Our Ranch was purchased by the Host's grandmother after her first husband was killed in World War 2. She took part of the money given to her by the government and bought the initial tract. The host's father increased the size of the Property tremendously in the 90s and early-2000s, and today it encompasses 1, 337 acres.
The Property is an old Spanish land grant, originally owned by the Sanchez Family, which used to be a large cattle family in the State of Florida. Today, under our ownership since the late 40s, the Ranch has never been developed or timbered in any large measure. Original heart pine forests, oak groves, and wetlands pepper the entire tract. The land has remained largely untouched and natural, which is rare, in a state that is rapidly loosing its natural land to development. Our Ranch is more of a natural preserve than a farm, and it is our aim to share it in limited measure with the public.

Weekend Trip to Farm Camper
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farm!
Melissa was on site to meet us upon arrival and direct us to our campsite. The area is secluded at the back of her property. The amenities were wonderful, including the hot tub! We also thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower with hot water. The AC in the camper was perfect for a summertime stay. We will be back!

This is a great 55+ RV community that was so welcoming and friendly!! It was our first trip out in our RV and we hadn’t anticipated the challenge of backing in the RV but a nice couple out walking helped us get the RV backed in properly so we didn’t have any issues. The hosts were very responsive to texts and calls, super helpful and accommodating! There are several lots for sale in this community but we didn’t find any others on Hipcamp. We did not use any of the amenities but it is a great option to have them available so close. The resort is only a short distance from town so you can run to Walmart, Starbucks, or Bob Evans if you need anything. You are also a short distance from several springs as well. We will definitely be back again!!

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time getting lost in nature! The winding driveway to the property made it feel like we were escaping into a fairytale forest — so private and peaceful.
We loved that our dogs could run around freely next to our camp, and the setup was perfect for our group: my partner and I stayed in a tent while our guests enjoyed the comfort of the RV. The accommodations were great — the RV was especially comfortable during the hot afternoons, and I actually really enjoyed the cold outdoor shower!
We spent our time cooking delicious food together, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful forest surroundings. Just a heads up: I recommend bringing tick spray, as we did get some bites, but that’s to be expected when you’re this close to nature.
The hostess was so kind and helpful — overall, it was a stay full of fun, family, and forest. Highly recommend!

This spot was so perfect for what we needed. The site is clean and level and the deck provided such a nice spot for morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day. The pool and hot tub were a nice addition. Laundry was really fairly priced. The cafe had great breakfast and you must get a Whoopie pie from the candy store! This spot is in a park but there are other RVs. Everyone was nice and friendly. Would go back!

J & T Hideaway / Silver Springs, FL was a clean, well appointed site, only a short drive from Silver Springs. The pool was nearby and open until 10pm and the Bath House had AC and clean hot showers. Tina was a welcoming and attentive host and we recommend this site to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice site on the corner with a little deck. Nice trail in the to walk on in the woods. Nice campground we didn’t get to see it all. Wished we would have stayed longer. Close to Silver springs. We did check the little candy store out in front before we left.. make sure you don’t miss stopping there. Everyone there was friendly. Would like to come back and stay longer next time!

Tina’s property is located in 55+mobile CB home park. The park is in a beautiful setting including many ponds, a river and all the amenities you would expect ( swimming pool/hot tub, laundry room, rest rooms with showers). Tina’s space is on a large corner lot with a level cement pad and ample room for parking your vehicle. A wood deck provides a great place to sit and relax. Fire pits are allowed but you must provide your own. The best part about this property is its proximity (4 miles) to Silver Springs State park where we spent all three days of our stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay and the resort. The site was nicely decorated, spacious, well-kept, comfortable, and easy to back our RV in to. We also liked the proximity to local activities and attractions. There's also a little country store there that sells homemade Whoopie Pies. We will definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for nice place to glamp in Ocala, Fl.

We stayed here for a week to visit with family in the area, and see Silver Springs State Park.This is in an exclusive RV community, for 55 & older. (Which we are)We didn’t know that when I reserved it, not that it mattered, just putting that info out there.The dogs loved the huge dog park.it’s a bit of a walk~a couple of blocks,many residents use golf carts.We didn’t use the laundry, pool or hot tub, or mail service.It all looks nice!We were gone much of the time. There is a dumpster onsite, approx.a block or 2 walk.I checked out the Sweet Shop onsite,famous for their Whoopie Pies~delicious!There is a cafe, but we went off site to eat with family, in Ocala. Many restaurants in Silver Springs & Ocala. As well as Lowes, Walmart, and Winn Dixie. Silver Springs State Park is up the road, approx 10 min.The RV spot is far enough away from Hwy 40 that you can’t hear the traffic. FHUs worked well, backing in is at an incline, so we had to recenter a few times to make sure our levelers didn’t scrape or drag.The patio deck was a nice touch,allowing us to grill one evening, and the ability to enjoy our Solo fire.It’s a corner lot, so there aren’t neighbors on the patio side.There are also large bushes that provide some added privacy.Another Bonus is the coded entrance to this community.We walked the dogs on the River Access Greenway Trail,which starts nearby the dog park. We saw a Kayak launch and some to rent.I think I covered the big highlights! Thanks for sharing you spot with us!

This was a great place to stay if you want a convenient easy place to park. It is a trailer park so there is no feeling of camping but for an overnight the hookups were easy.
