the Santa Fe River and wooded lot on the other side. We fished from shoreline and a floating dock, a tree had fell into the water right next to it. We did lose lures but were able to walk out to reclaim them. Kids swam near shore. Boat ramp a few lots down, heave boat/ jetski activity. 4x4ft enclosed bathing/restroom, very primitive but private, approx. 60ft from camparea w/3 steps to climb/latching door. A propane heated tankless water heater w/2shower heads, unable to use the overhead shower. Toilet: 5gl bucket w/plastic toiletseat/cover attached, WAG bags(containing half-cup of sand-like absorbant beads) which include extremely thin squares of toilet paper, wet wipe, and half-gl s gray ziplock to seal trash in. Sink, spigot, electric hookup firepit w/grate and access to airpump on/near site, tube retal/firewood (additional fee), access to springs.

Weekend Trip to Glenn Farm

The meadow is a personal favorite! Tom happily invited us on a tour of his wonderful farm. Doing so I learned so much about the fame and the 200+ years of history that lays beneath him. The farm house that overlooks the sheep pasture is (for reasons unknown) built around a 200+ year building that has the original shingles on it. He gave us a tour of the sheep meadow, donkey pen, cow field, and the rest of the property. All the while keeping us engaged with his story telling of the land. He convinced us to try to feed the sheep and cows and that they were friendly. Personally I have never fed farm animals before so it was a pretty cool experience! All the animals are used to people so there’s really no need to be scared. They all ate out of my hand! The cows were gentle and the sheep…. Really tried to get the food haha. There is plenty of dried fire wood all over the farm so bringing your own wood is not necessary. Unless you don’t want to cut down branches with an axe. But whats the farm experience without cutting your own wood. The meadow DOES have a small outlet and has electrical connections if you need to connect an RV which is a plus. The meadow was stunning at night. Overall the entire experience was nothing but positivity and good conversations filled with laughter. Highly recommend driving out and enjoying the time away from technology at Glenn Farm!

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

Highly recommend! Peaceful, Clean, Great location! We stayed in one of the small cabins. Joe the host was awesome and told us much about the property. Lots of friendly dogs and free roaming chickens everywhere. Free coffee and amenities were very creative. We will be back and try some tent camping

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone there was welcoming and kind. As a woman traveling with 3 kids and a dog, a kind and helpful community was great. The cabin was perfect and river was beautiful. We were happy!

Weekend Trip to Glenn Farm

Arrowhead sink and Glenn Farm is a fantastic little get away! We booked this trip and Judy met us when we arrived. She graciously showed us the way to the camp site. She gave an inviting tour and showed us where the sink was. The sink is part of an underground river system. The sink is clean and free of trash. In fact it was so clean that it smelled like fresh moss and stone. The way a cave ought to smell. The sink is VERY deep but VERY refreshing in the summer time. Our entire campsite was overlooking a field which was very peaceful. Overnight you could hear owls hunting in the distance. The stars shine very bright and is very quiet. But if you are a beginner camper like myself, it’s still nice to hear civilization from afar as you get used to camping. Judy and Tom are both very friendly and love meeting campers. The entire property has many acres of farmland. This campsite and farm is a wonderful getaway for a day or two. Located just north of Gainesville most people take only a few hours to drive in. Overall highly recommended and plan on being back to this quaint farm. :)

Weekend Trip to Glenn Farm

We were in a camper and we were able to run ac on the 110 but made sure we didnt overload with multiple things running. The field was beautiful and fairly level. There is a picnic table, fire pit and some shade. Be prepared to wash off shoes cause youll get muck on the bottom which, hey its a farm. The donkeys were unbelievably friendly with my dog. We enjoyed connecting with nature and the animals. The open land helped to keep bugs away with wind. Tom was so cool and wish I lived close to hang with him more. Felt like visiting with a friend.

This is my second time staying here and I absolutely LOVE it. Both times ive stayed at the cave spot and it's just beautiful. Tom and judy are both wonderful hosts and the farmland is incredible.

We LOVE camping at Glenn Farm! This is our 2nd time here and we'll keep coming back forever! This site is extremely private and quiet and the sink is really beautiful.

5 nights at Grazing Oaks Ranch RV and Horse Stables

We had a great trip to this Hipcamp! There were lots of animals there, you could make a new animal friend! My girls loved petting the horses and feeding the cows and ruby treats. We even learned a lot from the trainer on the property. Also, there’s a zip line and a swing! The trees were breathtaking and the property was beautiful! Oh and even some fruit trees on the property. It’s always a pleasure being in the middle of nowhere. Frank was helpful when we arrived and we even met others who were staying to enjoy s’mores with. The weather was magnificent too. Would def return!
