Welcome to Malakai campgrounds different by design 🏕 I purchased this land several years ago after a loss of a child a daughter her named was (little jo) JoLisa Marie Roadcap , it was a life changing moment, teaching me that family and enjoying of life is what it all about... so I want to welcome you here to Malakai for a peaceful and relaxing time, it's even a place that may help you heal from life hardships... At 5:30 just as the Sun comes up it is time for you to go out on to the deck and listen to the birds song 🎵 . As the Sun starts to rise on a new day ✨️ dozens of species of birds from the Great American Bald Eagle , To the endangered woodpecker, The blue herrings, bluebirds(we have mating pair that comes every year) blue jays, mocking birds, doves and several other species and occasionally a couple small black bears like walking through, we want you to have a peaceful and relaxing stay here while you visit everything, here at Garson Point were several species of carnivorous plants grow wild and our beaches have much to offer. It's official -- after 4 years of politics we are officially a park and a preserve.....9 acres of 🚶‍♂️ trails 👣 we are still constructing trails by hand I believe this place has a spiritual strength to people of all nations History of our location Count De Galvez awarded a land grant on Garcon Point to Antonio Garzon following his 1781 Siege of Pensacola in consideration of “his good services rendered as an interpreter to the Indians of Pensacola." The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay. The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals. Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem. Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers. The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay. Nearly 20 rare and endangered species of plants 🪴 and animals make their homes along the bay and its wet prairies, dome swamps and flatwoods.

Mexico Beach, FL · 4 sites · Tents, RVs
The hideaway at Robert's landing is nestled on nearly 3 acres of tree-surrounded land in overstreet, FL. Only primitive campsites for tent or small trailers, campervans and cars. Sites that offer the perfect escape without being too far off the beaten path. Enjoy total privacy and seclusion with no neighbors to interrupt. The property is a spacious 3-acre field, with ATV or hiking trails leading vou through the untouched woods for a deeper nature experience. Bring the bug spray in summer months, after all this is of the grid camping. This rustic, off-the-grid spot offers no electricity, no running water but the inter coastal waterway is just steps away. Ideal for those seeking an a safe backcountry adventure. Perfect for car campers and tent enthusiasts. Located 5 miles east off of Hwy 386, it's a 7 minute drive to Mexico Beach, and 15 minutes to wewahitchka, where you'll find dining and supplies. Fishing is just steps away, and if you want to have us take you Fishing on the ICW, we can arrange that for a fee. Notes: ⁃ We recommend an SUV or truck to navigate the dirt road leading to this amazing place. Sometimes it's graded sometimes it's rough after a lot of rain. All-wheel drive would be ideal, especially after rainy conditions! That said, I have had my jetta there, but it's not always a great road. ⁃ You should be able to get a small camper on the land if you have a powerful vehicle, but I recommend you stick with car or tent camping. Truck campers are very easily getting in. ⁃ Keep in mind, this is a rural location, so you may occasionally hear neighbors firing weapons in the distance. While it's not common, it can happen from time to time. (Especially during hunting season.) ⁃ You may come across wildlife during your stay. While issues and encounters with dangerous animals are extremely rare, it's always a good idea to be prepared by bringing basic first aid supplies and protective items like bear spray, and bug spray. ⁃ There is a Dollar General less than 15 minutes away in either direction for your basic needs. - everyday I'm working to improve this area, like picnic tables, defined camping spots, parking area, fire pits, stuff like that.

Tallahassee, FL · 11 sites · Tents, RVs, Lodging
Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 owned micro-farm in a rural area of Tallahassee on the beautiful Lake Talquin. The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming. It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell chicken eggs, specialty cottage goods, honey, and natural goat milk and honey products. We also sell raw goat milk (for pet consumption only, as per Florida law - Master Feed License #ZOO406).

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

Planted pine, orchard, untouched wetlands, walking trails, planted fields for wildlife viewing. Quiet and peaceful escape. Close to several state parks, including Torreya, Three rivers, Seminole, Florida Caverns, and Lake Talaquin forest. At this time I can host 1 RV or camper with full hook ups, 3 RV sites with power, water and 1 boondock (no power/water) site but large enough for an off-grid/self-sustainable RV. I'm always happy to show folks around and share the story. Please note: During the rainy season the grass may get a bit long at times. You can also expect to experience a wide variety of agricultural activities, outside of quiet hours of course. Born out of a dream that started 10 years ago when I acquired 40 acres of forgotten and unmanaged rural woods. Having dug right in with the help of the Florida Forestry Service, FWC, IFAS, NRCS and a very knowledgeable private forester; we developed a conservation management plan to restore it to its native state. The neighboring land became available and happily added another 40, I've learned so much on this amazing journey. 25K pines and a great deal of sweat equity later, it is time to share and encourage others to join in on the conservation efforts and make sure it's around for future generations.

Stay cozy and warm inside our glamping tent with an electric fireplace! (We have a website. A google search "Paradise Gardens Westville Florida" will help with that). Elevated on a 20x28 wood deck, surrounded by lush landscaping and many extras, this campsite is less than an hour from lakes, rivers, natural springs, and the famous Emerald Coast. Roam the small fruit and vegetable gardens, where, depending on the season, you can pick grapes and other berries, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, or vegetables like tomatoes, okra, peppers, or squash. Whether you're seeking a romantic escape for two or a family adventure, this glamping haven provides something for everyone. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit, relax in a hammock swing, grill your favorite meal on the bbq, or lay back in the bell tent comfy queen bed while enjoying the AC. If you are looking for an experience, and not just some patch of dirt to camp on, Paradise Gardens is for you. Glamping is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors without having the hassle of hauling your own gear around. Walk the 25 acres amongst some of the oldest pine trees in Northwest Florida. Take the diameter of a pine tree and multiply by 5 and that tells you the approximate age. Given that some of these trees are between 3 and 5 feet wide, know that when they were saplings, Thomas Edison invented his light bulb, Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address, and some are old enough to have been there when Jefferson penned the draft of the Declaration of Independence. Beyond the campsite, you can explore the nearby white sand beaches. See the natural springs of Ponce DeLeon, less than 15 minutes away. Or do other activities like swimming, fishing, and hiking. Amenities: 16.4 foot diameter furnished bell tent on a 20x28 elevated wooden deck (3 steps). Queen bed plus couch and small cot, sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.

Mini-Fridge 1.6cf, AC, fan, coffee maker, charging port outlets, picnic table, lots of custom lighting, bbq grill, fire pit, outdoor sink, grilling utensils, 2 portable toilet buildings, & outdoor wood shower stall where you can take a hot shower.
