the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.
also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

The site is on the back part of our 80 acres. Where the camper is located there is a half mile trail through the forest, across from our driveway there is a 2.6 mile nature trail, a 15 mile biking trail, place to launch a kayak or boat, and we are close to wekiva and rock springs. not to mention a free 15 mile nature drive on the weekends just minutes away. plus we arent far from downtown Mount Dora. There is a primitive campground here too (North Shore Relic Ranch). looking for other stuff to see, look no further. lol in the center of the property there is alot of stuff to see. plane hulls, concert truck, cars, trucks, military truck, cows, goats, chickens, etc. its a unique stay for sure!

Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

Our easy to access property has a tree lined drive that welcomes you to our camping space. With just three lots you'll be able to enjoy your time here in a partially shaded space. Once you're settled you can sit outside and soak up the sun or enjoy a quiet meal at your own picnic table while watching the birds (you may be lucky enough to spot the Painted Buntings!). There's also a grassy area to let your trained and friendly dog(s) stretch their legs and get some play time in.
When you're ready to venture out, you'll find great local "hole-in-the-wall" eateries along with your chain restaurant favorites. We're close to adventures of all types like Bok Tower Gardens, Legoland, several state parks, canoeing/kayaking, great fishing, paddle boarding, skydiving, Sunshine Flea Market, and the Spook Hill Mystery Spot. You can also opt to catch a movie at the local theater or take a tour of the Florida's Natural orange juice factory.
If you're up for a 45-60 min drive you can also visit several of the attractions often featured in "weird Florida" guides including Solomon's Castle, Gatorland, and Monument of the States. And let's not forget, the more well-known attractions, Disney World and Universal Studios are also conveniently located about 45-60 minutes away.
When you're ready to stock up on supplies, we're near gas stations and grocery stores (don't leave without trying the famous Publix subs). There are also coin operated laundry options near by.
If you need it, there is a reputable RV tire and service company about 10 minutes away.
Join us for a night, a few days, or even a week. While you're here we'll be happy to give you recommendations for our favorite spots or leave you to explore on your own – either way we look forward to hosting you!

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

Our easy to access property has a tree lined drive that welcomes you to our camping space. With just three lots you'll be able to enjoy your time here in a partially shaded space. We offer both 30 and 50 amp electric, along with water and septic hookups. Maximum length 35', please call if longer. We're centrally located to many attractions like Disney World, Universal Studios, Legoland, and many other unique options.

Once you're settled you can sit outside and soak up the sun or enjoy a quiet meal at your own picnic table while watching the birds (you may be lucky enough to spot the Painted Buntings!). There's also a grassy area to let your trained and friendly dog(s) stretch their legs and get some play time in.
When you're ready to venture out, you'll find great local "hole-in-the-wall" eateries along with your chain restaurant favorites. We're close to adventures of all types like Bok Tower Gardens, Legoland, several state parks, canoeing/kayaking, great fishing, paddle boarding, skydiving, Sunshine Flea Market, and the Spook Hill Mystery Spot. You can also opt to catch a movie at the local theater or take a tour of the Florida's Natural orange juice factory.
If you're up for a 45-60 min drive you can also visit several of the attractions often featured in "weird Florida" guides including Solomon's Castle, Gatorland, and Monument of the States. And let's not forget, the more well-known attractions, Disney World and Universal Studios are also conveniently located about 45-60 minutes away.
When you're ready to stock up on supplies, we're near gas stations and grocery stores (don't leave without trying the famous Publix subs). There are also coin operated laundry options near by.
If you need it, there is a reputable RV tire and service company about 10 minutes away.
Join us for a night, a few days, or even a week. While you're here we'll be happy to give you recommendations for our favorite spots or leave you to explore on your own – either way we look forward to hosting you!

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! This is our second year camping at this property and we absolutely love it. It really has everything! A great location right next to The Villages, limited to a single campsite, a large fabulous covered pavilion right as you step out of your RV, a BBQ, laundry facilities, a beautiful hobby farm, fabulous hosts and I could go on and on. Seriously, don’t miss this place. Definitely one of the best places we have ever camped.

Aside from occasional noise from a neighbor, Marci's place was quiet. I especially appreciated the outdoor shower and enjoyed overlooking the lake.

This place was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The campsite is tucked beneath stunning old oaks draped in Spanish moss, and it truly feels like a private retreat. I loved having space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the quiet.
The fire pit setup was perfect for evenings, and the setting felt both safe and secluded without being difficult to access. It was a wonderful place to unwind, read, and even do some painting surrounded by nature.
If you’re looking for calm, natural beauty, and that classic Old Florida atmosphere, this is it. I would absolutely stay again.
