It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. The monarch farm was everything that Rick described it to be and so much more! The sites are huge. We easily fit three tents and had plenty of room left over. The large pond is absolutely beautiful. We fished every day and finally caught some elusive large mouth bass and one huge tilapia. My grandchildren fished from Sun up till sundown. The bath facilities were exactly as described and very comfortable to use. The property was very quiet with only an occasional sound of a truck and of course, our early morning wake up with the rooster. Our two dogs loved, running around and being free. I don’t know if there can be a better host than Rick! He checked on us every day and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved talking to him. This location is only 25 minutes from Gainesville yet very secluded. I think my only recommendation would be to put a different lock on the front gate, perhaps one with a combination but that’s it. I wouldn’t change a single thing. I truly loved being with my family in this location. This is definitely a five star location.

We recently stayed at the RV Site that offered everything we needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. The highlights for us were definitely the direct access to the canal, which was perfect for launching our kayaks right from the site. The site was spacious, providing ample room not only to park our camper comfortably but also to spread out and enjoy the outdoors without feeling cramped. A standout amenity was the outdoor shower, a refreshing and convenient feature after a day on the water. Overall, a great spot that we would highly recommend!

Rick’s land was great to camp on! The site is directly in front of a small pond. It has beautiful shade trees and is so quiet. It is across the pond from the bathroom/shower, but not a long walk. Rick himself was a pleasure to work with. He is very helpful (especially with lost phones in weird places 😬😅) and communicates in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his land for camping!

We thoroughly enjoyed Rick’s camp. It is some of the easiest camping we’ve done and the property is beautiful. The bathhouse is glorious and sites were perfectly positioned for our group. Plenty of room to spread out. The fishing and view of the pond was relaxing and fun. Nice shade, breeze, and sunny spots perfect for hanging out and napping. We will be coming back. Rick is a great and knowledgeable host who was very helpful, friendly, and clearly takes pride in caring for this super nice property.

This was all around an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Rick, the host, is a great human being. He was waiting for us at the site, willing and available to help out in whatever thing we could need. He went the extra 2 miles for us to feel at home, and we did. The site is beautiful, clean, peaceful, quiet and full of nature everywhere, including a pond where you can fish and then cook your own caught meal (and a boat to ride too). The bathroom, the showers, and the place in general is fantastic. The kids had an amazing time all around. You have stores 5-10 minutes away and you can get whatever you need. The place felt very safe and the experience was way more than we expected. We made a friend for life and found our camping spot for years to come! We are already planning our next trip. You will not regret coming to Monarch Manor Farm. 10 out of 5 stars!

Weekend Trip to Find Out Farms

We LOVED this location. Remote and yet close enough to friends that we were able to enjoy a night after our festivities to relax. ****IMPORTANT**** Unless you have stayed here before, I would advise arriving before the sun goes down. With its remote location, and technically “rural Florida”, you want to be sure you don’t find yourself on someone else’s private property. Thankfully, Brian has A-MAZING neighbors who happened to come by just when we were going back to our instructions on how to get to his property. He was so kind and said “follow me” and even proceeded to call Brian for us to let him know we were coming so he could meet us at the sites. We knew we would be coming in late (which we don’t prefer) but we had never been to this part of Florida before to understand its rural location. Rural is what we prefer, hence why I booked it, and we do know what to expect…but thank God for Brian and his neighbor. Brian is living a dream I have for us one day. Waking up to the quiet and trees surrounding us, only able to see what we assume is the helpful neighbor’s adjacent property. We WILL be back. For more than one night next time. The kindness we were shown was amazing and it’s a blessing to know those people still exist in our crazy world. In the morning, seeing the kids have fun outdoors was joyful. Making their own “slip n slide” and enjoying the sunshine and outdoors with each other. Love it! Thank you Brian and family…and neighbor…for a great experience. ❤️

As a bonus, you will get a stupendous and gracious host full of hidden talents and surprises, just like his place. Although temperatures could hit the 90s during the day, at night it gets cool enough to turn off our portable fan and reach for a blanket in the middle of the night. Brian has a piece of heaven and offers it to anyone that wants to enjoy tranquil nature with beautiful views. I am definitely coming back again to spend more time enjoying the simpler life and peace and quiet that surrounds his place. There are cattle nearby and you can hear them mooing along with other animals and birds in the woods. If you’re looking for rustic tranquility this is definitely a great spot for it. Lady is Brian’s dog and she was such a loving animal, she played and played with our dog Becky for what seemed like an hour but actually was maybe 30 minutes :). I’ve been to several places where I would not recommend because of one thing or another but this place was so easy and felt safe I got probably the best rest I’ve had in years. All our thoughts and troubles went away as we enjoyed the sounds of nature knowing that Brian was there if we needed anything. Two thumbs up 👍 👍. We all need to have a special “go to place “ to get away and this definitely clicks all the boxes for us. May God bless Brian and keep his place open for us to enjoy for many years to come.
